Love this extremely thorough review and I love your attitude towards watches! You've gained a new subscriber. This video was extremely helpful in learning so much about these watches. I also was lucky enough to obtain the aventurine dial and burnt orange on release this morning. The aventurine dial sold out within 3 min :O. So excited to see them in person!!
I bought the Aventurine and the MOP. The dials are incredible. Another win for Zelos.
Was finally able to find(for close to retail) the Zelos Blacktip 200m ti teal MOP. Absolutely Stunning!! Love it!!

My Mako v3 needed some regulating and I had to fix the poorly aligned bezel. Still, that being said, I like it quite a bit. I’m hoping to snag the orange dial or full lumed one (haven’t made up my mind).
The hour marker and 3&9 indices have unique design, a kind of modern cathedral look. Zelos orange is always stunning, matches your tattoo colour too. 😊
Yeah have have a similar pattern on the hands as well. It looks cool.
Looking at the side profile of the case it’s very reminiscent of the SPB143 but obviously made very modern. I admire zelos for what they do but have yet to pull the trigger on one. Just the designs are I guess a little too modern for me. Still very very cool watches.
You’re right, the profile does have a bit of Seiko in it!
Terrific review. This Zelos watch is a winner in its construction and design. The price is also very attractive.I do wish Zelos had selected a better movement. They are falling into the same Myota 9015 trap as Wise did with their Amedaus watch. A real watch enthusiast looking to spend $500 to $1000 may object. This Zelos watch will sell out anyway.
What do you think of the way the bracelet meets the case? In videos it looks poor - maybe it's the difference in brushing (circular case vs vertical bracelet) and the fact they sit flush. Is it less noticable in person? Seriously tempted to place an order but this bracelet/case integration is already annoying me
Will the aventurine hold up to use? It's good looking but fragile to my understanding.

I think it’s still a little awkward but for some reason on the two versions I’ve tested it didn’t bother me as much. I think they did some slight changes with the design which improved the proportions.

@@ChrisM752 Correct. Brands like Zelos are good with the design and creativity, and especially branding. But the manufacturing prowess is definitely China's.
@@96kyh agreed. China made is viewed by many as a negative at they associate it with cheaply made. The quality of China manufacturing in general is far better than many countries. The area they seem to struggle with is design, that’s why the majority of the Chinese watch brands make homage watches.
The launch price of the original steel Blacktip was 425, so the price has risen a bit with these launching at 500. Of course, with this one we are getting coated titanium and some upgraded bezels and dials.
Oh crap. For some reason I thought it was launched at the same $500 price. But even with a higher launch price it’s still good value I think.

high price cause it's using miyota. but then again, singapore is raising it's tax in 2024, so expect future release to be more expensive
@@tngchinghwagood point about Singapore taxes! Original 3-hander also used the same Miyota, but prices have risen everywhere in the last couple years!

I was lucky enough to get one as a wanted an aventurine dial in my collection. Unfortunately, this was gone after less than 3 minutes and I don’t understand why Zelos is doing this kind of selling, which I don’t like. If it wasn’t for this one I would have saved my money for a Christopher Ward Celeste (aventurine as well)
Nice watches but I prefer stainless steel for better scratch resistance and bezel action. I will eventually have a Zelos in my collection but will pass on this one.
Lucky they keep coming out with new versions every few months. I’m sure there will be something in stainless steel in the future.
You won’t beat the Zelos coated Ti for scratch resistant FYI

You need lighting. It's too dark for most part of your video.
After several attempts I managed to get my hands on Zelos watches twice. Returned both. Not good quality.
You are a good watch channel though. Not a dig at you.
Zelos watches are crap. Had several of them. In particular Zelos hammerhead Ti edition - Movement and bezel twisted to the left vs. case. Blacktip gmt - bezel hugely misaligned - even Zelos admitted it is common on their gmts bcs the bezel is bidirectional (poor excuse) . Mako diver - horrible bezel action, Great white - glue sticking out on the dial . Poor quality watches no QC , overhyped. No new designs just changing the color on new releases . ZELOS NEVER again
Owned, let’s see….7 or 8 maybe? Never had issue, plus their customer service is amazing
@@Billeh556same. Owned maybe 10 of them going back 3/4 years. Had one QC issue (misaligned date wheel) and Elshan replaced the whole movement without question.
These are affordable watches...
Zelos watches are top notch. Never had an issue with them. Very well made, innovative and high quality
