I am a relief valve repairman. Been doing it for 34 years. I have a wife and 7 children, everything that I own have worked hard for and happy to do it. Thank God for hard-working people.
34 years of the same job. I have an enormous amount of respect for that. When you retire, soon enough i guess, live each day like there's no tomorrow with your kids and wife. You deserve it. What a legend. Nowadays most people don't last 5 years in the same field.
Amen Brother. I have been 24 years in the same industry (vegetation management) and I wouldn’t change a thing. Traveled all 24 years from east to west and 5 provinces in Canada. Dedicated hard working people are hard to find. I started out at $8.00 an hour in 2000, and trust me it’s took a lot of sweat blood and tears to get where I am today in this industry. Kids now days think they deserve to be the CEO in the first week. Hard working blue color Americans is what built this country not some suit wearing forked tongue feller. Work hard young folks take the good with the bad.
Worked hard all my life! No kids, but 5 nephews and 3 nieces, glad that God has blessed me with a bunch of souls that I can help to bring them to Jesus!
I was thrown this in my recommendations and I am more of a metal head.... But this is legit fantastic and great real country right here.... And lyrically sensational
Thanks man! I’m a metal head, listen to lamb of god and slipknot daily and almost broke my neck in a SLAYER pit a few years back lol but when I write this is what comes out. Thanks for listenin man.
Well....At the cast iron skillet, I wanted to laugh..at the same coffee cup, I wanted to cry. The arrangement about the cast iron skillet, well, either you KNOW what he means and it strikes a feeling or you just DON'T. The arrangement about the same coffee cup hits because my Dad passed in 2019 and I use the same coffee cup he used every morning...well...every morning. As a 21 year railroader with a family, the rest of the song resonates and speaks volumes. I felt like Joe knew me when I first heard this song. It hit home and hit me straight in the heart. I know many of you felt the same. Funny thing is, when you are part of this rare breed, you do know each other. Maybe not formally, but many of you get it. Joe Clark..my friend. I know you are NOT a fame and fortune seeker, but somehow, I don't believe you will be able to escape it.This is a masterpiece brother. Real life and real music!! I hope to cross paths someday!! GOD BLESS you all!!
That’s what it’s all about, if a song can bring out those emotions in someone I feel like I’ve done what I wanted it to do. I’m sure your dad is proud of you brother. Thank you so very much for listenin my friend.
