I’d love to see a video on the quick change nozzle. Someone on Reddit said customer service told them the entire hot end must be changed and you can’t change just the nozzle but their marketing video shows nozzle changes are easy.
Hi again. Ok now I understand. They sent you one to preview. Usually, people who get the unit sent to them disclose that fact in the beginning.. that said, I’m still glad I was an early order to get the $559 plus i had a $30 promo code. No tax and free shipping.
Thank you for your very informative videos, I also ordered the printer, but it will take a while until it arrives. It really seems to be good, it's my first 3D printer and I'm looking forward to it.
The print quality seems very good to me. I placed the order and I'm waiting. I have my bambu and it seems to print very close to the p1s. Nice videos man. Keep us updated about it
Great stuff. Very useful to hear your thoughts as you gain more experience with it. And don't think you always have to be positive about the machine -- nothing's perfect and at this price point we don't expect perfection. Would love to hear your thoughts as to any negatives as you get more experience using the machine. As others have said, one of the open questions is how reliable it's going to be print after print in the long run.
Hi there. Interesting times and thanks for the videos. 14h to go on the early bird and I'm on the verge of pulling the trigger. I have a X-Smart3 from QIDI that has gone all haywire since moving house. This has several upgrades to that one. If you could comment how well does the carbon filter reduce the PLA smell compared to an open filament printer. Mine sits in a fairly small office where I'm supposed to work a full day while printing. If the filtering works well, that alone would warrant me a purchase...
Nice video. Printer makes a good first impression. How good is the dimensional accuracy of the parts? That would be a nice follow up video. How well does it print matching pins and holes, 10x10x10 mm cubes etc. ?
Hello. Another great vid. I ordered one last week, not coming until February tho. It’s cool you have one so I can see how it is. Out of curiosity, did you order early to get it so fast? Thanks for the review!
Thanks for another video. Could you let me know about the hotend I asked anycubic an looked around but with no help. I want to know is it the same as the kobra 3, is the pipe fixed in place or removable, are they still using paste to prevent leaks
I saw in a separate video, it’s a completely new hotend. One solid piece from what I saw. Seemed like you could change the hot end one handed is a few seconds. It is seeming like they want us to be buying separate hot end and nozzle combos instead of just different nozzles
I'll try to include that in my next video! I didn't get an extra nozzle with the printer(which is surprising) I'll let you know what I find out with the extruder
Yeah when i first saw this print at first glance I thought the orange filament was some kind of purging /calibration thing, I could see the AI mistaken it for random extrusions. It does look like spaghetti but maybe they should put in a check to make sure its not the model first.
Not quite 60fps? It's like 5fps lol. Still a big improvement over the enclosed Bambus though! Thanks for the videos. I've been curious about this printer as an upgrade from P1S. I love how much quieter it seems to be. A proper noise comparison against your X1s would be awesome.
@evoikon yeah, still not high enough. I want to be able to run PEEK to print steam valve head seals. Looks like I'm still going to have finish my high temp build.
I see your spaghetti string flopping off the dragons forehead where that white not was when you first started talking about it maybe the eye idk..little one barely visible flapping around there...
Hey there, I’m a subscriber to your channel and I am wondering how you were able to get that printer for free? What do I need to do to get it for free? I have a Mingda Magician Pro2 and the Creality K1 Max and the Creality K1C , and you can see what I am making with my K1 Max and Mingda Magician Pro2.
Check out the unboxing and setup here:

Thanks for all the feedback!

Keep the videos coming! This is exciting.
I will, thanks for watching!

I might be mistaken but I thought he did in the unboxing video
Good deal! I'll make sure to mention it next time
My x1c did the same to me, first time it's ever done that

That's amazing. Welcome to the 3D printing world! This is a good first printer

Thanks! I agree about the quality. I think it's pretty good so far

Thanks for the comment! I'll be printing with it a lot. I'll let you know of any issues I run into
How nice! I wish I had one of these to replace my now inoperable Creality printers.
Looks good! Looking forward to getting mine
I hope you enjoy it!
Does the x1c have any significant advantage over it?
you can adjust the purge levels in the slicer under flushing volumes there are YT videos that show you color tests to minimize waste.
I’ll give that a try, thanks!

I'll give it a test and let you know!
How does it compare to the P1S? In terms of print quality
I think it's pretty close in quality so far

Thats next on my list! I'll give it a shot
what happens when you run out of filament in the ams? does it detect at the head or at the ams?
At the A.C.E sadly

Anycubic sends me stuff to test out early

Is this the P1S Killer?
No heat creep with the doors closed?
Didn't seem to have that issue but it's only pla so maybe if your printer at higher temps it might have some heat creep
nice! informative

Thanks for the comment! I'm thinking about starting the same prints side by side and comparing
did you pre-order this? i just placed my order was wondeirng if it's shipping earlier then the feb 5th estimate
Anycubic sends me there stuff earlier to test out
compare kobra s1 combo with bambu p1s / p1p
Any way to go to vanilla klipper? Id love one but want to upgrade to use a pt1000 thermocouple so i can print over 300c
It does 320℃ stock :D

I don't think 37C is drying your filament that much, My AMS would get to 30C easily printing PETG (I don't bother with PLA).
Ya I agree it must have set that automatically i usually dry at 45c-50c
I see your spaghetti string flopping off the dragons forehead where that white not was when you first started talking about it maybe the eye idk..little one barely visible flapping around there...
It could be that, maybe I'll run it again and see if it pauses at the same point
