I think your beach at Sapphire is better and there's no charge. Also try the beach down by the college . Super nice. I personally never liked Magens. I lived on St Thomas from 1974 to 2008. French Town has some nice restaurants and bars. Hope you got over to St John. That's really nice and beaches are the best. Very fun little trip.
Thanks for the tips. Not sure when we'll be back, but others will certainly find them useful. We did make it to St. John for a day trip and a tour of the island and beaches (from afar). Might put together a small video on that one, although I had a quality issue with my footage, so not sure if it's worth it. Thanks for watching!
in the late 1980s two of my best friend's fathers managed the hotel and bar/restaurant. We spent many weekends in my 13 foot Boston Whaler with a 55hp water skiing in the bay. I have a picture blown up I took a little way down the entrance down island hanging on my hall wall.
A lot of the locals have been leaving for greener grass in the States. The demographics have changed quite a bit along with building from when my mom first visited in 1964.

I’m sure it was a different place back then!
