Well done mate! I basically made the same thing, just by ‘freehand’ placing one of the foundations. That way the wall that opens up isn’t connected to any of the floor pieces above and you can have your normal square floors above. Can also be made quite compact. I’m using it in a 2x2. Freehanding can be a little tricky, but there are some techniques that I learned from Rust that can help - lemme know if you want to know how.
3:47 where the blueprint rotated - you can actually use this to access two completely sepearate parts of your base where only one part is accessible at a time.
Negative, the side where the wardrobes are has a normal square roof and not the triangles, so it would not work. Without it, you would not be able to place the triangles on the side where you actually do get in.

For some reason bunker system not working if you relog. After relog when you place roof, wall doesn't mord. It happend to me in multyplayer. But in single player everything is fine.
Well the wall will blow up also... This is why I reccomend you honeycomb your base. Its a lot harder to get 3 C4s than it is to get lockpicking supplies
Foundations fixed? It's been taking me one c4 to go through it from the top. I know this video is about no lockpicking, this is a solid build, but my first concern was the c4.
@@prisma567 Its fucked at the moment to be honest, I have not been able to get concrete data on it. Sometimes it takes me 1 C4 to destroy a level 5 foundation and sometimes 10 do no damage at all - other times it takes 3 or 4. I spoke to Matofski about it and they are aware of it and will be fixed soon. So I can confirm foundations is supposed to take the same damage as walls, from above, bellow or the side.
Build on a flat surface and have your foundations as low as possible, then maybe build some walls arounf your base as close as possible. If this is something people ask more, Ill do a video on it.

It does not disappear - it is a build mechanic that most modular base building games have that allows you to morph a full wall to the shape of a roof tile. It does not make sense realistically - but it is a game mechanic, they even gave it a name...morphing.

Loot fear is non existent in Scum, every shitty server wipes every second month to try attract more people, so you loose your loot anyway. This is patched with the latest hotfix, now after you destroy the twig roof the wall doesn't reappear it just stays transformed.

Probably not. Its part of the build mechanics, it can not really be fixed. Its how the walls morph to the roof tiles.
