To bad they have to waste electricity and a good a dartboard on 501. Cricket is so much a better game!
I like a good game of cricket myself, but for good players a long set of 501DO is a much better game. Cricket only uses 1/3 of the board, and you never really have to throw at any doubles. Even if I only need 2 marks to close I generally throw at the triple because I can still get a mark if I miss high or low. I will throw at the double if the triple is blocked. 501 uses the whole board and forces a player to set up for a double out, and have backup plans for misses. If cricket were a superior game they would be playing it in the PDC. A good 501 player who has never played cricket can easily get up to speed playing cricket. Someone who only plays cricket has no chance playing 501 against a good player.
@@fatboiwhiteboy1 No way does 01 use more of the board. 80% of your shots are at the triple 20. Then I bet another 80% are at the double 16 or double 20 for the out. Just a few clean up shots to set the double out up. Cricket is much, much more challenging! You can get into battles that never happen in 01 games. There is no strategy in 01 games. Bang the triple 20 more than your opponent. Nothing your opponent can do to slow you down or stop you. I will take cricket over 01 any day! I do like 01 mixed in with cricket very much. Shooting just one game continuously is so boring!
