I think it is personal preference. With the constant beam, I feel like I’m more connected to the racquet and it doesn’t necessarily give me any free spin. So especially on my two hander, it forces me to use good technique to generate spin. The varied beam racquets can be easier to use and good on defense, but the ease of use can lead to developing poor habits. This is just my opinion from the racquets I’ve used.
@@BorisBecker1872 for me, not really. My favorite two racquet for the one hander have been the vcore 95 (tapered beam) and Wilson shift (constant beam). I guess for the one hander that the balance plays more of an important role for me.
I thought the Whiteout 305 and the Head Radical MP felt nearly identical. Interesting that you didn’t point that out. Didn’t like the sounds that the Radical made at impract. Prefer the Whiteout.
I guess it is all personal preference. I really wanted to like the Whiteout 305, I love the design and the specs are right inline with what I typically like. It just didn’t feel right when hitting and I didn’t have an enjoyable hit. I played well enough. For the radical, I actually do like that sound, it makes it seem like I’m hitting the ball much harder even though I know that isn’t really the case. Thanks for your comment.
Interesting that I see this video as I was just telling my friend yesterday how I think I like constant beam racquets. I have a PS97L right now.
Andy, what are the pros and cons of a constant beam versus a varied beam?

Thanks for that. Any preferred type for the one-handed backhand?

You should do a beginner video on your exercise regime. You are jacked!
I like some flex in the head of the racquet - they more much more comfortable.
