Not exaggerating, but one of the biggest signings in Rams history. We haven't had a steady presence at tackle since Pace back in '07. He's done a lot for this line in both performance and leadership.
So true!! I remember us drafting Alex Barron thinking he was going to fill that void when Pace retired but that never panned out. And let's not talk about the Greg Robinson pick 🤦🏽♂️. Big Whitt has been the greatest gift lol

I love that he mentioned some underrated pass rushers like Dumervil. There’s a lot of great LBs and DLineman who never got a ton of recognition. The curse of playing in the same era as Ray Lewis, Urlacher, Willis, etc.
Ravens fan here, love that Dumervil played as a Raven, disappointed that there wasn't more team success for him. Suggs and him was so fun to watch.
I mean, Doom set a ravens single season sack record back in 2014 if I remember right.

Big Whit handled Hendrickson. That sack wasn’t on him. It was an aker screwup. Was kind of trash talking Trey too. Loved it.
Loved him in Cincy. Met him a couple of times when he’d go to Dickmans in ft Wright. I could see him as a coach eventually. Wherever he goes would be my new favorite team besides the Bengals. No matter what team he was on in the super bowl last Sunday. That was the team that was going to win.

I completed Army officer candidate school when I was 40, already had 20 years of enlisted service, and most of my classmates were 22-27 years old. I can identify somewhat how Whitworth feels. I have nothing but the highest respect for this man. So happy for him on the Super Bowl championship and the Walter Payton award!

Aaron Donald is the real AD of LA.
As eloquent and well-spoken he is, I wouldn't be surprised if he's contacted for commentating. j
Then again with his ability to infectiously inspire others, he may consider being a lineman coach.

Andrew whitworth and Orlando pace are the greatest rams lineman ever
TGOT had Orlando Pace. When LA signed Whitworth its O line had been in rough shape. Like Pace, Whit was in my eyes the keystone to the Rams Offensive turnaround (along with the coaches and eventual qbs). Whitworths character is awesome - GOAT!!!

I have been watching Big Whit play since he was at West Monroe Junior High in West Monroe, Louisiana(the real LA), then West Monroe High School where he won 3 5A state championships I 1997, 1998, and 2000 and 2 High school national championships in 1998 and 2000. Then he spent 5 years at LSU winning THE national championship in 2003. He is a winner that would have made so many more Pro Bowls and been All-Pro more had he not played in Cincinnati...sorry Bengals fans, he went unnoticed there.

Coming from st louis, I wish one day a national platform individual would give my city its due ... we sold out the dome here when we went 15-65. and I was in the building when Ricky made the catch in the back corner in 99-00, and I was still in the building for the last home game.
The rams and the cardinals were taken from us, I'm not saying I want then back, like an ex girlfriend. I want the acknowledged accumen that the NFL allowed my city to lose a franchise twice that we as fans supported. St Louis is also among few of our cites to host a world's fair, have a national monument, etc etc... but all this rams talk, the greatest show on turf, would smack these rams in the face. And you can't mention them without saying st Louis
