It's annoying that commentators say he "wasn't the same player last year", without acknowledging that defenses were able to completely bracket him in because Pat didn't have any other targets until Rice stepped up. I also suspect Travis was nursing a few injuries. The way he was able to come back and dominate in the post-season suggests that the Bye week had a huge impact on his fitness.
