From what I am seeing this is taking much much longer! See regular steam iron boxes.
1) They have vertical steam burst functions. Or you can hold the steam iron vertically and do this. Phillips's latest models come with this function. As such already steam iron boxes also function as this hand-held steamer, the issue being it's too heavy since it is an iron box.
2) Will cover a much larger area too. This will also take time since you need to fill it with water carefully every time (Cause after each use you need empty it out and keep it dry)
3) Steam irons also give a better press and one-swipe wrinkle-free finish. You need to go multiple times over this. With this, the arm will get tired soon. With the iron board and iron box at the proper height, your hips and arms won't hurt. This can be for a quick refresh. Not an iron finish
4) We can't use this on sarees. It will take way too long. Plus can't pre-pleat, since the pleats need to be pressed with iron. Most office-going ladies use sarees. As such this is not a product I would recommend for them. Like how will they iron sarees with this? This has too many disadvantages.
5) As for your point about ironing anything with stones/embroidery, Just get the saree net. They sell it on Instagram. Place it over the material and just hold the steam iron box atop the clothes. The steam will simply relax the wrinkles in the stone areas like your handheld steamer is doing. And the rest of the object-free area of the fabric can be ironed out. Steamer Iron Box has more advantages than this does.
