Theo and Bee gave up their busy city lifestyles in 2014 to explore alternative living, and have lived in vans and boats since then without looking back! Along with their cat Ginjey Bear they have been driving around the world in their self converted Sprinter van. However, when the global pandemic hit they began converting their abandoned stone barn in Central Portugal to turn into a wonderful tiny stone cottage. Along the way, they have rescued a playful cat called Furrnando and have a wonderful flock of Chickens!

Bee, picking up rocks, admiring color, shape, finding a heart - me: Bee is my rock twin!!!! ❤❤
It makes me ridiculously happy to hear your genuine relaxed laughter Bea! ❤
Bea, your spider story made me laugh! Here in Switzerland, wolf spiders are becoming more common, and one likes to come into the bedroom in the evenings; but she knows the routine - I scoop her into a little bug observation jar to let her go on the OTHER side of the house. Eventually she finds her way around again, and the game continues. I would never kill a spider, large or small!
Theo adores his “beautiful smelly lady”❤😂 Bee, you crack me up. And no worries, because we all can’t smell through RUclips 🎉
And to think you lived in a van for such a long time. Now you have more space and toys your garage runneth over. Its always fun watching you two!
Love it, Theo “preparation for chipping is key” 😅 Then you fill the cab 😂😂😂
I was screaming “put a tarp on the UTV before you start chipping” at my screen, I had a feeling it would be covered with all the blown away bits 😅
Quality vlog and full of amusing moments. Love that you make your blogs a little longer. They are quality. We'll done getting that huge stone sorted in place x
SO a lot of trees were old, and rotting, so now you clean up and have a brand new opening into your life on Miracle Mountain~~💚Beautiful~~💚
I think people in Portugal especially this couple are very familiar with what poses a fire risk. B & T you’re the best and you’re very wise when it comes to forestry management and caring for all the creatures blessed enough to have found their way to you. Thanks for let us watch your escapades. Big fan from Ottawa 👵👋🇨🇦🥰
Bravery, Bee, is not a lack of fear. It is starring your fear in the face and proceeding despite the fear. Well done, Bee ❤
Always get a good chipper ,you don’t want your chipper letting you down, and always point your chipper in the right direction Theo 😂😂
Theo has so much fun with the tractor!
Gingey!!!! What fun to see her again. The Original Indie Project cat! So much hard work for you two - good thing you are gathering good equipment - besides working better, I'm sure it's safer too. Yes, learning how to weld would be a great addition to your repertoires! Or making friends with whom you can trade skills. Fantastic progress on your beautiful land. Well done.
Wow scrapheap challenge is a blast from the past, I used to love that programme 😊🇬🇧
So good!
Bee, it is so nice to see you laughing and joking with Theo.
I love you content! I know you have so much to do in the property but I'd love to see some indoor content from you as well 😊 like home rennovations, decorations, etc.
Love to see you both working together having fun. ❤
Jacqui 🇦🇺🐨
I saw on a RUclips short that in water reservoirs they put these black fabric liners that you melt the seams together and you get less evaporation. It would have helped with your dam erosion too!
Why didn't you tell them that before they put the water in it!?
When you first showed Theo running I had visions of Portuguese news channels running a story about a confused Englishman turning up worn out and sweating in the local town chasing a wood chipper. 😄
Heck Im knakkered watchin all that Work, i need a Siesta😋😋😁👍👍.... I know the feeling.. i Spent the morning diggin weeds, waterin and cuttin a water ditch before it gets too cold❄️. 70f today here in Eastern Idaho. Be 48f Tomorrow. Be blessed yoo all🙏🙏🙏
Hi folks....lovely to see Bea smiling so much now......Just had a thought: Perhaps Theo could design up and weld a tow-fitting to fit that chipper so that he can tow it behind your ATV..?? It will make things easier for you both.
Do hope you take days off in-between such physically exhausting tasks!
And thank you for the tender closing piece with Gingey. ❤
Yes love the cats! Good job done on your beautiful mountain! Thanks for sharing it!
Y'all are so blessed with all that land & can run all over the place.
I tapped my shoe before putting it on...spider was hanging on. Felt him with my toe. Flung that shoe off quickly.
Your dream was quite interesting! Vacuumed all the spiders. 😂
Bea, your energy, humor and spirit are SO bright and positive this year! I am really liking your hair-dos also, whether super short and blond or long and two-toned, I’m finding it attractive on you and very positive. I’m so glad you are happier and feeling good.
I love ❤ you guys. B you are a breath of fresh air! And funny and silly 😂❤. Christine from Jamaica 🇯🇲 ❤❤
Bea love and enjoy your videos. May the lord bless and protect you and Theo and the animals and Miracle Mountain and working the homestead
I wanted to let you know I love seeing the extra videos each week! I can only image what the place will look like in two more years.
Definitely protect your ears more, ringing in the ears from a loud noise can mean that some hairs in the cochlear have been permanently damaged, leading to hearing loss. Wish I'd known this when I used to stand by the speakers at gigs!
Bea you are looking so radiant at the moment it is just shining out of you. 😊
You two are having fun working together, bless you:)))
Always get a good chipper, you don’t want your chipper letting you down 😂😂
You are an amazing couple. You would have made great pioneers in the days of the American ‘Wild West’!
Would love to see some drone footage of the trees as the autumn arrives, the colours will be wonderful 😊
Theo is right, little jobs undone, become big jobs and deflate motivation. I know, being the queen of turning a blind eye to little jobs, then am overwhelmed. Wish I had a Theo in my life to motivate me!
Hugs from 🇨🇦
Just want to say you are two wonderful charming people, love your videos.❤❤❤
Welcome back, Theo and B it’s always nice to watch you guys work together on your land. I’m watching you from Southern Alberta Canada.
Hi Theo and Bee , I must say Bee your hair is looking fantastic and the big smile on your face. I just absolutely love it. Keep up the good work guys keep loving each other as much as you can cliff from Australia
Great work guys. I’m sorry but I did laugh when I saw all the wood clippings in the UTV. Good idea in pitting a board over it next time. Take care, keep safe. 💕 Dorset, UK
You do make me laugh Bee with your comments. Miracle mountain is looking very beautifully autumnal 🍂
Hi, lovely to see gingybear, how is baby doing now? ❤
You two were certainly "chipper" this week 🤪
Those peach wood shavings would be ideal to use in the BBQ 🍖 🍗 it will lend delicious flavor to your meat 🥩 and 😊veggies😊 🥕 🥦 .
Chicken loves ALL kind of vegetables likes those small pumpkins and greenery, they clear a big area fast.
Hi love your channel,I'm a retired welder ,All the steel from the burnt scaffold tower is an ideal material to make a towing bar or low wheel on trailer, for your wood chipper . I think you can weld ,? If you don't weld, a cheap gas less MIG welder is easy to learn to weld on £150.00 ISH.
All the best Ron uk
Thanks mate that’s a great idea!
Second time watching this video. You guys work so well together. You tackle each challenge as it comes. Brilliant! A question guys for you guys? Any chance of hooking up a hitch to your four-wheel drive truck and changing tires of the chipper that work? Your thoughts. Love you guys❤ Sending much love from Richmond, VA Jim, Harriet and Yuki
Bea, if you Love Roses, try planting some Sweet Williams & Elephant ear garlic in with them. The sent is amazing. Once they start blooming all's you need to do is stand in amongst them and you won't need deodorant or perfume.
Your helmet dream was hilarious. 😂
I think I might have use the tractor and a pallet to move the chipper into the orchard
Bea, you should be using all those fallen leaves in all the garden beds. Best fertilizer ever all for free. Put a ton on all those branches in that raised bed. So happy for you to be feeling back to n😅real after so long. Glad the surgery did the trick. 🎉🎉❤❤
Theo and his tools amazing 🤩
Your laughter is such joy!! I stopped watching when you were having your life tipped upside down and i just couldnt bear to watch.
This is so happy to know you are full of wonder for life again. ❤️ you will conquor
Welldone guys & so good to see Gingie Bead ❤️🙋🏻♀️🇦🇺🙏🏻
Bea...I love it that you care about the critters. I live in an old farmhouse and have many uninvited spiders which i catch and release outside. Kudos to you❤
Great to see you both back on form.loved Bs apple crumble vlog
Bee you are looking good these days❤
Put a couple of those root balls into the new pond. It'll provide nice protection for the small fish.
Hi from New Zealand.i have a chipper has a 6hp Honda motor .great machine up to 70mm diameter wood.use a lot for cut branches.made in NZ
Sounds ace!
Gingey at the end ❤❤
Try propping your hand under her back and scratch and massage it, when she's showing her belly. That's the way A lot of cats scratch their backs. It's more a back thing as a belly thing 😊
Also Bee, you look so fabulous. So inspiring to see how energetic and positive you're now ❤
Also, you guys inspired me to pickup some jobs that I've been putting off for way to long in the garden too, thanks!
Theo has the right tool for everything!
Great video, Bea and Theo - lots of small bucket list projects knocked off!😍🇨🇦
i agree with you regarding putting all your scraps back into the garden. I have been doing that for quite some time, however I've just moved so need to get myself back into it. Thanks for the reminder
I so enjoy your videos. Bee, it's so nice to see you enjoying life. Love you guys.
Theo I do wish that you would use the ROPS when you’re driving the tractor, if it ever went over you would not survive, please put them up buddy, and is that pile of pine needles save in a pile , I don’t want them to spontaneously ignite and cause a fire, that’s the last thing you two need . Keep safe and healthy good luck with your farm it’s very nice I’m envious of you guys.
True about the pine needles, the tree next door spontaneously combusted in front of our eyes!
Cracking on with it with great gusto. Great jobs in this, chipping away
Now you see Theo did a Great job blowing out the chippings🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
You guys are so amazing!!
Just wondering have you sold your other property?
Your property on Miracle Mountain looks so nice, so much work has been done since you moved there
A lot of hard work. 😊😊😊💕💕💕🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Bee and Theo I know you miss the off grid shower but days like this I bet you are jumping for joy to get into an electric one 😅
Continued to be amazed at the size of the property you have to maintain! Another happy video. Glad you guys are healthy and happy. Thank you
Theo and Bea in Ireland every year we have Ploughing Championships I think Theo you would be the ideal candidate to give demonstration on how all your machines work. At the moment we are doing thinnings in our Forest How are your Cats
Imao… your introduction of squarespace was suddenly interrupted by two YT commercials…
A new phenomenon… commercial in a commercial…😂😂😂❤
Good to her your voice and laugh Bea
That is funny about the helmet. Yes, I would be thoroughly checking it after the dream.
great vid on channel thanks lee
Really enjoyed the video , I could watch one every night and not get fed up ❤❤
Peach wood chips .....in the BBQ !!!
Yasssss
I love collecting rocks around the farm also 🎉
I wondered about the plans on the old stone house when you passed on your way to the orchard, is there any progress?
I like your new-ish intro. Short and sweet!
Good progress in cleaning up the place Bee and Theo♦
Clear plexiglass for the back of the cab will work really good
Work must feel more like play in paradise. You kids are blessed as is Miracle Mountain. You make it fun to watch you both . I did find it impossible to move my ponds and some of the biggest rocks collections. For you though Ooo pine nuts to boot. Gourmets in many respects as You do have good taste. 🙂
For the most part you are spot on with filling those beds of yours. But.. (you knew it was coming) voice of experience - food scraps can and do bring in rats, encourage racoons and other animals. If the beds aren't close enough to your house or mechanical equipment (even your vehicles) can be damaged by nesting animals as well as chewed wiring, etc. Just be watchful. Since you've been doing it for a year you may feel like it's fairly safe but might be worth a camera when you add the scraps.
That was alot of work. Well done.
I just love following you so much!! ☮️💜🇨🇦
You guys really ROCK it❤❤ from Malaysia 🥰🏆🏆
It’s so nice to see you both radiate happiness! God bless!
Best giggle of my day ... Bea getting to smell herself and realizing she needs a deodorant change ... LOL !!!!
Get a Big Bag or two in the back of the tipper to catch your chippings.
Just rig it up with some bungie cords xx
Yes I even use small logs/branches in my large plant containers as well as my raised bed. And all of my kitchen scapes go into my raised beds also.. it is easier than having a compost pile especially where I live where we do not get a lot of rain.
Theo could probably make up a canvas screen to add around the UTV to contain all of the chippings and prevent them from filling up the Cab....LOL
So happy to see you on your beautiful property and extremely JEALOUS!!! 😍😍😍
Or mount the chipper on your rear a frame on the tractor !
Be careful where you put the wood chipping because in a fire they can become fuel for bushfire. We get warned in Australia about this.
Need a carry-all for the back of the tractor 🙂Then you won't need a towbar for the chipper plus will have a universal carry platform on the tractor
Bee & Theo, use those wood chips but beware of the unavoidable earwigs that will certainly find your lovely piles. Great work. 🌞 ❤
I watch many homesteaders and they use the chicks to make and maintain compost beds for them. Do you use chicken manure for your compost beds? We used to buy it to mix in and it worked wonderfully when planting. 😊😊😊 so nice to see the family out and about the farm again.❤❤ Aloha from Maui.
Thanks for the comment! Yes I use a mixture of all the animal left overs 🤣 another thing on the list of things to do is build a compost bin, in fact quite a few around the place, for items like the animal bedding, poop, our food etc as at the moment the chicken and goat bedding along with poop isn’t in a ‘designated’ spot and our food waste goes to the chickens or in my empty garden bed ❤️
@@theindieprojects, a couple of families I follow say that rabbit manure is the very best for composting. I’ve never had a rabbit, so I have no idea.
