- The plaintiff was at work and noticed her wallet was missing, and she suffered a panic attack as a result. The defendant's son stole it and played a trick on the plaintiff. Due to her panic attack, the plaintiff went to the hospital, so she's suing the defendant for medical bills. The defendant insists the plaintiff is exaggerating her panic attack.

That's not a prank. Mommy's raising a criminal.
I can see him becoming a bigger criminal robbing banks stealing cars etc brcause theres no consequences in his life the lady shouldve pressed criminal charges
OMG: the son is special needs. why is JM so horrible to him! The mom is protecting her son..This was hard to watch JM.
@@joemancurreri6635 Special Needs? That's a reach. He's went on to have other legal issues, so this was a start of a bad path for this dude.
@@joemancurreri6635 no hes not he knew exactly what he was doing and got away with it criminally but now justice has come sort of cuz he has to pay financially he still got away with a crime the lady was too nice shouldve pressed charges

He didn't say she hurt him in any way she was probably being a micro boss. So what. He's got issues but not special issues. He needs to learn to control himself and his mother and people like you need to stop coddling kids like this.
Stealing from someone’s purse or wallet is not a prank. The mother is an enabler. By not settling this outside of court, future employers will see that her son is a thief who creates hostile work environments.
Sad thing is...Watch her excuse be "ahhhh, BOYS WILL BE BOYYYYYS"... :/

...and what a karen looks like😂
Absolutely, she needs to hold him accountable or he's going to do more serious things as he gets older.
I guess we all enable in some ways, and maybe she had her eyes opened that day.
@lbu9542 absolutely 💯
@janetmario I still don't think she got it to be honest. I knew at sixteen that was never OK and my parents would have knocked me into next year doing some shit like that. I think mom needs to be more firm. He barely got punished at home.
RIP to the plaintiff. She passed away in 2022 at the age of 62.
And the defendant has further legal issues. From a police blotter in 2016:
"8/30/16, 2055, traffic stop. Marcus Bezzek, 20, of Hackettstown NJ, was arrested after a traffic stop on Rte. 202 for having an active warrant out of Roxbury Township, NJ for Failure to Appear. The warrant was confirmed with Roxbury and Mr. Bezzek was transported to our headquarters where he was processed and released on bail."
It's sad to hear that

@@joemancurreri6635 Wow, you are such a sympathetic person! Why are you so mean???
@joemancurreri6635 Sounds to me like you're in the 2nd stage of grief - denial - over your friend's recent death. Actually, you sound angry, really... also one of the stages of grief. It would probably be a good thing for your mental health if you took the time to be introspective and think about this loss. It sucks to lose close friends. I'm sorry you lost yours.

@Brittany-kn4mc That actually made me angry at the end, when the plaintiff got all sweet with the boy who stole from her and then his mother. That is also enabling, because he stole from her and then lied. And then his mother lied. By hugging the defendants and "forgiving" them is going to teach the boy that he can now get away with anything. I guarantee he committed another crime after this. Maybe this was one of many, he just happened to get caught this time.
That kid is so calm and seems to be unbothered by what he did. Kinda scary!
Sociopath.
A young man who can't even put together a coherent thought, either!
Definitely scary child so weird
He seemed to have some kind of intellectual impairment?
@@rhodagutierrez8527 He may be on the spectrum... I am myself. However not every single person who has a disability will do something that he did, and some do. It doesn't make it less right for anybody to commit theft. I am on the spectrum myself and I have worked with many of people who got me angry, and I didn't steal their stuff. But I have also seen and worked with people who have PHD's and act like total nut's. I know you didn't mean what you said to be like, everyone with a disability is going to steal because they don't understand right or wrong Why he may be on the spectrum is the lack of emotion in his face , it doesn't mean he doesn't feel anything , he may have a hard time with others telling what do at his job and it makes him very angry to the point he did that , and knew he did wrong so he didn't act upon it when the polices were looking . And his mom is standing up for him cuz he probably gets very nervous in confronting situations My mom uses to do that for me. Those on the spectrum, we all handle things differently, some things aren't right .. but should be addressed more as to why someone on the spectrum may do a thing like he did because he was most likely overwhelmed at work, and thought he was being mean to him, and his emotions got the best of him, and he did the wrong thing.

I love these older episodes. They're so authentic and the judge is less snippy.
He was definitely going to retrieve the wallet later. It wasn't a prank, he's a thief. Especially since the son can't even state why he was so angry(other than the Plaintiff was acting "bossy"). The mother choosing to believe it was a "harmless" prank is going to be a real problem in the future. If it was truly just a prank, the son would have fessed up immediately when he saw the Plaintiff having a panic attack and apologized for things going so far. Oooh---if it was a prank, why was there SIXTY DOLLARS MISSING from the wallet? Mom needs to wake up, almost all the punishment was State mandated. He still seems as if he's not really sorry. So sad.
I'm with you on this. He didn't care she was having an emergency, he wanted to punish her for getting on his nerves.
I don't think he was going back for the wallet. He stole the money and got rid of the evidence. I can't even imagine my parents even a little, believe that I took someone's wallet. Took the money, threw it in the dumpster as joke. This kid is going to get hurt dlfor real with a mom like this
He's a psychopath.
Many old people ate full time bullies while at work to younger people

Factsssssss
I always told my son that if he gets in trouble with the law, I'm going to be the last one to bail him out. I would make him pay every dime and MORE
Agreed. If my kids were ever in trouble with the police-if they were actually guilty-they would much rather deal with the police than have to deal with me.
The mom basically admitted that his “punishment” from her was playing football and becoming a fireman. For the kid’s sake, I hope it works
My parents always told me the same. Said if you go to jail, don't call me. I never went to jail. I now tell my kids the same thing.
For a second I thought I wrote this comment. We sound just a like 😂.
🙌🏽 that’s good parenting right there! I totally agree
Absolutely, then in most cases it will be over. Tell them if you keep this up you will pay all the fines and 18, you will really be on your own. Don't call me. It works.
The plaintiff is a very compassionate lady ❤
The mother is despicable.
He's got that serial killer vibe
That part
He still just doesn't get it.
Sad thing is, I see that kind of blank expression on faces and can't help but think sometimes that yeah, they'd be the one guy to kill someone and come in with a t-shirt that had something like "KILLER" scrawled on it...
He looked very well together with his outfit here but let's be real, his lack of remorse here was kinda creepy, and I feel like he may had only apologized just because he was on camera and wanted to "look good", like the judge said the mother was trying to do.

I have a 17 yr old son and I wouldn’t want that guy anywhere near my son. His whole attitude screams problem with authority in a major way.
I agree. That fact that his excuse for doing it was that she bossed him around. I can see it as though I was there. He is 15 and standing around doing nothing, and the plaintiff gave him things to do. And that was the first thing out of his mouth and it went very rapidly downhill from there. His mother needs to teach him to respect other people. But she hasn't done it so far, she won't be doing it now.
Where is his father? He needs boundaries and respect for authorities.

@@karolinam1085 You must not have kids…
I agree. And I think Mom does too because the way she said she didn't appreciate the way her son and the situation were being painted in court. Hello!? Earth to Mom! If course the judge is going to grill him. Neither of you owned up to what he did! He's calling it a prank and you're enforcing the lie, too. It's making the judge so angry! And rightfully so!
I coach kids like the defendant everyday. It’s amazing how they react when they do anything wrong because their parents don’t hold them accountable anymore
Omg!! The mom is such an enabler. Don't make excuses for your son for theft. He not only stole her wallet from her purse, he hid it IN THE DUMPSTER thinking 'well she might look in there'. And then to tell the Judge 'I don't like the allegations'. Really? You're lucky your kid isn't in juvie. If my son had done that, I'd be making sure he was paying for it for a long time. Don't raise him to be a criminal.
The plaintiff seems like a very nice and forgiving person. I'm glad she said the things she did to the kid and his mom, but I still wonder what he's going to be like in several years. Will mama keep laying out excuses for him?

How to raise the worst kind of kid…. Great job mother. Unbelievable.
The mother and son are special kind of people

He was a 15 year old kid that stole $60, he didn't kill anyone. I'm sure most teenagers have stolen something at some point...
That dear lady could have died, and she forgave him and protected him from the system! He acts like he couldn't care less
Mothers (parents in general) who coddle and make excuses for bad behavior and/or choices of their children create the insufferable degenerates we have to share this world with. They fail to teach morals, accountability, and responsibility. She should be ashamed of herself. I hope that young man has someone else willing and able to guide him properly. Otherwise, he'll just be another entitled, arrogant, lost cause in society.
Knowing he stole the money before trashing the wallet, the mother has some gall to make it seem like it was just an innocent prank. The judge was right for getting on his ssa for that.
That mother is doing no favors to her punk thief son!! She’s lucky she’s not in judge Judy’s courtroom.
Wow! This is not going to be the only time that kid is in court. 10 years from that court case, he's going to do something horrific and people are going to ask -why didn't they know. His demeanor, his eyes - nothing there. So scary.
Yeah, he was sooo blank :/
This is old. Apparently he has been arrested since...
The mother missed doing her job as a parent BIG TIME & I AM BEGINNING TO THINK AS WELL AS THE KIDS BEING PUNISHED, SO SHOULD THE PARENTS, FOR NEGLECTING TO BRING YOUR CHILD UP WITH MORALS !!! THAT'S ONE OF YOUR MAIN JOBS AS A PARENT !!!
This isn't the first time he's done this. Who thinks to steal at 15 unless they have already tried it and gotten away with it? I stole something as a kid (8) and was made to apologize. I didn't do it again. Ever.
Had you never gotten caught you may have continued to steal. Most likely would have. It’s human nature to continue a behavior you’re getting away with.
I've never stolen anything in my life so if I can exercise considerable restraint from committing acts theft or any other crimes at my "senior age", why can't the defendant's (I assume teenaged) son do the same?
Just. Because he thought of stealing now doesnt mean he thought of doing it and getting away with it
He's old enough to know better.
Parents this is how we get physcho paths cuz people don't hold their kids responsible for their actions
Well that's interesting 🤣i remember watching this after a crappy day at school.

My opinion is anyone who is considering driving a car should wait until they are at least 21. It matches the U.S. legal drinking age.
16 is too young and dumb to drive.
Great Mom... have this kid volunteering at a fire station. Not a good idea. At 16 years old, he talks like a toddler and is dishonest as hell. Mom's gonna be seeing the police a lot in regards to this kid of hers. He's a bad seed. If the plaintiff had died from this incident...WOW!
Punishment is that he gets to play fireman and football?? Are you kidding me? SMH He needs to be criminally charged. IMO
By volunteering at the fire department, he will be around men who will mentor him, and they will be making him work. It is a lot of work cleaning one of those trucks.
The plaintiff is so sweet 😢 something happened to her and she is showing more remorse because he was punished than they are for the crime he did… Gods gonna bless her..
It was a just ruling. 👍
And the Defendant's mom was a very big part of the problem.
Is mom drunk? She’s not making much sense and slurs her words
I love how the judge brought out the truth of the matter, made him fess up and truly held him accountable. That is the only way he will learn a lesson and be able to move on which is important. He is young and made a bad choice. Let's hope he learns and becomes the wonderful young man he is meant to be. Forgiveness was important and it was addressed as well.
