I used to work in a veterinary hospital and we had a patient named Midnight. She was a cat who had been treated for diabetes for longer than I had been working there. Maybe a few years, the cat had struggled and she was in all the time because she’d get sick again and again. Every time, the vets would test her blood sugar and treat her accordingly. The last time she came in she was on her way to the grave. Like usual, the doctor tested and he would get the same results. But this particular day, the doctor had a ‘hunch’ and he told me not to treat her. For whatever reason he had, he insisted that the cat was not diabetic and asked me to give her TLC. I did what he asked and he kept her for observation. In the morning, the cat was well. It’s like what people consider a miracle. He tested her again and all her blood work came back normal and she (to my knowledge as long after as I worked there) was well. When you talked about nocebo and placebo, it made me think of that even though it was a cat.
There is black magic and it really can influence peoples lives. But it is a whole other issue that focusing your attention on it you feed energetically the black magic intervention. Some people seek low energy interactions, others are naturally drawn by the state of peace and bliss and higher dimensions. Denying something is not a way to make it disappear.
There is no "Black or White" in magic (witchcraft) its only in the meaning we put in 2 it...n yes a person can be possessed on both sides meaning Divine (good) or Demoniac (bad) 👼

I believe Mr Chopra is confused between the meaning of Witchcraft and Wicca. One is a pretty old practice that dates back to shamanism and the other is a (neo) pagan religion. He clumped both as being spawn from mythology. Though there is truth to his statement to some extent. But as far as the origin of Witchcraft, there is a clear distinction between the practice of magick or occultism and someone worshiping the moon and the seasons as an example. Witchcraft is a craft. It is stated plainly in its title whether you believe in it or not. Theoretically it is the forcing ones will (will working) by using external tethers to internal energy (chi, ki, prana [same thing] and the catalyst that feeds the energy to you) or external energies or forces such as entities or psychic constructs like egregors or servitors. It is a very fascinating subject which he seems to know little to nothing at all about. The mans hubris is sputtering generalizations with no actual research on the subject of witchcraft. Philosophy is not witchcraft. Placebo is not witchcraft. Ridiculous. In theory it takes practice for your beliefs to shape you and what you want in an external sense (hence the practice of the craft) only to an extent internally would be easier for most people to accomplish. Read into Hermeticism as a starting point, if this subject interests you. Do your own research otherwise. I am not pontificating witchcraft, nor am I stating that it is real, but just know about it fully before passing judgment on what it is.
