This is so fire!!!! Can definitely hear the Peggy influence but done in an entirely unique way (imo). JPEG has introduced so many dope concepts throughout his career so far & I’m honestly really excited to hear more people incorporate some of his style into theirs like you have here. this is a great example of what Peggy is bragging about in his songs. it's sounds nothing like him at all, it's not nearly similar. his work is chaotic, he's always all over the soundscape, his drums patterns unpredictable and he always keeps you unexpected, his samples are rich and feels like something from his heart truly and he lets them breathe on his songs. you used his name for attention - well, this is my honest feedback. it's good, but it's not jpeg type, at all. just do your own lol. and i actually don't mind when people re-create his instrumentals - that's good for learning and education, that should be welcomed.

Nonetheless, this was my honest attempt to make something similar to the album so I think it's a little misguided to say that I'm "using his name for attention". In the future I'll definitely focus more on the points you articulated if I return to Peggy type beats, thanks for the feedback!!
Okay i disagree this my pushback: How many "type beats" actually sound like the artists they name? To me it's the beat maker's expression of the vibe THEY feel from the artist's work. When it comes to Jpeg, idk his process but to me his best songs sound like he has gone back and forth between laying down vocals and re-producing around them, rinse repeat. I imagine the best way to actually make a "jpeg type" rap song would be to start off with a beat and fuck with it from there. How is a rapper/vocalist gonna flow if these beats were completely scrambled with trippy cuts and sound effects etc? Not saying it's impossible and personally I'd have fun writing around someone else's craziness but for the average rapper it'd be a big turn off. I also don't see how this doesn't sound from the heart, this shit reminds me of a mix of Kanye and other soulful work. Maybe not your taste but you talk like your negative opinion of this is objective fact idk this shit to me is better than a lot of shit I hear. No hate just disagree.

I get you’re fishing for views but you’ve definitely developed a production style that, although clearly inspired by, is very distinct from Peggy’s production. Some really great stuff, definitely start rapping over these or try to collab with some to get them to start rapping over these or start playing live shows. Genuinely professional quality for the most part here
My only recommendation would be sometimes focusing on the texture of sounds to make them sound a bit more natural. Everything here sounds great but to me it felt like sometimes a more lofi approach to the sound textures would fit the aesthetic more. Not a pervasive problem tho and more of a nitpick than anything that aligns with my own tastes, keep being you and making great music

I'm a new producer, and I'mma say new because I produce since last year but I'm pretty inconsistent so I just know the basics of FL Studio but I don't know how to make a beat really, if someone were to tell me sonically what they'd like to hear I would be able to replicate that but I'm not good at making a beat by myself. I'm not good at coming up with drum patterns and things like that. Man, the second beat on this video I'd really like to see how you made it, the distortion and everything it just sounds so good, which plugins you used and all of that to see if I can learn from it. Glad you liked it! Pretty sure I used a base plugin called TAL BASELINE for the bass on that beat, then used a limiter to get it to not clip, hopefully that helps :)
Nice beats but definitely not Peggy type. Do your own thing! Develop your own brand! Both, the beats and the graphics are nice! You can carve your own niche space with it. Best of luck!
