Today I compared 3 different farm designs in Stardew Valley. One with 1 Hour, one with 100 hours, and one with over 1,000 hours of playtime on it!

Hey seanie can I ask what’s the song you use for the outro I love it but can’t find it anywhere.
@@Cj-mh9tqi believe it’s called “:D” by Jova
Why didn't you check QI room to see perfection level?
i feel the second farm because i also have chests that have specific themes but i could NEVER explain what it is to someone else lmao
Me too! I have my own way to organize. Like... I have a chest for stuff I don't really use, but can maybe use when the time is right, also a chest for good gifts for the town folks and one that has stuff that I don't wanna move to where they really should be, because that chest is too far away right now. :D
Same! My husband and I play multiplayer on a farm and he’s always asking where stuff is and I’m like the it’s in the left most chest! That’s the SPRING chest!
I have a chest full of “ingredients” for craftable items. Then I have a chest full of ingredients that aren’t good enough to be in the first chest. I could never explain to someone why the chests are split the way they are but I can sort things into them quickly so it doesn’t matter
@Off With the Salt! That is brilliant! :D
I like to have themes when I can, but most of the time it's just: "Dump stuff from my inventory into whatever available storage I have, including accidentally wasting storage by putting an item in more than one chest because I forgot that I already put that item somewhere else". This is why I need the Chests Anywhere mod.
The most impressive thing by far was the RGB-organized museum. That's just baller.
not the three CHESTS of staircases?
Fr, i try to organize my museum by theme but thats peak right there
I actually organized mine like that recently! When I saw it in this video it felt like the biggest coincidence.
@@lerpog4509three? Brother there were EIGHT
I may have to copy their layout lmao I always organize it like a rainbow but there’s too many things and I can never organize it in a way I like
BTW the reason for all those staircases (and all those jades) is because Algo needs 999 auto-petters. Which he'll have to get from treasure chests in Skull Caverns. Once all the chests are full of staircases, that ought to be just about enough. 😄
Yep exactly right! I need 250k staircases (on average) to get all 999 auto-petters.
I was just here looking at this comment and a guy named 999 Stardew had replied to you and said it takes 250k staircases to get the skull cavern chest floors for the 999 auto-petters... so clicked on his name and had a look at this channel and it seemed legit. Then I came back to ask him a question but the comment was deleted. Just like that. Here one minute yet gone the next.
@@jerrywbrice I can still see my comment! Something must have bugged out for you. What's your question?
@@TheAlGoreRhythm999well now the comment is back! I guess I left the page with the comment open and that caused some sort of glitch when I came back around. Well anyway .. I was just curious if you have an idea of how many hours it will take overall .. like have you extrapolated your progress so far and have an estimate on how many more hours it should take to finish this unprecedented goal
@@jerrywbrice I have a general idea, I think timewise I'm close to 65% done. I'm anticipating about 2 to 2 and 1/2 more years of real life time. In some ways, certain things are going slower and faster than I expected. So I'm not sure I really know exactly how long it will take.
no one:
seanie: ✨ mushroom bat cave ✨
I was going to comment the same thing XD
He needs the mushroom bats for the skeleton cavern
I'm AgentGoob/Branch!! And yes, the movement is set to arrows cause at the time I didn't have a mouse and was just playing with a trackpad. This was actually the farm I started to try and relearn Stardew Valley after not playing for a couple years.
I don't remember why I cleared the farm, but I apparently didn't do much else.
I hate the mines, so usually let it sit for a while. I also hate fishing and try to get all the community centre fish from the travelling cart.
Bro I feel you I cheat them. I saw ezlily say you should do all the community center except one bundle then do Joja so you get EVERYTHING and I might do that next so I can do everything but the fishing one lmaoooo
@@kaydwessie296 I do what Lily said lol. I can't get the money as fast as I can complete bundles so it works for me.
on my one farm I got the tea set on my first feast of the winter star, later on like 3 years later I was married to Abigail and accidentally gave it to her while I was moving it and she said she hated it, I was devastated
This sounds like the worst thing ever... I hate the most when you accidentally give a gift and they hate it, more if I actually had a loved gift with me and even more, if I gave them something I really wanted to keep.
That sounds like a good time to exit to title screen and restart the day lol
@@gsgaming6976 i didn't even think of it at the time, I was just so upset
@@NG1351 I hear ya. Pain.
I would of divorced Abby right there
The amount of progress really differs depending on how experienced you are. On my first ever save I had 2 mil total earning after 170 hours, and I had not even been to ginger island yet. And on my latest one I have 24 mil total earnings after 120 hours and working my way towards perfection.
The farm I have with the most progress on it is comparatively bad to what I could pull off now, solely because of how old it is. I made it before you could even choose a different color of cat than orange. I have very good progress on it, but it's currently completely bottlenecked by Ginger Island. It just....didn't exist for 90% of my playthrough, so I did zero prep for the boat, and I've been stuck ever since trying to grind out iridium and hardwood (again, barely any hardwood, because mahogany trees are a recent addition).
When Seanie said "999 pairs of lucky shorts...." I died. I spat my coffee in the direction of my cat. Never , ever change SeanieDew.
_legends say the cat smells of coffee to this day_
5:45 Elliot is wholesome- I’m ready to die on that hill. (Someone who has only dated Sebastian lol)
1 hour farm is focused on one task at a time but clearly knows what they are doing
100 hour farm is a delight, quite creative
1000 hour farm is peak optimization
Accurate
Star picked the best husband and ill die on that hill
This is so true he is my beloved
Elliot is the best husband. I will die with you on that hill. 😤
@@starzono I'm making files to marry each of the bachelor's/ettes (as im to soft to ever divorce) and it always feels weird when I'm not on my main file lol cause I see him from a distance and it throws me off 😂😂😂😂
you need better taste in spouses
@@foxychick5292not like the other guys are much better lmao
I relate to the second farm so hard.
Just entered year 2 and I've got all but the ginger island fish and the walleye because I forgot to catch it and then it didn't rain the entirety of autumn.
My chests are everywhere and have themes but randomly contain furniture and other objects when I run out of room in my other chests. (Too much wood lol)
I think I picked almost exactly the same professions too.
The random flower chest filled with tulips as well, it had me laughing so hard since Seanie was confused but I felt a connection. Mine is because I'm befriending Evelyn and she loves tulips. I've also got a singular bomb in there, idrk why
Ayo Elliott is an amazing husband 😭😭😭
People who marry Elliot are both cool and based.
See my younger brother's name is Elliot so I can never take him seriously lol
AGREED, although he never helps me with the farming no matter how many pomegranates 😭
@@artwithlaur aww you poor thing he helps me every once in a while
Elliott virgin
the second farm is like, never let them know your next move.
71,928. that's what level the last farm could get to with those two chests of stairs assuming he didn't jump through any shafts.
Having watched most of Algos streams, I tend to forget the amount of stuff he has is insane. It's nice to get a new perspective on it
Sean’s face with the stair cases is hilarious.
i was just going to comment that 😂😂
once he is done with his island where he has to collect 999 of everything, he should sell it ALL and see how much money he gets 🤭🤭
That's one of the things I'm planning on doing!
20:23 i love how he was about to say "52 fish" as if he has ALL of the other stuff but only has caught barely over 50 fish
i just realised... the golden pumpkin. 999 YEARS TO DO THAT!
You can also get them from artifact troves (even if it'll still take a while lol)
My first year 1 I got Lewis as my secret Santa and I got the tea set. Like literally after watching a video mentioning it was rare
I love how Seanie always forgot about water retaining fertilizer you don’t have to water everything everyday on the beach farm lol definitely at high levels
I also change my key-bindings to use the arrow keys instead of WASD, even though I haven't play on a laptop in years. I've never managed to get the hang of (or the will to _try_ getting the hang of) using WASD. It's okay for games like minecraft, where you can change what direction you're moving with the mouse and basically are just pressing W to move at all. But as soon as you get into having to choose what direction you're going with WASD, I lose all sense of what I'm doing. I grew up playing games like Chip's Challenge and Tetris; arrow-key-only games. For some reason, my brain does not comprehend that WASD is exactly the same, just using the left hand instead of the right hand.
Instead, I have a convoluted left hand set-up for interacting/using and I have all the hotkey locations memorized for opening my journal, the map, my inventory, all with my left hand. I've even got it set up that inventory slot 1 has a hotkey close to where the "use" key is and I keep my weapon in that slot all the time so I can switch to it quickly.
So when do I use the mouse? As little as possible. There's only a few places using a mouse is necessary (I would be happy if the mouse was _never_ necessary) and I have both hands on the keyboard 95% of the time. I'm well aware that my setup is 1) not completely efficient and 2) would be completely impossible for anyone else to use, but...
hey, it works for me.
There should be an (affordable) "ambidextrous" keyboard with arrow keys on both sides. Basically everything mirrored exception alphanumeric & punctuation keys. Maybe it could even have a package deal with a right- or left-hand mouse, or idfk even a pair of them?? haha. I think that would really up the ergonomic factor, too, and not just for left-handed _gamers,_ but just lefties in general lol. 💕 Idk That's a KickStarter _I'd_ donate to! 🤷 (...If said item doesn't already exist - again, at an *affordable* price.)
I didn't even know WASD was optimized for lefthanded people, no wonder why it confused me lol
how old are you lol
I went straight to check out AlGoreRhythm. The endless chests filled with staircases was the final push. I was surprised to find he was actually streaming at the time! His game was every bit as chaotic as I expected
I'm a Completionist™️ for certain games, but can also just play them for hours, hoarding things and beating inane records.
SV is definitely one I will at LEAST try to get "Perfection" on, but deep down, if I thought I could push myself to do it, I'd LOVE to do a Max-Items Run. I'm better at completing less open-ended games like the ever-replayable _The Legend of Zelda_ series, or puzzle games, like _Pokémon Battle: Trozei!_
That said, I'd love to run Concept Farms/Runs, including "playing as" various NPCs and designing the farm based on what I think they'd value, prioritize, and how they'd decorate and/or design things. Willy [Beach Farm or Riverland Farm] could have a huge fish farm. Gus [Forest or Standard Farm] grows crops and raises animals to make fresh food for the saloon. Haley [Standard Farm, or whichever farm the player thinks has the most Haley-friendly layout/aesthetic] has flower fields that go forever, and her sister Emily [Hill-Top Farm or Four Corners Farm] has a musical farm that uses zero animal labour (no barns, no coops, no horse... but maybe a dog or cat is still okay) and crystalarium fencing. You get the picture? God, that could be so fun. A person could even choose to role-play, cosplay, etc. (if they're a RUclipsr or Streamer anyway, lol). I'd love to see someone do that. Or even just use that farm-designing tool online (and maybe an art program, idk) to give a basic idea of what they see when they imagine that character's farm. Maybe some SV community artists could work their magic. Hmmmm... 😌💭
Its always so interesting what people can come up with after they finished a game the normal way. Like collecting 999 from each item... thats crazy :D
"Spring 7 of day 1" off to a great start
Mushroom Bat cracked me up way too much.
8:36 yes I also love the mushroom bat cave aswell
Love me some Seanie Dew
The 1000+ hours farm looks like what the Stardew valley RUclips shorts tell you to do with kegs
I'm watching this in the background while taking notes but I whipped my head up when you said that Algo's farm is ALL ORGANIC NO CHEATS??? YEAR 20??? holy crow
Yeah I think my oldest farm is only on year 4 lmao!
The year 3 save made me feel self conscious about my year 4 save with my level 7 fishing and combat + no merging rings because I can't figure out Ginger Island to save my live
Think that's bad? Try year 6 with level 9 combat, no ginger island progress, still 0 hearts with the dwarf, only like. 2 million in earrings, and still basic watering can
@@JlBUNROCKi suggest upgrading the can in winter when you dont need to water stuff
(either that or water it when everything is already watered with sprinklers and stuff)
Now I'm gonna name my first child with Elliot Sean
I checked on the 100 hour farm. If you look at the description before starting a new farm, it states that sprinklers don't work on the sandy soil.
Perfect one with a complete step by step details u had shown.. thx u !!!
I love watching Algo's/Ryan's streams a lot, so seeing someone who doesn't watch them, react to this insane farm was hilarious. It's so crazy when you first see it but as someone who watches his streams often it's so normal to me 😂
Great Video Seanie !!
bro is not killing those serpents in the skull caverns 💀
I love Algo’s streams, a great combination of entertaining, soothing, and sweet; super nice guy. I loved seeing 999 of each of the three special statues, because that is multi step detail work
I have been able to get the tea set on every single save file I have so far. If my gift buddy is one of those that can potentially give the tea set, I reset until I get it. I go to the festival at different times and walk around more. I'm not completely sure what RNG is set for it, but you can get it if you keep trying and changing things up. I think the highest amount of resets I have had to do is over 40, but I eventually got it!!
8:03 I’m crying. I have a ton of blue jazz for Lucky Lunches, but DAMN, someone likes Granny Evelyn 💗
Elliot is so sweet, I don’t understand the hate 😭
TIL, you can process Pale ale in the cellar
And cheese!
How can you disrespect my husband like that 😭😭😭😭
i love how seanie said that both the lucky ring and the tea set are super rare items yet i got them in my first two years 😅
I saw a millisecond glimpse of my save file in Seanie's list and I squealed omg Seanie has MY farm.
100 hours is usually when I reach perfection and start the next farm. To be fair though, I spend 0 of those hours on interior design (or exterior for that matter).
Also, you can tell someone is bonkers when they'd rather have speed-gro + starfruit instead of deluxe retainint soil + ancient fruit. The latter is just much easier to handle (979 ancient fruit every week - and it takes an entire day to harvest and keg them all; you do make 2.3mill per week with only ~30min of work and don't have to worry about running into a sprinkler).
Yeah, plus I hate replanting, so starfruit ain't it for me. I'm a sit back and relax farmer so I love the ancient fruit and multi-harvest crops
They're probably holding the seeds so they replant while they harvest. The only extra step is grabbing the seeds really.
I WONT STAND FOR THIS ELLIOT SLANDER!!!!
Trust me, the chests ARE organized. We cant explain it to anyone but they are organized. If your museum looks like that, your chest are organized too. Outsiders just cant understand it.
not all of you forgetting that elliott has two t's 😭
The stair chests have me rolling🤣
I feel that table makes PERFECT sense!!! Inventory was full one day when an item was for sale so it was easy to plop down the table and then after that it just lives there now. 😂
Star’s save is so chaotic and I love it 😭😭
I too choose the mushroom bat cave, seanie
Never realized how rare lucky rings are I got about two chest with them
I feel so accomplished having the tea set I thought it was such a cute gift from jodi aw
The last farm is mind blowing 🤯
for the 2nd farm, i bet they bought that table from the traveling cart and didnt wanna go drop it off so placed it down to come back when they have inventory space 2 years later
according to the owner of the farm its because they plan on decorating the traveling cart's place
👏This👏is👏an👏Elliot👏appreciation 👏post👏
YESSS!
👏Elliot👏is👏the👏best👏bachelor👏
so true, I'm not letting my boy get disrespected like that
FINALLY
I stand by you people of culture!
i would love to have seanie roast my 6 (real life) years farm where i have maybe like 20 percent completed. I am moving st a glacial pace. Ive never had a slime hutch. Im getting roasted on sdv tumblr bc i didnt know how scarecrows work
Wow, it's really cool to see how much more organised people are than me. I got to year 2, watched a lot of perfection videos around then, and decided to beeline it by end of year 3 so everything was a mess and I finished perfection about 130 hours in. I cheated a bit, since I didn't realise how crucial kegs were and didn't have enough for all my ancient fruit, so in the last stretch I abused Blade's predictor and won enough games of blackjack at the casino to buy stuff to sell for millions of gold. Turns out the blackjack reward can overflow and become negative, which I did a few times while I was sleepy.
I just love Seanie. Your vids are my comfort zone. :)
5:49
This person won Elliot over with coffee and coffee alone
Why does it seem like a lot people dislike Elliott? I don't get it lol
If I had 100 years in game, I could probably pull off that level of organization. He's only on year 28. That's an efficient use of time.
have been waiting for another Seanie vid :))
The Elliott hate… when he’s the best husband possible… vile behavior 😤
It’s kinda funny tho ngl. On my new save (first computer save! I was on switch before) I plan on seeing more things which means I want to marry everyone, but by order plan is Sam year 1, Shane next to get him out of the way, whoever I want, and then I end on Elliott and settle down with him :) because he is clearly best :)))
RIP the last guy after 1.6 came out
Yo I have a ridge wallet and they are really great ! Was really surprised about the sponsorship! 🔥
After seeing this, I would just love to give out my farm to someone to try to make sense of it xD
Yknow, Vincent and Jas look really young for being well over 30
8:25 😂😂😂 MUSHROOM BAT CAVE 😂😂😂😂😂😂
A "roasting your farms" video would be hilarious
Is the lucky ring really that rare? I think I’ve gotten like 2 in my playthrough. I just unlocked the volcano top, I should start using them😅
I think I love the second farm the most!
would be fun to see a "seanie rates your farms" stream/video sometime
We don't always have to hate on my Elliot lol.
6:40 Since the fridge wasn't used and I was thinking it was to store certain types of items, I put all my legendries there for storage. There wasn't a problem they just sat there for a long time. I finally got married to someone and they made me sashimi a couple days and for some reason I checked my legendary fish about a year later and they were missing.
WHAT THAT CAN HAPPEN??
@@user-ys7ty7mz2g yes. NEVER put your important fish in a fridge.
10:00 minutes in, good museum organization. Will come back to steal.
Bro said “let’s see what someone’s farm looks like after an hour” like it was really gonna be something
I notice how the 1000 hour farm has 2 irriduim watering cans, one on the farm and one in skull cavern and I can't help but wonder was it a accidental glitch or a pro gamer move.
Just the thought of somebody going through my current file and seeing the mess I made so far gives me anxiety 😅
I think you should do this again, I’m pretty sure there are plenty who are well past 100 hours since 1.6 and you can do an update on that last guys’ insane save.
I also think you should do a few 100h saves as well to really show the difference in what players do. The 100h save was clearly a more “casual” player, which there is nothing wrong but I would like to see what others do. Especially with decorations.
brooo i love the mario music. sounds like its from bowsers inside story
Not only did you cut yourself putting your keys in your pocket, but it happens all the time...
Bless your heart
Elliot is the best spouse idc 👽
the multiple chests of stairs just baffles me
Damn they got way more progress compared to my 103 hours
we love the mushroom bat cave
WHAT? I knew purses were goated, but cutting up your skin by shoving keys in huge man pockets is shocking information to me. My dad’s had a Ridge wallet for years, and it still looks and feels new
dont stop get it get it until you cheddar head it steady watch me navigate ahahahaha
Sean: Oh my GOD. 53,000 diamonds!
Hermitcraft: Am I a joke to you
I got a tea set on my first feast of the winter star
You know how you said that Everybody that ever gets into the ginger island farm There are house there just looks barren or whatever mine is full of Furnaces I mean absolutely packed😀
16:51 I got it from my first event on m first playthrough lol.
Time later I learned it was decently rare
You: Wow I'm impressed!
Me: you have seen nothing if only you can see my farm on day 7...
ADDED CHANCE FOR BABY TOSS TO CRIT
in my newest playthrough i got a strange capsule on fall 10 year 2 and i also got 8 prismatic shards 50+ diamonds n 2 owl statues-
Everyone says the tea set is rare but I got it on my first winter star, then two times after that 💀
