I just made the Marlo “jumper” sweater in the US.😉. I sized down a bit knowing it was boxy & oversized. I like it and will probably make another one but will either size down a bit more and add a little to the length. I did make the short version out of very stretchy knit. Hope you like your version! You have lots of nice plans. Good luck!
I can’t believe how well your first dress turned out! No wonder you excel in your sewing skills today! Wow. Super impressed.
Thank you so much!
Lovely plans.
I made jumper for Kris last year in same fabric you are planning for marlo. It's very soft and comfy
Haya. Great plans 😀Look forward to seeing them. Happy weekend, thanku 'sew' much for sharing 🪡✂🧵🙂x
Thank you! You too!
The Simplicity 9125 is what I wore to the Dressmakers Ball! I have made 4 different ones. I love that pattern!! Super easy and you can't go wrong!! X
ohh great to know x
I am sat here watching your video in a black and white leopard print sleeveless didi top. I love this top and the way the zipped section went in was simple compared to others I have made. The collar is great on it. I think your minerva sherpa would look fab in this. I love the no sleeves option as it means I keep warm with out overheating! Marlow cardigan is also on my list so look forward to seeing yours made up. I think the dress pattern you are hoping to make for valentines is in fact a jumpsuit, not a dress with a slit (I could be wrong, if so sorry). Thanks for the great videos.
Oh no it is a dress....I just looked at your video again! Duh!

I've just cut out the Simplicity 9125 and will be using a tropical jungle print cotton voile. It's so crazy hot and humid here on the Gold Coast in Australia, so this light and breezy make seemed perfect. So I'm all for you using that pattern for that gorgeous lemon print.
Cool! I'm going to be really keen to see you make the Adriana Dress because I've been thinking about making it Forever. I sort of get the feeling that there could be bust fitting issues but just not sure. It just seems a little tight in the bust in any pictures I've seen of it made up. I've also been thinking about the Marlow Sweater but I realise I have a Seamwork pattern that seems almost identical so I think ill give that one a go. Happy sewing!
Yes seamwork have a very similar pattern , the Lisa?? x
It L
looks like some work for you for the short month. Good luck!
Thank you - I like to challenge myself :)
That bamboo jersey with the fruit is so pretty - I love the colors!
It really is!
Adele I have made the Didi and it's lovely. I didn't put the bottom cuff on but made it split side and I love it. I got Fibre Mood mags subscription for Christmas because I love so many of the patterns. This week I am making up the Elaine Sweater which is right up my street. With your beige jumper you could make a cuff with the bottom in your extra fabric and just make it slightly less than 100% say95% of your bottom width.
Just checked out the Elaine and its lovely - may have to get that one x
