Happy new year Doc Gary. Just to share how I lost 15 kilos. I did it slowly in a year. From 85 kilos down to 60kilos. This time I am fluctuating between 60 to 65 kilos. I lessened my rice intake to 1/4 of a plate and rarely take in between snacks. If I feel like eating more, I substitute it with unripe boiled saba banana. Success Doc!!!

Please can you discuss about hypothyroidism.Since birth I’m overweight and it is very hard for me to lose weight. I have condition of hypothyroidism and I myself is a nurse but I did not check my TFT for long. I’m busy looking after patient but forget about myself.I learned a lot from you.I’d rather watch your program than to read because I could easily understand and at the same time, enjoy.Thank you DOC. Hello Doc Gary, Thank you po ulit for sharing us about how to get slimmer. actually I was eating when I received the notification of your video. I had quite much food on the table and I ate them all, but what I'm doing now is, to keep standing until my tummy goes back to normal size, due to overeating my tummy now looks like 6 months pregnant. 🤣. but seriously, Thank you po again for all the reminders on how to maintain our body
with a good condition. many of us including my self need someone like you Doc to remind and give us tips to what food needs to be avoided and what is not and what to do and what is don't.

I was able to maintain my weight since ng 60 years old nko from 110 to 115 lbs up to now.My height is 5'2 which shows I'm not over weight, I'm taking warm fresh boiled chopped ginger with lemon for more than a year since April, 2020. Drinking a hot cup of this juice before breakfast and after dinner I'm taking light sodas or light junk foods if there's only special occasions.

What worked for me was I shifted my focus from losing weight to getting healthy. I started with 15 minutes of exercise then worked my way up to half an hour with light weights. When the weather was warm, I would walk outside for a mile.
As for my eating, I didn’t think of it as “diet”. I ate everything but in moderation. I didn’t see any weight loss until the 3rd month. It was disappointing in the beginning but I kept going because it made me feel good.
It has been a year and I’ve lost almost 20 lbs. My asthma is better controlled. I’ve hardly had to use my albuterol. I sleep well now and can keep up with the daily stresses of life 😊
