Just to answer your question, The Dooo gets off the wall people coming at him. This guy that acted like they were talking about music they had played is just some of the stuff he deals with. My suggestion.....just go with it and it will either start making sense, or it won't. In either case trying to understand it is a futile response.
The Dooo is a rabbit hole on his own. As you proceed through his videos you will see he is fast becoming the most inspirational electric guitarist on the planet. Many say he's the reason they picked up the guitar.

The Dooo has been playing guitar for over 15 years, though much of the past 8 have been on youtube. His channel started by doing recordings of himself playing for the people in voice chat of Black Ops 2, and he would regularly take requests. I think that the experience of doing that is a big chunk of why he can play a huge number of popular songs at will. He and his friends are hilarious, they regularly release video game content and have a weekly podcast.
That's awesome definitely glad to know some backstory of course, he will be back on the channel again for sure, maybe even tomorrow lol!!!!!!!!!

I had this same reaction when I first encountered “god-level” talent when I was in software engineering in Seattle.
At first, it’s soul crushing to know no matter how much you practice or study you’ll never be as good. But in the end it lead to find what my own “god-level” talent is.

I recommend any guitarist to have a loop pedal just as a tool for your playing.. It helped my lead playing tremendously. Helps you with keys, timing, phrasing, etc...also a good way to figure out harmonies and how a melody will sound over the rhythm. 🤘🤘

Ethereal is my favorite original of his. So much soul in that song. Eclipse is my second favorite
If you do play guitar and you feel like the octave changes are difficult, you probably need to learn some basic guitar shapes for like, Major, Minor, and the pentatonics for each of those as well. You can also learn some basic music theory and it will take your guitar skills to the next level. Once you do understand those things, you will understand how TheDooo does some of the things he does. I'm not knocking his skill at all. He is an insane guitarist and musician, but it took me years to figure out that learning shapes and music theory were how to push my skills to the next level and just thought I would share.

A little backstory, a few years ago when his channel was just growing, people were amazed at his skills, of course, but also the fact that he was playing the most difficult stuff on an old $99 Squier guitar with worn out frets that he borrowed from his dad.
He managed to sort of outshine some people on the first shred collab on that entry level gear.
I think that was cool you should check out his latest video called play 2 guitars on Omegle and he has been doing this for a bout 10 year's or so

I've seen better guitar players overall, but I've never seen someone be able to listen to a random song for the first time and then turn around and masterfully shred it out like TheDooo can. He's like the Harry Mack of guitar improv.

If you want detailed look at what happened in yugoslavia in the 90's watch one great documentary called "weight of chains" it explains what happend with KiM near the end
