he certainly painted some very unique art work with steam engines that where back then at the end of standard gauge steam on BR was in a horrible dirty condison. his paintings keep those memories alive for people like me who never saw that. he also saved two of the iron horses from getting cut up for scrap. i was born in 1996
lovely tv episode I saw the Black night in action when I visited the West summerset railway back in 2012 I found her to be a very impressive piece of engineering
