Super rendition - one of my favourite songs, Chitra mams original in tamil sends me back to my uni days instantly. As an Indian I have been able to enjoy both our own and world music but have found that the west found it difficult to embrace the quality and depth of eastern music (equally good if not better - we can argue about that) at least until now - looks like now the younger generation are more open and brave - great effort and very difficult to get it right - really well done.

But add to that the difficulty of pronouncing words in a foreign languages, and that too languages that have about twice the letters in the Arabic. And EVERY singer in the Chorus and even the conductor pronounced each word correctly. Hats off to this wonderful singer and this entire group.

Last year I started collecting the FLAC(lossless compressed version of CD quality song files) & Hires files of various songs and AR Rahman's discography was at the top of my list & slowly I got the FLAC files of both Hindi & Tamil versions of this song + his other movies and the listening experience was just so magical. His earlier compositions frm 90's - mid 2000's are just so good in my observations n hits that nostalgic spot for many of us who were kids those days🤗👍🏻.
