The name of ion exchanger (cation ion exchanger/anion ion exchanger) is not given on the basis of charges... Cation ion exchanger means that our molecule of intrest that we want to separate is positive.. That's why it is cation ion exchanger.... And because we want to separate positive charges we need a negative charged stationary phase. The same is applicable for anion ion exchanger.. Because here our molecule to be separated is negatively charged that's why it is named as anion exchanger. Simple kaha jaye to... Counter ions k karan naam diya gya hai.. Naa ki stationary phase phase k karan
Thnks alott Mam❤It is very helpful For Me❤Because Tomorrow is my paper and this lecture is so helpful❤
All the best
Ma'am please provide notes❤
Mam cation carry positive charge na then counter ion negative hoga na .....?
And anion Carry negative charge then counter ion positive hoga na ...?
