    • @davidcici11Evolution
      @davidcici11Evolution Год назад +185

      This part is actually more understandable it was just never explained. Killing Jon, would of resulted in a rise up. Note the North has the biggest Army in the lands. They can also include the Vale and other kingdoms that would be loyal to the Starks along the way. Killing Jon with there commander being dead (Queen Daneary) , being on foreign lands where you would be out maneuvered out flanked and you wouldn't have a singular purpose or would lose all political design to really serve a purpose unless you wanted to raid or pillage these new lands (speaking mainly of the Dothraki) If that was to happen then the rest of Westeros would rise up against you and not just the North. Without Danny the unsullied/ Dothraki lacked structure and ultimately a plan and goal for their next moves. They were pretty much left wonderless. Killing Jon would of ended in more bloodshed and would of ended up probably ending Danny remaining armies.
      Note Dothraki are great without dragons but I am not sure they could take on the North and the Vale. All armies included lost a lot I think it is relatively wise for them to just keep Jon as a hostage until they could come up with a solution. Giving how bloodthirsty Grey worm was ever since missandeia died I am surprised he was level headed enough to not instinctfully kill Jon. He was essentially egging Jon on the last two episodes to fight him. I think the showrunners wanted to add a scene of them coming to blows but they decided to take it out.

    I found it quite disturbing that Bran sent Jon Snow back to the Wall to serve in the Night's watch. Jon is the one who was responsible for saving everyone from the Night King and his army of the dead!! Bran probably also knew that Jon was going to kill Dany, and why, so he should never have punished Jon, not because he is his brother, but because of all Jon had to go through, from coming back to life after being stabbed to death by the men of the Watch, to bring the Wildlings together to fight with them, to getting one of the dead soldiers to prove to Cersei of their existence, to getting Danys help with the Night King's Army, helping her get the support of all of the Lords who ended up fighting for and with her against Cersei, and even convincing his own sisters to bend the knee to her and support her. Jon had every intention of supporting her claim to the throne, until she made her speech after defeating Cersei and burning down the city, killing so many innocent people. She wasnt happy with that outcome, she wanted to conquer the world after taking over Kings Landing! He couldnt see any end to her warmongering, and her desire to just take over the world!

Also yeah... the more I think about it... the more I realize Bran never left that cave.... the three eyed raven killed bran and used his body as a vessel.... to assume his ultimate goal... power... absolute control on the events to come.... he grew tired of watching stories unfold... now he wants to forge them himself...

      Not for long, granting independence to the north must have been the dumbest idea bran ever had. Because what if the other 6 kingdoms decided "hey we want our independence too". The Iron Islands wanted independence when they sided whith daenerys but she refused. The moment bran granted independence to the north all of the other lords should ask as well. Especially the prince of Dorne. The dornish were never conquered. They decided to join like a 150 years after the conquest. Not a single lord would accept a Stark as a King if the north is not a part of their kingdom.

And the little girl jumping out of nowhere to kill the night King was absolute garbage. It was really bad and anybody who thinks it is good, really needs to do some serious soul-searching because you might not have one. Also they have Jaime Lannister go through that entire character Arc only to run back to his sister and die with her in the collapsing Castle was lame. Cersei deserved a more humiliating death.
