The fact that I expected marshal Su's troops to comes first than the troops of marshal Xu but they both came at the same time.💀Anyway one of the best cdrama series alongside ashes of love. It deserves a lot of recognition. Amidst the threats of wars happening rn, may this served a lesson to all of us, to not be greedy over power be contented on what you have and strive in a peaceful way without harming others.

好特別的一齣民初劇，時代背景是設定在一戰前、國民革命軍北伐時期，而且劇中還是出現「中華民國」四個字，對我個人來說是個亮點。
故事內容樸實無華，卻是精彩絕倫。人物角色的設定，也有別以往，不再是男主一人是好人；女主張婧儀把流落民間的富家千金小姐沐婉卿，外柔內剛，面對仇敵卻不喪膽，用自己的方式犯險，暗中相救男友譚玹霖於危難之中，出演得恰如其分.... 當然，男主情緒的張力表現也非常到位，兩人劇中的互動，毫不作做。
這部劇不是悲劇， 可當蘇泓琛眼睜睜地看著顧月霜活活地摔死在他面，我跟著哭了...
蘇泓琛揍完徐光耀，之後兄弟二人冰釋前嫌互相擁抱時，我也哭了....
徐光耀在火車站向攻擊他的難民下跪時，我哭了；徐光耀當下決定跳上火車，跟著兄弟蘇泓琛去南京加入革命軍，我又哭了....
