It looks to me like Kurt Cobain let his hair grow from the 70s I just left it like that while everyone else in the 80s were doing their hair all fancy and over done he just let his 70s haircut grow
There’s a scene in Montage of Heck where Courtney is pregnant and cutting Kurt’s freshly dyed shoulder length blond hair paring it down to what we see at the 92 VMAs. I’ve been in that apartment! (Spaulding)

You think Kurt's decision to rock the bowl cut was a conscious one. People associated grunge, along with the long, unkempt hair to the culture connected to it - heroin. He had to metaphorically and literally clean up his act because of the whole Vanity Fair article threatening his chances at parenthood. Maybe marketing had a bit to do with it as well. So he (by force) was clean throughout the summer/early fall and put on a bit of weight.

Just curious but what would you recommend to get the layers that Kurt had from the 1991 Paramount show? Right now my hair is kinda like the length that Kurt had when he had brown hair. But dude I’ve just stopped cutting my hair because every time I go to get a trim they always cut it way too short and I have to start all over again. But because of that now, it just poofs out too much, kinda like Krist’s hair from 1990 when he was growing it out

@@diegogchaconi would for sure. just search up a tutorial and go for it making sure it looks decent after each cut (you can always cut more but never less). that way you can exactly what you want. also most of kurts hairstyles are shaggy and messy so..

@@diegogchaconI wouldn't be daring enough to cut my own hair. I'd use refference photos and go to hair cutter and ask for what the photo looks like.
