Good luck young fella and i can relate in many ways to you and your line of work. I am a heavy equipment operator and maintenance foreman here in NYC who has had 3 back operations over the past 27 yrs. Some words of advice is NO JUMPING down off equipment and other then that you'll spend your life not understanding what triggers spasms or crappy days or weeks to come. Good news is you're young and smart and live a somewhat normal life contrary to what some say who never had back operations.
man back problems suck (bean there) get a good bed and seat for your service truck your in them most of your life. love the show keep up the good work.
Yeah ZK I really enjoy watching these videos. Sorry to hear of your back surgery and I pray it heals and you'll be able to do as much as you were. Oh & happy Thanksgiving
New to the channel. The videos are great. Love the detail and the explanation and the level of care you should the Deere customer. Hope you back pain gets well soon.
Neat look - I would have liked ti have seen the unit split. I use to work on rock trucks and would split them to replace the turning rings.. Thanks for the video
Very new to your channel I'm based in England I'm a tractor mech from the 80s and 90s. Ford 10series tw20 , fw60. Not sure ov your age..🤔 thinks have come on a long way in 30 yrs. 😎😎 Cool videos.
Awesome videos. Both informative and entertaining. If possible, could you give repair hours breakdown of you and assistant on the projects, as well as overall cost of repair.
@@ZKMasterTech thanks for the response. Although disappointing, I understand. I just found your channel a week or so ago and I’m hooked, thanks for the great content.
Hello I have a problem with an 8285R ivt that ever one’s in wile it puts in calibration mode and it wouldn’t go out of calibration mode what could be the problem?
Zeth. Just curious if you guys have a way of bench testing that transmission before you reinstall it in the tractor. Also, say hello to the Adcock Brothers for me, they’ll recognize my last name.
So an IVT is like an automated manual with a planetary set and a big hydraulic pump? It doesn’t have a torque converter so does it go into neutral when you stop the tractor or is there something im missing?
ZK, I need your help, I have a 7280R ivt, it runs for about 3 hours and then it slows down and after a minute or 2 it goes back to work. 2 red cans were changed, the technicians here have no idea where to look. Thanks a lot
If the synchro was failed, they would have under the pip, or we could of warrantied it under the power guard warranty but it looked perfect so there was no need.
Man I hear you, I’ve had my share of back surgeries. But… did you know that one of the main causes of back problems is heavy metal rock music?? Lol. You need to listen to some nice calming classical music. Or not lol.
I used to be an ASE mastertech for gm/Chrysler. That's how I started my career. I know all about being under a dash so I'm allowed to make fun of Auto techs cuz I used to be one. Being an auto tech was a peice of cake compared to this job.
I like your video content and the information you pass on however the music is too much! Way better to just talk or have nothing rather than that loud obnoxious noise. If it keeps up I’m not staying around - sorry.
Amazing music and video. Thank you
I'm utterly amazed at your knowledge as young men!
Thank you! You're too kind.
Sorry to here of your back surgery.
Hope you have a healthy recovery and do not over do it!
Thanks. So far so good. It definitely helped me tremendously but going through it was miserable.
Give me a robust clutch and a six speed transmission any day. You have a wealth of knowledge and impressive skills -- smarter not harder"

Hello I have a problem with an 8285R ivt that ever one’s in wile it puts in calibration mode and it wouldn’t go out of calibration mode what could be the problem?
Great video.
Thank you sir! Watch my other IVT video I just uploaded. I think you'll like that one.
Zeth your wyo tech grad how compare this trans to the zf transmission ou the loaders
Zeth. Just curious if you guys have a way of bench testing that transmission before you reinstall it in the tractor.
Also, say hello to the Adcock Brothers for me, they’ll recognize my last name.
Just upgraded to a R4060 sprayer any videos on sprayers?
So an IVT is like an automated manual with a planetary set and a big hydraulic pump? It doesn’t have a torque converter so does it go into neutral when you stop the tractor or is there something im missing?
I am thinking exchange program, but the bean counters would stop it
how does transmission work. isit powershift and hydro between clutch packs shifts
Great job thanks
I've done 2 in the 7r's!

The only way i could help you is if i physically could lay hands on it to do pressure checks.
Are IVT transmissions very problematic? In your opinion what transmission would you recommend for someone updating tractors? E23 or IVT?
E23 is great. But I still like IVT.
what does the hydro unit do
الله يعطيك الصح
Enjoy the content but wow is that music LOUD !
I have adjusted the volumes in my future videos down.
Your opinion what do u think is the best transmission option for the 8rs?
I like e23 the best
You don't have to remove the front cover off to inspect shifter!
Hey Zeth how come Deere don't just renew that syncro while you're in there. It's not like a ten minute job getting to it?
If the synchro was failed, they would have under the pip, or we could of warrantied it under the power guard warranty but it looked perfect so there was no need.
*hi sir 😊 i like your videos 😊 please make a video of johndeere tractor lifting capacity 😊 try to lift weight as much as tractor can lift 😊 thanksss*
He won't like it when that pry bar slips and smacks him in the dome lol
LOL if only he did that on camera, we’d all be laughing.
Man I hear you, I’ve had my share of back surgeries. But… did you know that one of the main causes of back problems is heavy metal rock music?? Lol. You need to listen to some nice calming classical music. Or not lol.
Ha “I bet an auto tech couldn’t do this” I’d like to see you on your back underneath a dash for a period of time...
I used to be an ASE mastertech for gm/Chrysler. That's how I started my career. I know all about being under a dash so I'm allowed to make fun of Auto techs cuz I used to be one. Being an auto tech was a peice of cake compared to this job.
