2 weeks ago, I picked the Jon Stewart Green Lantern figure and to be honest, He looks great in hand and I might get Kyle Rayner in his more 90s look because he looks cool to have, Also, I hope we get a more classic or Rebirth Wonder Woman to go with the Justice League team, Awesome review as always Toyshiz.
Finally an updated 90's Kyle figure. I love my DC Direct one, but the detailed gauntlets and boots makes him looks more modern. And I really appreciate the new constructs. Glad I skipped the last Kyle in the hopes this one was gonna be released. Great review as always. Much appreciated.
Look great. I just hate that their store exclusive. I have zero desire to stop at Targets and Walmarts for figures and I can’t ever seem to find the recent exclusives online.
I saw your post about kyle and the rest being at target in niles Illinois and drove a hour to get him so happy they still had him in stock it was a full wrack of them
He’s being sent to stores in a red shipper standee. Check the beginning of aisles, all aisles in the toy section, even Barbie. It’s stacked 6 deep each with 4 diff figures in the shipper. Best of luck.
Still the best GL costume in my opinion. Same as you, Raynor was GL when I really got into the books. Nice to have a second figure in this costume after the Total Justice version😅(which is still one of my favorite figures)
To be honest I am a big fan of Deathstroke and to me he doesn't look bad he is definitely a pick up for me also green lantern Kyle rayner is also a pick up for me and they should have given my boy Deathstroke more weapons but I know they have to keep him PG 😉

I actually painted the first Kyle figure to be in his original costume, so I dunno what to do with him, even though my custom figure has a darker green that I prefer, I still want the official one since I'm such a huge fan of the character. Thanks for reviewing the Deathstroke figure too, I thought he looked kind of cool but definitely not a version of him I know about or need, so I dunno, if I see him in person it's a maybe.
Always bugged me a bit that they didnt do with Kyle what they did with hal and John. But I will say that out of all the multiverse figures I have. Kyle is the one I always find myself wanting to play around with.

Looks like Kyle face has some shading for facial hair. Everything's a gold label ha ha The best gold label was Hazmat suit Batman because he really had dry brushing and a neat chest light gimmick.
I think I see your point because being a Green Lantern is cool while trying not to die from Sinestro or Atrocitous in a battle for both humanity and the Green Lantern Corp.
Not a fan of the green they chose for Kyle Rayner (should be the same as the other GLs... unless that's McF Toys way of saying Kyle is "different", 'cause he wasn't part of the Corps). Also, I wish they had given him some mecha-inspired constructs, there's nothing wrong with that samurai and katana, but when I think Kyle Rayner, I think of comic/anime/videogame inspired constructs.
I really like Deathstroke but I will pass on this figure because I do have the newest one and seeing that this figure was a repaint with a cape I see no reason to buy it since I as well like the classic look of Deathstroke.
I know why McFarlane puts out these trash figures based on weak storylines, its done to get customers to buy the crap first releases then later will put out the classic, true costumes..get you to buy multiple times :( Deathstroke needs his classic suit & so does Wonder Woman ..no more silly suits !!!
@@ToyShiz That’s hard to answer, it depends on what era you prefer best. The Neal Adams style Blue & Gray is my favorite, need a solid version of that suit. Obviously McFarlane keeps putting out a ton of Batman figs & will continue with few or any ever being spot on accurate. The scaling is awful too so I cherry pick Todd’s figs, they are affordable at least.

Costume doesn't match the boxart but it's still a correct version of Kyle's suit.

Just picked up the deathstroke today at target , had to have him. Had no clue these were coming out let alone good labels
I might get Deathstroke too because he is another great Batman villain like Joker, Catwoman, Mr. Freeze, Riddler, Penguin, Two Face, Bane and Man Bat

That Deathstroke isn't a repaint of the orange and black Deathstroke it's mostly new ! The head , hands and feet are the only obvious re-use !
