Tim had some of the biggest balls in the history of humanity to have this attitude in a crew ran by the SOB. High school wide receiver Prima Dona is one thing but thats a whole different level.
I absolutely get what he's saying. Whenever new guys join a unit, they have to be prepared to leave the ego at the door. Getting in is the easy part, staying there is the hardest!
Tim's head is huge tbh. I respect this fellah way more.

Maybe you are correct but even if your assumption is true we owe a huge debt to soldiers like Tim and the SOB.

@flight2k5 Yeah. Tim saying McPhee was a hard man to work for isn't really a negative thing. Kennedy spoke very highly about John during his S.R.S interview. He praised McPhee for essentially being an American God of War.

I’ve watched a lot of the interviews and John is the scariest of the bunch. He jokes and you would think he’s full of shit. He’s the real deal without question. One spooky smart dude. I’d want no part of him. Glad he’s American and keeps his personal beasts at bay.

I think he made tim fight the whole squad one after another and Tim whooped them all twice before fatigue set in and he got his ass beat. It was a lesson.

Also, not just that, he was on the right side of the story, which is always a great place to be and you cant argue aganist him about that or use it aganist him in public. Great fucking job John. It’s not the vibe you want to bring to a team but on a primal level it makes Tim sound like a savage. The confidence to try while thinking you’re about to make a point and the cardio required…..those 2 things alone

I’m sure he was released from delta due to his crazy behavior. Notice he didn’t want to explain other than they don’t like divorces…? I know plenty of guys in that unit that are obviously skilled but humble enough to enjoy the ride without screaming for attention.
You are very wrong. They don't like messy divorces, because it fucks with your head and takes you off your game. Example, in a high stress cqb situation, your mind can slip up and get someone killed when its troubled with a "messy" divorce. Basically the dude lost a lot and probably was at a super low mental space. Delta doesnt have time for that.

This is the one part of the interview where he didn't come across as a bullshitter. I believe what he said, but he sounds like he's full of shit when he talks. Enough people have substantiated his claims, so i really do believe him. But he just sounds like he's full of shit.
I think it’s just his demeanor lol John is a goofball a lot of the special operations types can be very no nonsense types and that’s just not John, the man is always about a good time

Every single Servicemembers in our Armed Forces that goes in the service at a young age has to mature, a process that doesn't comes overnight. Some of our Brothers mature a little bit faster than others but going through process is essential for everyone in the regular units or Spec.Ops community.
The best thing that our younger Servicemembers can do is to absorb all the knowledge and skills from the ones that are leading us.
