There is no virtue in wearing a mask if you don’t have a communicable disease. If one of them does, they are the only one of them that should be wearing a mask.
We can agree to disagree on this one. However, I'd say that since we have a platform, using it to promote consideration of others and general safety given the current world situation, seems like a good and responsible thing to do.
I'm glad to see that this game finally gets to Edward's table. This is the one 18xx game that I own, and it is still one of my all time favorites. And yes, I still have a copy at my home. I just wish I could play this game more often. I also appreciate that your gang played safely. My local game store has started to offer safe social gaming with smaller table sizes plus larger tables. So I am used to gaming with masks. Kudos to the herd!
I'm thrilled! I played this at a con in Los Angeles, back in the late 80s or early 90s. I loved it, but it was a prototype, not available in stores. I've never seen it since, until just now. I've got to track down a copy, somewhere!
It had one print run in 1995. It’s a bit tricky to track down, and you’ll probably pay over $100 if you do. The boardgamegeek marketplace often has copies for sale.
Hello guys, I just used your video to learn how to play the game since I got a copy at a flee market in Switzerland. Its my first 18xx game and at that time I didn't know what great catch I made. I just wonder, after I went through the rules it says that the companies are divided in groups A, B and C and I have to found all companies of the previous group before I can found one from the next. Thus VP schould have been founded before OPC for example. Am I right? Did you differ from that rule on purpose? BR from Germany
Safe get together! Very happy to see you guys get together responsibly. Appreciate the spiel at the start
Also appreciate the effort to lead by example re masks and responsible gaming. Good stuff!

Joe H taught me 2038 almost 20 years ago. Great video. Thanks for the trip down memory lane.

Do they have herder in space ?
"Must buy a sheep"
This is an old game version, or will be re implemented in some new version?
This is the ONLY game version. My guess is eventually a company will make a new edition, but as of now, this is all there is. Cheers!
