Welcome to tier 1 status Japan! RWC 2019 wasn't just a fluke. What an excellent game.
Japan is not ridiculous, it's a very good level, i hope they progess. Good game.
The hits Harris was putting in 👌
When we beat Australia we looked awesome.
Japan made us look rather ordinary here. They could have nicked it.
They are a fine side.
Harris loosing his shorts at 03:38 must have got him angry because he started putting in the big hits
Scotland has got there revenge from the rugby World Cup 2019
スコットランドは強いね。日本頑張れ!
Some strange reffing in this game too. It generally felt like he was giving Japan every opportunity to get a win. All the 50/50s going to Japan. It feels like the rule was, if I can justify it, I'll give it. Someone penalties at the breakdown given within a second. Particularly the not rolling away being interpreted as not rolling away in the direction I'd like you to.
Its the red jersey. The ref thought Japan were Wales.
Hogg is a brilliant runner....
this is the first time i've ever seen rugby being played.
i'm 32 years old
Love how the Japanese play - at pace, always going straight with ball held out reading to pass, put men in space - and tackle really really well. Really well coached. Fit. Don't cheat (like the ahem All Blacks). Brilliant to watch.
How do the All Blacks cheat? Would like to see a video of them doing it if you have one handy, thanks.
moron
Good match the islanders
Should never be THAT close when you win the try count 4-1. Lots to work on, especially the line out.
That was partially due to Scotland kicking to the corner and Japan kicking for points
Penalties
The Autumn Red & Yellow Card Tests continue!
Why was it a Japanese lineout at 11.15? I can't see a Scotland player touch it before it goes out - am I missing something obvious?
New rule. Kick it from your own half, bounce in 22, then in to touch equals your own line out
new 50 / 20 rule
@@johnpollock7952 Oh, I didn't know; thanks
@@jameswallace1141 50 / 22
What will they think of next?
Japan should be proud of this game, they gave the Welsh a good run for their money.
Japan has a long way to go to improve their tackle
Well played Japan
More penalties from tackles for the Blossoms, but it may have been fair if Scotland indeed tried to slow the game too much.
Any accusation of cheating has to be put down by the Scottish try awarded in spite of being created by an obvious forward pass at 05:11 (3 or 4 meters forward !!).
Japan felt clumsy from these highlights : less fluent and fast than in the World Cup. Maybe they're trying to become a more standard rugby team and it has not been completely worked out so far ?
euh a 79min50 fin de match ????
"van de Merwe can you believe it.... the winger picks and goes when usually". . . bruh that's a South African boertjie, there's a reason Faf is tackling number 1s and 2s from up north like it's nothing
14:32 whats the ref doing telling Scotland 'thats time'? Either sick to your job or kick it out for them!
Like when he kept telling them, you've got advantage
nice
These European teams are allowed to get away with professional fouls when it comes to Japan or Island Teams
Scotland always gives away too many penalties. Most of the opposition points come from penalties.
Japan please you can't win games kicking three points why didn't you employ the lineouts and use it to implement set piece you scored from a lineout , be a little more adventurous you'll need in the RWC next year , Jamie Joseph there was every opportunity to win this game
japian do you mean😃
Japan looking like they are playing highschool rugby. No set moves, no plan. Just fast through the hands and hope for a gap.
Japan has no attack plan that they think they can win from only penalty kick
The plan is : we advance and if we happen to reach the end zone it's good for us. Ahah you're right not enough to win. They lack tactic, power, size, they are not mature. Scottish went easy on them honestly but they are improving for sure.
Not a lot of Japanese looking players more Fiji, Tonga, Samoa
I was thinking the same about the Scottish team? Irish. Welsh. And some English as well.🤔🤔
@@section5760 you are aware there's no real distinct way to separate the appearance of Irish, Scots, English, and Welsh 🤣🤣🤣
Yes, Van Der Merwe is a classic Scottish name right?
@@Epost86 Descended from the early Dutch settlers in Edinburgh and Fife. They came over with the Hamburgers who went to the Borders.
@@davidw.robertson448 IDK if you're taking the piss or not, but Duhan Van Der Merwe was born in South Africa.
Mauls should be banned.
Japan is too cowardly to win, always taking the safe penalty instead of kicking for touch, that wasn’t the case in their great victories
They're anything but cowards.
I think it’s always smart to go for the easy 3 points instead of risking for a try. Going for a try could have turn out good or bad for them. But Japan are a great team with good potential to be a top tear rugby nation
Yeah, sure thing Einstein.
Scottish defence is really tough these days just watch some of there games this year first half against SA prime example of why Japan didn't feel comfortable kicking to the corner. And we were giving away too much penalties it's am obvious choice we've had a discipline issues all autumn
Someone didn't see the Brighton miracle
