This was a really tight battle. Oh Gosh starts off and I think he may take it but then you come back. This is the first time I ever heard Oh Gosh's beats besides the sound pack and the collaboration you and him did. What's really good about him is his drum patterns, not only the sounds but the drum playing patterns he uses. As someone who's been doing music for some decades this is what I noticed about his beats at first glance. I like the Super Mario brothers sample you use. When I heard it I thought the song was gonna turn out like the Smiff n Wesson/ Cocoa brothers song where they used the sample but you did yours differently which I give you mad respect for. ✋
I had it 2 to 3 with 7 ties in favor of Oh Gosh. The only reason it wasn't a full tie was I like the Curb Your Enthusiasm beat that you used, but you used it last week so I gave it a tie. But then I'm pretty sure I remember that Whoa beat from last week and 2 of the same beats used from last week to this week is why I gave the edge to Oh Gosh but it was thisclose. Should be a rule in beat battles that everyone is doing now that you can only use one beat from the previous week in beat battles. After 2 weeks you could use all of them again. This way it will always sound fresh and new. But in general all the beats were hot as you can tell by my score. Always entertaining CurtissKing. 👍
biggdrake I love this breakdown and rule of not bringing back beats! I wanted to make more beats this week but time wouldn’t allow. Next time I’ll have an all new batch
