I appreciate that this song was translated into Hindi. So happy for all those native Hindi speakers! ♥ Howevever, when translating, I humbly ask that you also translate into English. Then, you not only spread this music to Hindi speaking people, but to people all over the world. Jagaduddhāra is one of my favorite songs! I would try and learn all the languages of India, but there are just too many!!! And anyway, Sanskrit would have to come first. ♥

This is great. What about translation of non Tamil songs played at Kutcheris ?! Except for very few songs by Dikshitar in ‘Manipravalam’, almost all the songs are in Telugu or in Sanskrit or in Hindi Or in Marathi. First I do not know their meaning and also don not know whether it’s pronounced correctly by the Musicians.

    There is no need
This song has lot of Sanskrit words
With little effort all Indians can understand the meaning and enjoy the song the way written originally
    Music has no language barriers

You are right. Music has no language barriers!!! (Which is why I am here!) Especially for a song as iconic as Jagaduddhāra. But LYRICS? Lyrics, sadly, do present a barrier in the context of the language they are written. And not everyone knows Sanskrit. Therefore, I believe there is a need for translation. ♥
