Congrats on a great video, the Elf clip really tickled me, it’s uncanny how often I find myself going out way to hard and fast when I’m planning to take it easy. Haha, hope the two of you have a lovely Christmas.❤

Thank you Gethin. I'm glad you enjoyed the video, and the elf clip. I couldn't resist adding it in given the time of year and how insistent I was before the run that I'd take it easy. Once I had only intended on taking it easy because I felt so sluggish that morning, but once I got going I felt good and decided to see what I had in me, and it turns out I did better than I could have expected 💪
I hope you have a fantastic Christmas mate! 🎄

Matt, you seem to be on track for a realistic sub-25 attempt. Look forward to that. Hope the conditions are kind. Becky, you seem to have some challenges to contend with (fire trucks etc 😮) but stick with it and you’ll get there!

Thanks Mark! 👊 Becky is her own worst enemy at times. She does have some challenges, but she is a trooper and will get there. We aren't sure if she might have had a bit of a chest infection that has kicked her troubles off, but the right thing to do is to take a step back, recover and then come back strong. Plus, as I said, I might be able to pace her by then. 🤞
Fingers crossed the weather conditions play fair for the start of January. 🌤️

The route looks a little bit like a lady's high heeled shoe 👠
    Still watching.... good luck! 😅

Haha! I had to load it up again to see what you meant and saw it instantly. Despite the several hours looking at it whilst editing I didn't notice that at all but now I can't unsee it. Good spot! Thanks for watching 👊

Thanks Craig! I'll be honest with you, as I approached that last corner the only person in my sights was the chap in long sleeves that had cruised past me on the last lap. I was determined to try and catch him back up.
It does spur you on to go all out in that last little section knowing everyone can see you though 🤣 That's the first time I've ever seen my pace start with a 2 as well. I couldn't quite believe it when I saw it 🏃‍♂️💨

My fingers are firmly crossed mate. The sub 28's have been a more regular occurrence lately so it would be great to see this more often.

Wow that's an impressive time anywhere, but I've heard Huddersfield isn't a flat one either. Well done! A great way to end 2024! 🏆
I'm hoping to crack the 25 barrier this weekend. Fingers crossed the weather holds up 🤞
