- This is my first ever highlight video consisting of footage that's never made it's way into a video yet. These clips have been from the last several months and include mahi, shibi, ono, uku, ulua, kahala, and kawakawa caught with either live bait or on the jig. I’m almost always trolling with live bait. Mainly to feed my jigging habit 😆otherwise if I stay still, I run the risk of the live bait tangling with my jig 🤣

I’ve tried a few different weights but have narrowed it down to 3. For my heavy setup I run 50
For my slow pitch in perfect conditions I run 40, in less than perfect conditions I may run 25lb. I rarely run 25lb anymore though because I’ve been encountering a lot of kahala down deep.
