@@Apk07 Corrected, its s shame they didn't leave that open for a little longer.
Do you have any issues with vfas on your machine on the first few layers as noone is commenting but I've seen a fair few videos all having first layer issues..
Minor note, audio a bit quieter in this vid than most other vids on the internet. Have to about double my volume to equalize. Just thought I'd mention.
Thanks mate yeah I’m not sure what went on there. Sorry !
@@TheRealSamPrentice Sorry I see there were plenty of other comments about it when I first glanced I didn't see any. Good video though. Fun memes.
Given the recent Bambu drama, I was all set to order a P1S, but I decided to go the S1C route instead. Now to wait a month!
me too :) had the creality k1c in mind, but i dont want to fiddle with the cfs-adaption kit.
Honestly, at the price I had to give it a shot, I got it pretty much as soon as preorders went live. 4 color printing with fully enclosed with that good temperature support with a bigger 250 size vs the 220 of the competitors for 550 is almost impossible to pass up. Frankly I probably won't use the multicolor that often but it is nice to have the option.
How are you liking it so far? I just placed a preorder for one.
@@RubberSalt They haven't shipped yet, the only ones who got them so far are youtubers who got sent them for free as review units.
That is very true
@@MaethorDerien so far, they seem alright from what I call tell.
I also pre-ordered one as soon as they went live. Been printing with a kobra 2 neo for awhile.
Sam is it? You seem like a great guy but this is going to be harsh bro!
This is review of a 3d printable Bluetooth speaking NOT a Kobra S1 Combo!
TL:DR, in total 2% of this video (20 seconds, yes I actually counted) talks about the Kobra S1 Combo, I don't know if reading between the lines that's because its crap but you don't want to upset the manufacturer who obviously gave it 3 months ahead of general release or what!?
13:45 to 13:51 said "anycubic have surprised me with print quality of the S1C, and have managed to add contributions into a solid base"
13:59 to 14:02 said "the S1C certainly does seem to be solid"
14:09 to 14:13 "Anycubic have been the first to add heat to their Ace system"
14:56 to 14:59 "the s1c is a good alternative if your budget doesn't permit a market leading printer"
15:11 to 15:15 "its not a Bamboo Lab printer, this is also not priced that way"
THATS IT. No comments or comparisons were made about the printers quality vs any other machine which is very disappointing, nothing about the build quality vs any other machine.
In total 20 seconds out of 965 seconds.
A significant amount of time was spent opening the box of the Bluetooth speaker kit we cant even buy, showing all the components, talking about them and even building and reviewing the dam thing. In total then, spent 20 seconds talking about the actual star of the show........
Harsh comment.. But the points here are valid. IMO, we should expect it to be close if not better in a few regards compared to the P1S, and a fully valid alternative to the A1. Its cheaper than the P1S, but has had time to reflect on bambu's issues, and a couple years worth of new technology to include. If it is NOT up to par with the P1S, I'd want to know exactly whats lacking.
You spent a lot of time of on this Russ, I’ll be sure to be better in the future
@@TheRealSamPrentice 🤘🏼
How does it compare to Bambu? I'm running a Kobra 2 but I really like the Bambu print from phone and proven profiles.
@Fiveliterdave it’s slower and the software isn’t as good, but you know Bambu has had a few years to get it right and for people to be super comfortable
I pre-ordered this in the eight color version instead of getting an X1C from bambu labs. The price point was definitely a driving factor. Hopefully I’m not disappointed!
Currently running a flash forge adventure 5M pro so I think that anycubic cobra S1 combo will be quite the improvement.
in print quality? nah
Ordered the S1 combo and definitely am looking forward to it. People complaining about size, it's 7mm less than the Bambu printers. Basically, no difference but a more affordable solution with the bonus of a heated ACE Pro unit.
Bambu Slicer won't actually let you use the 256mm anyway, slicer tells you off if it goes above 250mm
@@alexmay6707 OrcaSlicer allows you to use the full 256mm. The only place you can't print is the small square at the front edge of the plate.
Bought I as my first 3D printer, not for a certain usecase, sparparts, sons schoolwork. Paid 550€ over ebay at Anycubic. 50€ ebay+ discount. Any kind of filament recommendations?
I just use polymaker
I ordered one, I'm looking forward to trying it out.
I have a p1s with an ams and I bought this combo have high hopes anycubic seem to be actively trying to release a good machine
Looks like a decent unit! Price is not exactly revolutionary. I do get so tired of any "clone" conversations. You mean the A1 Mini is an Ender 2 clone which was a Prusa Mini clone? You mean the A1 is a Prusa MK3 clone which was an Ender 3 clone which was a clone of something else? They're all based on old or open source designs? Qidi was making enclosed, core XY, steel frame printers before Bambu Lab existed. Wish people would see the big picture. What matters is if a printer is good for the money or not. I also agree that multi-color is just to wasteful to generally appeal to me.
I don't care if one is a clone of another or not at all 😂 If it's good, then I'll buy. I'm not a fan of a any brands.
I actually have pre-ordered both of the printers. They are not planning to ship these in the U.S. until late February to early March. You have really eased my mind on the S1. I am really hoping that Anycubic has addressed user issues with the kobra 3, and we get a more "refined" product with the Kobra 3 max. I was able to pick up both combos for less than creality's k2 plus, which seems to have some early reviewers in distress.
I do have a bambu p1s and love it, however, i spent $1200 after accessories and filament. For that price, Anycubic gets me 2 *4 color printer combos and 8 kg of filament. Holding my breath for Bambu lab's q1 offering.
Seeing how things have gone with Bambu Lab as of now this might be my next printer.
I got the money together to buy a p1s and ams on Thursday, then I read about it all going to 💩, having a serious look at the S1 now, but there is very little information about it.
@pmcbride1972 it works well might not be as feature rich tho
I'm curious about this printer, that's why I just watched this video 😄 but I'm going to see how reliable it's in the long run before I consider buying it.
Can you please help me decide. Let's say I have only 600 EUR and at the price I can get Bambu P1S without AMS and Kobra S1 Combo with the ACE. What would you recommend me to choose?
Depends on what you’re printing you could buy a p1s and get the ams later but you won’t have a dryer, so it’s going to depend what you’re printing and what your preferences are.
I bought one of these printers and was hoping for a more detailed look at the print quality. Can you post more information on this issue? Do you think this will be a very good printer or just a value printer?
I would be all over this if it had been 2 years ago. I preordered the k3 max combo at $570. I would rather take the risk of something different. Good vid Sam.
Hi, Thanks for the review, I order one , instead of p1s I have a x1c among other printers and x1c is the best by far but not perfect or maybe I am not perfect at printing. Anyway it would be helpful a more detail review like showing nozzle changing, and actual print quality at different layer settings and speed comparisons to Bambi lab.
Thanks
How does this compare to the bambu labs x1c or p1s? My main concern is ease of use and low maintenance. I don't care if the anycubic is a better value.
Watch the video I talk about that
I’m looking at a 3D printer. I love the option of Multi colour yet I’m concerned about how much waste there is. I love the Prusa 5 head unit for that reason but the cost is huge. I love a large bed the K2 is 350x350x350 - I will be using it to do larger props mainly. Happy for any thoughts Budget of about $2k AUD. Give or take. There is so much choice. Love the idea of a heater in the AMS :). Great Vid - Cheers
I'm glad to see the slicer improvements with this machine launch. Mac users are stiller suffering on a few 'Orca' inspired slicers. It boad well for the Kobra Max might being a work horse.
I'm also seeing no black Bleed in the prints here.... might come down to the nozzle length in the end. 🤔
Hey @TheRealSamPrentice - thanks for the great overview / review.
I recently got my first CoreXY machine (K2 Plus, my 7th printer in general) and I'm loving it. I'm loving it so much that I've now just ordered a Kobra S1 (I like the ACE, shape/size and the claim of low-noise).
You mentioned that the Kobra 3 Max could be possibly be a more interesting option - I have the previous release and it's painfully massive, but I also love that capacity. Even the K2 Plus print bed against the Kobra Max series bed's is notably smaller. My answer to your question about which one is "both" - so I've ordered a Kobra 3 Max too. I do not have a print farm.. Well.. Not on purpose.
Regarding the ACE - can it be used for prints without mains power supplied to it? Like, if I didn't care about the dryer, could it still be used for prints and I could only plug it in to the Kobra printer? (I'm betting it's going to have to always be plugged in)
I’ll check the mains thing but i believe it needs mains power as the heater would draw a ton of wattage
@@TheRealSamPrentice I'm sure it does need mains to run the heater. But my question is will it work as an MMU without mains power (and therefore only feed filament, not dry it too)?
@@cupcake-155 Thats what i'm saying, I dont know but I will let you know once ive had the time to test it.
Happy New Year Sam. Great video. 🙂
Thank you dude HNY!!
Great insight as always Mr. Prentice.. only complaint I have.. I was trying to watch this while my wife was asleep and to hear you I had to set my volume so high that when the ads popped up they were SCREAMING loud...and got me in trouble.
Sorry about that I’m not sure what the issue was here
@@TheRealSamPrentice no worries first ad I was blaming the ads. Second ad I got in trouble and just continued to watch on my phone at the other end of the house. LOL
Hahahah same happened here
I think it's the volume of the video that is a bit low.
Does this printer allow you to use PVA filament like the Bambu A1 Mini?
Not via the ace I’d imagine, being its heated maybe but you’d have to take care that’s the prfe doesn’t get blocked
Is the outer shell on the printer metal or plastic?
Plastic with a metal frame
Any chance you're going to do a review on the Cobra Max 3 combo I got in on the founders price and pre-ordered it I can't find a review on it anywhere yet.
I’m waiting on that one
@TheRealSamPrentice thanks I can't wait!
Hi Sam, I loved your video, especially the unboxing 😊
Thanks so much! 😊 I hope you Danced !!
Do you have any other updates on this printer
Since I published it yesterday? Nope
And I didn’t once a side load for tpu and can it do carbon fiber. I’m order both of this machines and I’m also waiting on my first Bambu machine 😅 whatever is next because I don’t trust in the Creality K2 and it’s software.
@kelRGo sure.. I don’t have to do all of the things just because you expect them. I’ll look forward to your review in that case.
@@TheRealSamPrentice 😇
I’ve subscribed and I’ll await it with bated breath.
i bought a combo unit and a standalone unit both... all in with 4 rolls of filament was still ~$420 less than a bambu lab x1c combo unit alone...
Does it identify the color of filament automatically or must we input that?
It does a color match to the closest when you print from the screen, it has rfid but with their filament currently
@@TheRealSamPrentice Thank You for the speedy reply! ok ill oder just anycubic stuff for Now. I ordered on ...I Can always return it.
@qkb3128 indeed ! :)
Thanks for covering this printer. I was very interested in Anycubics 1st CoreXY printer, and I have 2 of their Kobra 3. But after pretty bad customer support or lack of it with the issue I had with their Kobra 3 I think in the future I'll go with a company that actually gets back to me after I send in multiple request and tickets for an issue.
Nice video, definitely interested in the much lower price point of this style of printer with their Multi-material system. Btw, this video audio is WAY lower than the youtube ads for some reason.
Thats odd, thank you for pointing it out tho!
I wodner this is a good 3D printer for an absolute beginner. I am looking for one but having a difficult time deciding which one to buy.
What are you other choices ?
@@TheRealSamPrentice I was comparing Flashforge Adventure 5M, Bambu lab A1 and Anycubic Kobra 3. Then I stumbled across this Anycubic Kobra S1 Combo. It will be my first 3D printer so i want it to be fairly easy to handle.
@mm-sz5li well the A1 you can buy today and have it
@@TheRealSamPrentice Thank you. True but this also looks cutting edge! Do you have any opnion on Flashforge?
@@mm-sz5li Get yourself A1 Combo. Great overall ecosystem, reliable machine that some people using even on print farms. Hassle free printer, little bit awkward at the beginning but great working multicolor system (ALOT more reliable than ACE Pro). Slicer you can use on any operating system (Win, Mac and Linux). Good mobile app. Easy access to every spare parts you may ever need. Quite cheap and really easy swappable nozzles, hardened and stainless steel in all popular sizes, available right now and not "maybe someday". Tons of print plates to choose from. If you really want Kobra S1 - wait till official release where people will have a chance to test it for few months. IMO A1 is alot better choice for beginner.
i did order 1 and i got it at the intro price of $549. however i live in canada. so that price ballooned to over $800.
Thought this was the S1 review not a review on the speaker and the poop it produces. Not what I was expecting
I wouldn't own another Anycubic printer. My past one was a mess. Learned my lesson.
I've owned 5 and have loved them all. One i3 Mega and 4 Kobra 2 Pros.
i would buy it but just bought the K3 Combo
I bought the kobra 3 max a week before they released the pre order for s1
Did you print the speaker parts on the S1? Perhaps you said that but I missed it.
Pre-ordered mine but apparently not arriving until March. But, even if it's a pile of doggy-do, it's still going to be 100 times better than my old Ender 3 V1, which has never worked that well and doesn't work at all now.
March !!! Oh boy !!!
Nice video mate, just as a heads up while the audio mix is fine, global audio is like 30-40% of where it should be. The ads are much louder
Could not afford to order whole kit at the moment. Printer cost approx 380 itself I hope will print TPU ABS and CF materials.
I doubt it will be possible to print any CF reinforced filament on it. Aside from not having any hardened steel nozzles available in Anycubic store so far for any of their 3D printers, there is no info about extruder gears being hardened. Anycubic wouldn't omiss sharing so important news in every possible place in their marketing materials. They not see it important so they not spent a single penny on it. In fact, we don't even know extruder in S1 is single or dual gear! This paid reviews showing flexible dragons will not tell you that. Let's just wait for independent ones, especially from someone who will make this extra step and check some problematic facts about this printer. So late February the earliest.
@xantrax9359 it’s not paid by anycubic pal. Couple of good questions that I’ll ask, no need to be shirty and obtuse about it tho.
@@TheRealSamPrentice Any information that will help people make their decision to buy it or not will be very valuable. Ask them, but this info will be probably filtered by marketing department. And because they can't even decide printer that making 58dB, as per one of the reviewer, is 44 or 46 or 48dB "quiet" one, they can't decide its hot-end is full metal or non full metal (mind were talking about finished product already sent to some people, store tech spec said full-metal, then non full-metal, full-metal again, now it's just metal), they will tell you whatever is suitable for them. You are tech guy and you have it already on your desk - if they made this printer somehow serviceable, just unscrew extruder, try to scratch the side of the gear/gears (to not damage its teeth) with sharp knife or needle file and we will know what we want. Oh, and I really want to see 8-color hub btw.
@@xantrax9359 Couple of people get them in EU there are first non English videos but not real reviews.
Just tested the link… It works :)
Thank god ! I’m down for my last £5 in electric
5 Pound…… That’s about $350 Australian…. Or that’s how it feels with the continual decline of the Australian economy
Thanks Sam. The Max sounds interesting. lm a sucker for a big build plate.
I'm waiting for that big old bugger! That for me will be interesting!
Talk about a long print, 8 color 450mm tall... I can only imagine!
9:45 what lighter is that? I want one.
The only think that i'm worried about is quality of anycubic bed in their printers. I have K2 for almost a year now my bed is not ideal I can print most of the time without any issues right now but i don't want to fight with warped bed again xD. Anyway i already preordered so time will tell if i did right choice to trust anycubic again. (also warped bed was also a problem in my friend k1neo and k2neo xD)
Nice video:)
1 small complaint. Please make the audio a bit louder:)
A smooth knee compressor with a little make up gain, and after that a limiter should do the trick
Thanks for the tips!
The only thing that got my attention is the heat inside their AMS. Creality lost their opportunity to add it to their AMS too. I know that Bambu Labs will add it to their new versions.
I hope so, when I first saw the K2 I said wow you put a dryer in there.. the engineer goes... oh no, we were going to but there were issues.
How do you know. Is there any news about new ams ?
@@michawasiljew6620 I think is going to be something very obvious from Bambu Labs, they are working on something different, they need to add a heat to their new AMS. It’s going to be launch with their new printer
@@michawasiljew6620 this year
Yeah there is news they announced it today at ces
Great introduction
My laptop volume is max and still can barely hear compared to other videos on youtube
the volume of this video is VERY low, the volume of ads is normal. this is a problem for me.
Weird isn’t it!
Did he say Creality K2 Pro?
He did
@@TheRealSamPrentice is he going tell us more about it and how it differs from the plus? 😌
@nurelarab nope it’s not announced yet, but it was seen in the klipper firmware
Please tell any cubic to !make their firmware open source. I've seen a couple of kobra 3 printers burn down, which I suspect the thermal protection wasn't enabled. Any cubic closed sourced the kobra 2 pro and max, which made it too difficult to tweak anything on the machine. Will not buy another any cubic without open firmware support. I'd rather buy creality for multicolor.
I'm not sure they will listen to me.
I’m brand new to 3d printers and decided on ordering the base model as my first printer. I wanted something enclosed for lower volume, more print flexibility, protection from pet hair, and little children hands. I’m glad to hear it’s a good buy and happy I purchased it.
why sound so low?
I'm not sure and I dont think I can change that..
Good video BUT,,,, You need MORE VOLUME!!! please.......
I bought one the price was just way too good compared to the A1 xD
Hmmm, this is like one of those "i just bought it but haven't really used it 5 stars!" reviews.
Yeah, this is one of those comments that has a number at the end of the username.
Nagyon halk a videó, átnézném a beállításokat a mikrofonod körül. ;)
wonder how the steel rods on the x axis handle all that movement with the weight i already though about throwing my carbon rods out and putting steelrods in because they wont wear like ever ... everybody on the bambu world is telling you the weight oh no you cant do this it has to be with carbon rods ... i never accepted that lol
Anyone else have way low audio levels on this?
Awesome 👌 as always my goto review channel and the benchmark of reviews
I purchased one for 519€ on the 5th of January and I cancelled my order when I saw tax were not included, which means 22% more for italy with for sure another 50€ for custom duties. Furthermore from what I seen, even it prints nice, the P1S wins all the times in comparison, It looked fantastic at first look but the more I watch videos more I'm convinced to get a Bambu
The Anycubic is even smaller in build volume than literally all newly released enclosed core xy printers.
Do what you think is right, its hard to give a balance sometimes, and not just with printers.
@@TheRealSamPrentice The printer is certainly fantastic value for what it offers, but I changed my mind more because of the tax issue, I contacted Anycubic support, they were very nice and even suggested a refund in case of extra cost, but I cancelled the order anyway as I was not willing to have future problems explaining the whole thing.
well shit... i did not consider that. guess i wait and see
@@TheRealSamPrentice sadly this is the right size for my space. i have a 400x400x400 print volume printer but all the extra bulk is making it difficult to do other things in the space.
What benefit their gain on spending time and money to develop (modify) their own firmware and slicer? They never better than the original, but feels as a downgrade with limitations. Ok i understand the firmware part, but should not they also leave it open as it comes from open source?
I love my kobra 2 (marlin version). It was very good stock but now that I have upgraded to a full version of klipper it is an entirely new printer. After issues setting up a kobra 2 Max and the NEED to use the app I am done buying anything from anycubic. Their locked down ecosystem is unacceptable and the app and setup was a horrible experience. But at least the mechanics of the printer are great and all the issues are software. I'm never going to be the guy rushing to be one of the early adopters of ANY product nor will I accept a printer that cannot be used and updated 100% offline as a standalone unit. It's absurd that I have to use my phone to do an update when there are USB ports right on the front of the case. I'm sure the S1 is mechanically a great printer but the software kills it for me. I liken it to a car manufacturer locking down route selection in the built-in GPS and self driving function so that you don't get to decide which route you take to get to work. Sure, you'll get there but only the way THEY decide you can. Hard no on that.
Good review though.
Got mine on the 2nd December for the founder’s price. Unfortunately, it will not be delivered until the beginning of March.
But hey....
The Flashforge AD5X will also not be delivered until the end of January because they have a problem with the „Poop Shute“. I’m curious who arrives first in Germany 😅
Audio is sooo quiet on this one
Yep sorry about that there isn’t much I can do at this point
@TheRealSamPrentice no worries! I will just have to listen on my PC, I can't hear it on my phone 😅
This printer is definitely a risky bet. Rushed release of competitor to 2 years old printer, tons of promisses in marketing materials but in fact nothing new. And definitely not done to the Bambu quality standards. And this material not helping at all. Not a printer review, rather unboxing and some gadgets printing, including really not needed speaker. This printer can reach 320/120 degree and print ABS/ASA? So maybe show it printing this materials? 46dB noise? So maybe install some sound measuring app on your mobile and prove it? It can print 8 colors? Show it! Connect old ACE from Kobra 3 to it and just show it. Nah, you can't because they not providing 8-color hub yet. Noone even seen it. There are people who tried already connecting old ACE and is not working correctly with S1 at the moment. You not said a word about it. Slicer is not working on your Mac? Don't worry, Anycubic Slicer Next for Kobra 3 is still not working on Mac 6 months after release! Noone is Anycubic team is really interested is those kind of "nuances". Spare parts availability? They don't even have spare nozzles for Kobra 3 in their store. Still nearly nothing for S1. This "filtration" just made me laugh. Not a sealed filter that you can put safely in designed compartment, just some bag of activated carbon and that's it! Anycubic style details. Everything is like that on their Kobra 3 and everything will be on Kobra S1. Buying this printer is a proper gambling!
I want the cooker! 😅😂
You can win one on the next live! 5 Ovens to give away!
@@TheRealSamPrentice I'm hoping for an Aga or Rayburn. It's cold outside! 😋

Thanks for the review, nice that I did not order a turd.
I hate overly wasteful models with mms, too many color changes just waste time and filament. Even if the results are stunning having more poop Than model does not really feels nice.
Yeah the waste isn’t my favourite thing
2:40 Sam Prentice: The start of 2025 will be dominated by machines that will look like this one (Core XY)
Creality: Take a look at our new bedslinger with our CFS
lol there’s still a market tho right.. right..
@@TheRealSamPrentice I think so. Bedslingers are better than their reputation. You should see an LH Stinger. It outperforms every Core XY printer. So Bedslingers can also be fast. And from what I've heard, bedslingers are dimensionally more accurate than core XY printers.
And for the manufacturers, bedslingers are cheaper to manufacture and the shipping costs are lower because they can be sent as a flat pack.

WHAT?
So sad that 95% of influencers on RUclips in this industry waste 95% of our time.
Sorry that your time could have been better spent elsewhere, Tim. If you hadn’t watched this video, I have no doubt you’d be out saving lives, changing the world, and making the life we experience better in some way. Did you know that studies suggest the average person spends about 95% of their day on autopilot, doing repetitive tasks or being distracted by things that don’t truly matter? Scrolling social media, overthinking, or procrastinating can add up fast-so if you feel like time’s slipping away, you’re definitely not alone!
You are 100% right Sam! I feel guilty every time my phone tells me I’ve spent two hours a day on RUclips. I think some of us as subscribers are feeling cheated by plugs when we are looking for reliable info. I disagree with others that the video didn’t say enough about the machine, you gave us a verdict in the end.
There is a clear difference between influencers in the 3d print industry, obvious when people are just making money off of sponsors as opposed to having a mission to provide focused, unbiased, and empowering information. I really enjoyed the editing of this video, and I think you do great with that work you put in. The music and cat and dog hahaha. Seriously laughed to myself out loud.
You are great, obviously, or I wouldn’t be taking this time to give feedback. Me commenting and liking the video helps you. I watched the whole thing. I support you, but I have already canceled many subs due to this phenomenon over the last year and a half where almost all of the influencers I used to look to for guidance have fallen off in to being ads for a bunch of random, or low quality products.
YOU titled the video and then decided to spend a small amount of time and energy to properly test its full capabilities for different use cases/applicatioms. That’s your bad, but I love you anyway haha. I’ll keep in mind next time I see a title like that to skip to the last minute or two rather than trusting my time is well spent by leaving it playing in the background while I work on my business.
@ you deleted my response?
No I didn’t !!
It’s here..
amazing how long its taken the competition to copy Bambu.
I still don't know if the "market" really knows what it wants.. i've seen a LOAD of printers coming out and its really down to "Price, Quality, Support, and Risk" People said they wanted bigger, Creality came along, its better than the K1 sure, but things are still confused.

@@TheRealSamPrentice I'm wondering if we're looking at some kind of X2E doing those temps? hmmmm
wow that thing could straight up be a bambu product the similiaritys are so insane i had to look twice about 5 times ...
Except its faster, and the multicolor unit is much better then Bambu. And the screen is miles better then comparable Bambu's and the price is lower...But yeah perfect clone 😂
I understand when vendors trying to copy Bambu. What I don't understand is a company releasing such a large printer with an even smaller build volume then the likes of X1C, K2 Max or Qidi Plus 4. Granted, it's a cheap printer, but so is the Qidi. 250 ^3mm is not big enough imho. May as well get something like the A1 Combo
I agree! !
Uh its the same size as the X1C.....And a Corexy with the same bed size as a bed slinger like the A1 is ALWAYS going to be better.....
@@anthonylong5870 Wrong .... try again .... Size is 250x250x250 (minus exclusion zone) whereas Bambu X1C and A1 are 256x256x256 ... Might not be much bigger but the fact that others are even larger now - like the K2 with 300^3 - going smaller, no matter how much smaller, is a wrong and odd move.
@@K8Stuff Go look at the effective (actually useable) bed size. Its 250 on Bambu. They are the same
Some pluses but no innovation on waste management. Also, the prints do not look near as nice as Bambu...at least to me. And no, I'm not a fanboy. Creality just released info on the HI, an A1 clone. Interested to see how it prints.
I have that machine here as it happens.
@@TheRealSamPrentice Cool! These other guys seem to be copying everything but the print quality. Even now with using Klipper and some form of Orca.
The whole colour system needs changing, it's the most ridiculous implementation ever, why not have a printer with 1 extruder but 4 nozzles ?
Can you imagine the weight of a mini filament changer on a single toolhead ? Not gonna happen, at least not with the right balance between reliability, quality and price. E3D tried that with the Chimera (only 2 nozzles) and it didn't end well.
Nope. Not going to buy another Anycubic product since they are all clones of existing leaders like Bambu, Prusa, and Flashforge. Anycubic has a history of dumping support and replacement parts with short timeframes. I still have my old Neo bedslinger which is an Ender Neo clone. They sold it for a year then dropped it. I own a Flashforge now and it is a great product.
looks like a p1s combo
Except for the screen, The ACE Pro having a screen and able to dry filament. Oh and its faster......Oh and it actually has a real touch screen and can get to much higher temps
Bad news with the same crappy hotend, a definite mistake for me.
loos like a small cooling issue on a FEW videos I have seen...
