    Javon Baker not even making the honourable mentions. F. 56:20, there he is! Maybe I missed him in the intro, my bad if so.

      If I did honorable mentions it was an accident leaving him out, I think he’s a second round pick.

      As a Jaguars fan who desperately wants a #1 WR, I agree. I expect to be disappointed. Unfortunately, I’m used to being let down by this team.

    Idk if I have tez walker in my top 10 but before senior bowl he was for sure in there I mean he has consistent production for only playing 8 games and he has speed and decent route running. I really think he had some great stuff at senior bowl too I mean he got open he just dropped easy catches which hurts to see. But so much potential especially if we can get him in the third, I like pearsall better than him but I like him over everyone else u named after him just think his ceiling could be unreal

    • @cardiacatsbrand
      @cardiacatsbrand  Месяц назад

      Yeah, Pearsall is an easy argument over him, but I just put Walker above because I think his ceiling is higher and it just depends on bringing him in slowly. Pearsall should be a beast from the first day.

    Xavier legette is the pick trade up in second round grab him he will be wr1

  • @lucacavasin9885
    @lucacavasin9885 Месяц назад

    I’d rather chase a Polk or pearsall that I have a good floor on to be a wr2 than a Coleman or BTJ to be a wr1 and them not work out. I also agree so much about BTJ and ad going too high I can 100% see them being wr1s and dominating but there is just potential with both and I’d rather take a good DT or corner that will help my team a ton more with a first round pick

  • @TheJoedanimal

    Look I like Tez, but 49th overall is really rich, I get the ceiling and think you're on point with the fit, but especially compared to some of the guys behind him he's just not ready. Lets not forget, we were really in for Ridley, so wouldn't we realistically want a receiver who can play (what we thought) that Ridley role would be in this offense? Why would we instead be looking to replace Zay with a guy who's all tools and no consistency, when we should be looking for that legit guy, the likes of which Pearsall or Polk could be immediately in the league.
    Also disagree heavily on Worthy. You say it yourself, we knew he was fast, we didn't know he was THAT fast. That's new information, not counting the trait twice. Even if he puts on a little weight (which he can being so young) he's still probably running a sub 4.3, and unlike the kinda guys that have come before him with that speed, he is a real receiver. And a legit receiver with that kinda speed could end up being the next damn Tyreek Hill in my eyes. With that ceiling I like him quite a bit more than AD. We wanna talk breaking a tackle? AD can't break a tackle to save his life! At 200+ running a 4.33! This is a 95th percentile athlete who spent time at two top programs, with no YAC ability, limited production, and terrible advanced stats, not to even mention his diva reputation. I think part of the evaluation has to be asking why that is, and taking that into account for his projection. I wouldn't touch him until at least WR10.

    "I would love to get MHJ but seems unlikely. Nabers I think would fit best no doubt so would be worth the trade up. For some reason I dont see Odunze in our system but wouldnt hurt. Still think what might be best is stay and grab BTJ or move back a bit for AD Mitchell and move up to grab Kool-aid. Then best available OL (preferably) or DL in the 3rd (if we manage to keep one). Wouldnt hate it if we did get a kicker later on."
    Twas my previous comment but right now I feel Im all in on Nabers...(Harrison would be great but not holding my breath for him) But have Davis as our 'X' and have Kirk & Nabers alternate as 'Z n Y' just sounds beautiful. Making slight change to #17 but both scenarios would be ok. Mayhap other direction is get Q. Mitchell and trade up for AD. Mitchell.
    Ready for the Draft!! Bet we go OL.

    Our rankings look much different, mainly because I base my rankings specifically on the Jag's MUST need for a #1 WR, so I have slot receivers ranked a lot lower on my list. The only slot guy I really could not ignore was Luke McCaffrey, because I see him as the next Cooper Kupp or Puka Nacua type player. I also do not get the love for Ladd McConkey. Admittedly, I am not a metrics guy. Those things don't sway me one bit. I just look at the tape and to me, he just doesn't stand out. I see him as "just a guy." That's just my opinion and I know I'm in the minority. Maybe I'm wrong. It wouldn't be the first time. Just a note. My top 4 WR's are in my top 10 overall players and MHJ, Oduze and Nabers are my top 3 overall players. This is the best WR class at the top, that I have ever seen. Anyway, here is how I have them ranked.
    1. Marvin Harrison Jr.
    2. Rome Odunze
    3. Malik Nabers
    4. Brian Thomas Jr.

      My rankings are based on a general perspective, I don't weight players based on how they fit in Jacksonville. That said, there would be players I may skip on the big board if they make no sense for a selection such as you mentioned with slot receivers.

    • @cardiacatsbrand
      @cardiacatsbrand  Месяц назад

      Came in way under the weight I expected and then didn’t impress enough in the 40 yard dash imo. I think he’s now a slot and there’s some really good ones that had to go higher.

  • @lucacavasin9885
    @lucacavasin9885 Месяц назад

    I just don’t see Coleman being good in the league unless he is out as a power slot without separation ur qb won’t want to throw to you and it’s not like he makes 50/50 throws like 80/20 for himself like he has great hands but I just don’t see him being productive. I think pearsall and Polk are higher for me cause they have shown production and Polk being a young get prospect and having tons of production makes me feel like he’s way too low on ppls boards

    • @cardiacatsbrand
      @cardiacatsbrand  Месяц назад

      I'm a big fan of Polk, I just didn't get him in the top 10. He's 16th right now but I think that's definitely gonna change when I go back through the next time before the draft.

    • @jayshupp5971
      @jayshupp5971 Месяц назад

      The hate is based off his lack of performance during Senior Bowl week. If you watched the practices and the game, you’d know it was justified. With that said, I genuinely hope he does turn out to be a good pro. I wouldn’t touch him though, because Senior Bowl week just left a very bad impression on me.
