Have you tested c4 dmg… I tried on a mates server, vanilla setting and brick and concrete took no dmg from c4 regardless how many used. Mates buildings his flag and we were not squaded, I could destroy other elements but brick and concrete walls
i posted a short video on a old Rust method of just using a twig bridge system man . i think it will be pre decent and stop people just lockpicking. nice build video btw love this content!
That was a nice tip! However, the weakest point of bases is a lock on the doors! You don't need to destroy an entire wall when you can unlock using lock picks.
You can unlock the door on the bottom floor but there's nothing there, the loot and is stored on the second and third floor and to access that you need to build stairs which is impossible unless you overtake the flag which is also impossible as its on the second floor lol

They will just have their friend to crouch and they will jump on their friend's back to get up top. Another thing is they can destroy the loot with grenade launcher or grenades. If someone wants to get the loot they always find a way.
Tried the piggy back for a good half an hour lol couldn't get It to work. Yes 100% they can toxic players will always find a way to grief you if they can't get your loot they will try and just destroy the base unfortunately.
You should be able to use a atv or a bike to scale the empty staircase-. Oh right... They removed every vehicle but that shit golf... But if you also destroy stair nr 2, then you should be rather safe.

ohhhh ok, so you cant just ladder up peoples bases like in rust? but they can still air drop in? So as soon as you have a 2nd floor with removed stairs they can't get in from the bottom? ( in rust i make secret walls to hide loot in, but if you cant remove this strat might be better)

I have two questions for you tho. 1) if you surround the foundations with the stair ramp (or whatever is called) does it improve the resistance of the foundations against the C4 damage by absorbing a part of it? 2) I'm a formed player/admin of Rust and I can tell that tricks like this can trigger the frustration of raiders that quite often prefer to destroy the lockers and chest rather than not being able to reach them. You can go one better and just build a wall around the base to further defend against c4! But yea unfortunately this can trigger some more toxic players who will just decide to destroy the entire base lol and yes you can actually just build the floor to cover those gaps I forgot to mention that in the video lol

@@PhantomControlGaming flag was not overtaken. Did ask the discord, they said something about a wheelbarrow, but tried that , and that didnt work. So no clue. This was on official server, so my guess is cheating ?
@@fredrikzi I've briefly tried to use a wheelbarrow but I had no luck in making it work although it is super bugged at the moment and launching people into space lol I suppose with a determined group of players it might be possible but this is considered using game exploits to raid which is a bannable offence on alot of private servers.

This is no longer a viable design since the bikes are again in the game, you can squeeze a motorbike or a mountain bike into the base and use it as a climbable object to reach the upper floor.
@@howweroll7 I was referring to the main design. Of course you can put some modifications and make it good again. But then again there are some bases that utilise this mechanic better

You could also build another door inside on the first floor so if they tried to get up they are stuck on the door
Yes you certainly can buddy there are lots of ways to secure this little base even more so than it already is 👌
I used this in 3 different servers and it works flawlessly with some minor security enhancements. The 3rd floor is untouchable unless you get griefed.

This is not Rust, you cannot piggyback on other players, you just slip down. ;-)
build a box away from base and drag it into the base to boost up, or drag the box you left at bottom 😂
You can't interact with the boxes like that, sure you can move them but they are formless to a character you can't stand on them or jump on them.

Take this to the next level, and add airlock to the front door, then double doors between each section.

Well technically its not unraidable all you need is about 5 c4 but there's a good chance that will destroy everything in the base lol
