3 cyl engine is not new for maruti suzuki. since 1980's maruti makes very reliable 3 cyl engines, so long term reliability is not at all a issue

Carens facelift vara poguthu. Still in testing. Crysta is always one step ahead, but carens does the job and you have auto gear in carens. easy to drive in city.
