  • Battery from the samsung galaxy s20 fe removal and reinstallation into another s20 fe frame. The removal process of this battery is not complicated but a bit challenging.
    You can either use the heat method or use the alcohol method. You just have to drop a little bit of alcohol in the gap between the battery and the frame. This will soften the double sided tape and you can easily remove the battery.
    The removal process difficulty is near a 6 out of 10.

    Warning: This is a bad tutorial. They skipped over all the critical steps (like slicing through the back cover adhesive and removing the plastic mainboard cover), used a metal pry tool (never do that with a battery!), bent the battery way too much (risk of fire), and didn't use isopropyl alcohol to soften the battery adhesive. If you try to follow this tutorial, you will 95% destroy your phone. Therer are better tutorials here on RUclips that are safe to follow.

      Not to talk bad but you saw it went well without any issues. The video below has all the steps you were looking for. I tend to separate things to avoid making the video too long and then you guys won't watch it🙄.
      I do not know anybody who watch one tuto and jump on doing the stuff. I have maybe more than 10 videos for battery replacement with all instructions. You should have look (5sec) on the channel to see the other related videos.
      Everything is in my instructions what to do or not. It is common sense to not bend the battery too much...the fire you are talking about will happen only if you bend the battery more than 15 degrees or sooo which is clearly not necessary.
      Using alcohol can work there's a way to do it. I give the options on my instructions.

      The video title suggests that this is a video on how to replace the battery. The video should contain the necessary information to do that without having to also search for other videos. Otherwise what is the point of the video? It is great that you have other videos with more information, but they didn't show up in my search so I didn't see them and neither would other less experienced users who stumble upon this video and try to follow these incomplete instructions. So all in all this specific video is not a good tutorial on it's own and therefore is more harfull than usefull. Why do you not replace the video with the other videos you did which contain all the steps? Please don't see this as an attack, I think it is great that you are taking the time to make these videos, but with something as potentially dangerous as a battery replacement, it is important to get it right.

    • @ersbit
      @ersbit  Год назад +1

      @@jimhalpert9421 I do not see it as an attack I just gave my explanation and way I thought when I did the video.
      I made this one published yesterday...
      Always showing people what can be done or not. I show here what will happen if you puncture it to make sure I cover the actual thing instead of just saying it in videos. Next it gonna be to youtube who will see it or no.
      I take all comments as suggestions. True the video missed some parts. Got the same comment on the one I did for the Pixel 6....the removal was on another video. I just try to understand all comments and improve that's all 👍🏽

      Can be the battery or motherboard too.
      You'd need to do troubleshooting
      1- does it charge
      2-does it turn on press power bottom normally then try for 6 seconds etc....
      Then the others should be done after you open the phone, check battery check voltage, check connections etc....

    Why not use alcohol to dissolve the glue under the battery?

    • @ersbit
      @ersbit  9 месяцев назад

      You can do that too. I just found heat to be easier 😅. Also the fingerprint sensor of this particular device is covered with a small plastic that may be in contact with alcohol and the alcohol might touch the fingerprint sensor parts (that's if you add too much alcohol). Two drops on each side of the battery should be enough. If you want to make it faster combining screen heating and alcohol can do that.

      lol a Big YES....It will be ugly but functionally it should work. You would need to do some connection to accommodate the second battery. In one of my recent video about batteries I asked if people wanted to see double the battery in a S22 ultra nobody responded but I already had my idea on how to do it "theoretically" then would do my tests internally before presenting the results.
      I believe it is possible to do it.

      I remember back in the day one of my classmates had an aftermarket back cover for the Galaxy Note 2 which had an included bigger battery. It was about 3x the capacity. Back when batteries were user swappable, it was something worth marketing. These days, it would be too niche. I'd seriously consider it though. Having a phone double the thickness for a battery that lasts days.

    • @ersbit
