Hi guys, I'm so happy that I found your channel. I searched for information about Benro FGP18A tripod and luckily found this review. It's so cool that you compare them with other tripods and pay attention to different features because it gives a lot of information about size and functions. It's the most useful review I've ever seen. You are amazing!
Great video. I just got an open box Benro Go Plus FGP18A from Adorama for $74 shipped. And the Benro Geared Head for shooting real estate. A significant upgrade from what I had.
Which is the sort of hybrid tripod head you had on the one tripod you mentioned being an Amazon deal? It looks really interesting. I might try that on a Vanguard. I like their tripods, but this head looks like a more versatile option than a lot I've seen.
Of the 2 versions, which one is a better investment? the smaller FGP18A or the larger FGP28A... for me, the price difference is about 60usd for the larger one.
These two tripods to me were so similar at times I had to double check which one I had. I’ve owned the 18a twice and sold it twice, and would buy it again and the only reason I keep selling it is when people buy equipment from me they keep asking for that tripod- for every day work its a better deal. Only make sure you spend some money getting a good tripod head. Thanks for the question!
I am thinking to buy FGP28A (Aluminium) since both are the same design and functionality except the material used. My concern is, is it sturdy enough to hold Nikon Z6ii + 24-70MM lense in horizontal setup?. For the horizontal setup, I observe that the weight of the camera will not be in the centre of the tripod, so I am assuming that the weight of the camera might damage the centre column holder and break sometimes, not sure how sturdy it is (is it made up of plastic or metal). Hope it should not damage the tripod mount/locking system. Any kind of information if you share is really helpful to decide. Thanks Shashi
Thank you so much for the video. I was in doubt about which one to chose and now it is clear that the 28 is the right one for me. Can you pls tell me what’s the head (photography) model?
I like the Benros for somethings and the Manfrotto for others. Are you shooting more video or photos? We have a new tripod review coming up soon where we will talk about finding the right tripod!

Can we attach a gimbal head without the center column on the FGP28A?

Sorry I didn’t see this sooner! Hope it’s not too late: we have the Benro S2 video head. I picked it up for about 75$.
@@soldoutmedia8025 what about the other head, guys?
@@trixthrillist2859 For those who are asking the same I searched it up and I think it is the "Benro HD1A"
it comes without ball head??
We had to order the heads separately but many stores seem to sell them as kits.
Benro is better than manfrotto?

@@soldoutmedia8025 just photos. thanks for the attention
The title of your video is to talk about the Benro tripods, but the only thing you do is talk about the manfrotto and how superior it is (for you).
The title doesn't fit the content. And the audio is too loud.
The guy was not interested......
