Had to put this into practice at work. A colleague was asking me why I didn’t multitask and I plainly said to him it’s easy to get confused, which is true. I work in a lab and we analyse patient samples so mistakes can be critical and have effects on the patient’s outcomes.
Being able to focus for long periods of time and pay attention to detail is vital for my work.
As a short form creator you can really get brain strain from transferring a dozen of tabs and researching for a content, editing the video and etc. It really worked for me to do boring things or doing nothing for an hour or two to reset, just starring outside looking at the tress and stuff worked for me, and the continue work afterwards when you feel your mind isn't straining anymore. A power nap is beneficial too.

Easy fix for a better attention span. Get a basic cellphone that can only text and make calls, no apps.
No social media sites, period.
Limit computer use to as needed. Stay away from youtube and the like.
Do your shopping in person, avoid amazon and the like.
Read books. Start easy, such a s graphic novels and comics, and work your way up to titles that genuinely interest you.
Go for walks in silence or with friends if it helps to allow your mind to process things.
Do that for a year. You're attention span will be solid.
Dont feel bad if you stumble, acknowledge the mistake, accept it, move on and get back to it. Be mindful of yourself, seek help from friends and family, and know that it will be difficult, but doable.

I do gig work where I am available all day for work but jobs come in at a random pace. So I fill the time with stuff like watching Improvement Pill. And I find my attention span is near zero for things I'd really like to devote time to.
How do you fix that? Seems like it's unfixable by the very nature of the circumstances.
I know people with sporadic and unpredictable work like that. You don't need things to happen at the same time of day, you just need to decide to put away X amount of time a day.
Little perspective change, and you'll see it is a case of doing what you can when you have the time. Sometimes that little, sometimes it's a lot. Choosing to indulge in something is a tough and active change at first, you have to stay conscious, it makes you tired and bored. But if you keep a little notebook, you can track how long you do things. You'll find the truth in the data, it will grow, you will spend more time focusing on what you want.
I know this because I have made myself focused and then given back in time and time again, like a guy who puts on weight and loses it again. It's hard in today's world, if I was locked in a cabin - it'd be easy. Just like when we were children and didn't have much access to things. I feel bad for the kids of today with iPads and mobile phones rotting their brain from early on.
I probably have ADHD cause without jingle jingles, I can't listen to this for too long 😂
