Loop road has some very special memories for me. It all started back when I was 9 years old. My Dad, Mom and I used to head out to the loop most weekends. We lived in Hialeah at the time. This was in the late 60's early 70's. I learned to fish, shoot and catch snakes out on the loop. Many of those snakes became my pets. There were times when we would get out there and find the road totally submerged. This didn't matter much to us, we always found a way to get through the water and find a high spot to spend the day. Well fast forward and now I'm 65 years old and live in north Georgia. I just can't stop thinking about making a trip back out to loop road and stopping in to finally meet Lucky Cole, who still lives out there. Lucky knew my father back when he worked for Florida Flood Control. So many memories out there on the loop. Thanks to my Mom and Dad for so many amazing times out there and camping all over south and central Florida. What an amazing childhood I had. It's always the simple things that matter the most. Life is good.. Thank you for the Loop Road video.. Fred Chapman
18 days and counting….. who is going to the 2023 Key West Fantasy Fest? October 20th to 29th. This year‘s theme is “Uniforms and Unicorns” It’s to celebrate 200 years of the United States Navy in the Florida Keys
Head down to the flamingo campgrounds in the everglades, the entrance near homestead, stay the night and you'll see every star in the sky and the milky way Its almost unbelievable.
We’re glad you enjoyed the video. Their personality is what we love about them. Mugsy is going traveling with us everywhere we go. Mugsy says hello to Daisy.
Hi Jorge. Thank you for watching the video. There is no dispersed camping on loop road that I know of. There is Mitchell’s Landing Campground and Pinecrest Group Campground.
Sorry you found the music irritating. This was one of my early videos 2 years ago. I’ve learned a lot since. Hope you watch some of the more recent videos. I think they have gotten better.

Hi Keenejs. I’ve been to Flamingo several times but I’ve never camped there. My be this winter. I’d love to check out the night sky.
@@travelingwithpandaandmugsy8635 you can rent a house boat to stay in or maybe by winter the hotel will reopen that is owned by the park.
Thank u 🤟🏾
Every time I get to South Florida, I make it a habit of driving the Loop, visiting Everglades City, and Chokoloskee Island...
Hi Pat. We love driving Loop Rd. We go 2 or three times a year. Everglades City and Chokoloskee Island are beautiful to visit. Good food.
Enjoyed the video. Mugsy is a cutie. My wife and I have a white female frenchie. Her name is Daisy. Frenchies have their own unique personality.

Do they have dispersed camping?
Hi Jorge. Thank you for watching the video. There is no dispersed camping on loop road that I know of. There is Mitchell’s Landing Campground and Pinecrest Group Campground.
How long is the Loop Road?
Approximately 24 miles
Most of the time, your music track is way louder than your voice, and it’s really irritating. You might want to be cognizant of that 9n future vids.
