You're absolutely right, I love listening to him telling stories of the industry's past. I guess I deeply respect his being able to carve a spot for himself as a heel which was very much needed as opposition to those rising babyface giants of Austin and Rock

Him talking about how he introduced the Pedigree reminds of one of Steve Austin's podcasts with Heyman about people being too scared to really think for themselves or push back against bad ideas. Triple H knew the Pedigree was good but WWF wanted him to do a different move. He wasn't sure about it but gave it a try. I’m sure everyone in that business has something they’d like to erase at some point in time because certain things don’t age well. We see it in film, television and literature. On camera and behind the scenes. Mark Henry has the right to feel how he feels and so does Booker T. I’m a fan of those guys too. It takes time to grow out of old habits and behaviors and some take longer than others. So I don’t hold a grudge over Shawn and Hunter. They’re all hard working guys who’ve dedicated to their lives to the art of pro wrestling and put the necessary time and effort in to hone their skills for it. 4:22 I've heard so many guys say that about that era. 'Go to WWF, Vince will make you a star'. And he did.....WWF had a ridiculous amount of talent that they built up themselves, and pushed all the guys that left WCW and came to them to greater things in their careers....Chris Jericho, Eddie Guerrero, Chris Benoit, Big Show. They made so many stars. Which is why its so baffling as to why they get it so wrong in the current era. Its hard to believe its the same company that gave us the attitude era, then Ruthless Aggression... its been a steady decline since then.
