I like the exterior camera's. It's relaxing just watching you cruise down the road, going through the gears, seeing those puffs of smoke. Pretty relaxing.
To any truckers reading this: WE SALUTE YOU! I'm just a lowly motor coach operator, but always do my damndest to get out of your way, let you pass, let you fuel first, and you'll never see my high beams in your mirrors.
heck most of them motor coach operators blow past me when im doing 71 im usually the one getting out of the way
@@rollingacresfarmstead206 same here 65mph of get there eventually 😂
Be proud of what you do! Not everyone can drive a motor coach. I did part time and truly enjoyed meeting so many people . I worked for a limo company that had several motor coaches and worked weddings and tours from Washington DC area to roughly a 200 mile radius. 2 things, buses ride better than tractor trailers and it’s nice when you have your own restroom onboard too! You guys are very professional too and I have a lot of respect. I still drive and haul heavy equipment and think back with fond memories every time I see a motor coach. A lot of beautiful ones out there, To me, it’s like driving an oversize Cadillac and the drivers dress professionally also. Kudos to you brother and all your professional coach drivers.! Keep up the great work!👍🙏
We salute you brother. You're carrying the most precious cargo.
I'm not a truck driver at the moment but I plan on getting in that line of work when I'm done with my probation been thinking on which class of truck to go with im wanting a extended sleeper truck where I got plenty of room to be comfortable of the road when I'm at truck stops
I used to run 13 axle, 50 wheel oversize. My pilot car driver was an ex-lady bull hauler. One day she felt disrespected by a waitress in a Waffle House. She super glued the plate, the glass, the coffee cup, the silverware, the napkin, and the tip to the table. I'm just telling you what can happen if you hang with lady bull haulers!
It's nice to see somebody who's really driving a truck and not trying to be a showboat on video.
Riding with Dave has some decent driving too but he loves his stories so not sure if that would be your cup of tea or not. Great guy though!
He whine's too much though.
I didnt see any boats in the video.
Try watching “riding shotgun” also a fellow trucker who knows how to drive! I’m not saying I’m a driver, was just saying! 👍🏻
Showboats to the left Showboats to the right Showboats everywhere , more like Noboats !!!!!!
Legend has it, that officer is still there with that driver writing him tickets
He had a field day
Emptied his citation pad, had to have other leo bring more 🤪
More paper please 😂
My son, Cliff, has been an 18 wheeler for many years and was blessed he told dad to get me ready for a trip. 6 weeks on the road with him. Truly awesome! Got a true respect for 18 wheeler drivers. What a great education it was! I give them all the road they need. Cliff drives all across USA.
Thats a nice cab over Pete. Damn she sounds good!
They need to start making cab overs again. I love that style. So much easier to get around on tight roads.
not one liked your comment which is sad lots of us older guys drove cabovers in old days hauling gas linseed oil grain dry van reefer seems noone cares anymore about the storys we have to share
No cabovers! Danger! Because the cab is over the engine instead of behind it there is nothing between the driver’s head and a telegraph pole. His head will be smashed into a million pieces.
The trailer camera showing the stacks is damn awesome
this peterbilt is one of the coolest looking trucks ever made
It issss
Roger that
Right along with that 3 mile a gallon fuel bill lol I talked to a driver with a 79 cab over owned it since 1985 he gets about 4 miles a gallon on a great perfect weather day 3 mpg pulling hills and about 2.5 mpg in the wind he said there’s times he has to stop 2 times in a 11 hour shift to fully top off just to get 500 miles down the road
Cool doesn't make money paying for looks
@@ericbinney7635 : Yeah and diesel has been going up like gas.
Wow, I have been a trucker for the last 7 years, so I'm not exactly new to driving a tractor trailer, but you always have to keep the mindset that you'll learn something new every day. My problem is that there are WAY too many truckers that learn something new every second...like where to exit, and how to treat fellow truckers. Keep on trucking brother!
Love that bellering sound that Cat makes and that old Peterbuilt cab-over is so sweet!! Man-O-Man! Keep on trucking!
I am with you! His comments about music, wind noise, or silence on the trailer cam shots I wanted to answer that the purr of that kitty cat was the best. Also was fun watching the trailer cam on how the tractor and trailer suspensions reacted to bumps and dips in the road. Watched the trucks up ahead of me, when on the road, for things such as their suspension movements to warn of road conditions ahead. It was defensive driving, and yet like watching a dance or ballet. I always felt a big difference in the drivers was if driving was just a job to them, or if it was their life.
Never did I think I'd miss seeing all the roads close to home (jersey native). On top of hearing a 3406 ride the Jake's, you sir were probably one of many that made me love these trucks since I was a baby lol
As a former trucker from Europe i salute you. I love your videos, the truck ( cabover like my Iveco Turbostar, Daf 95, Daf 3600 ATI and Scania 113 Streamline), the sounds. Thanks man.
Man that motor sounds so sweet
That’s a brilliant view from the trailer gives a better prospective.
I'd hire an Old Guy with and Old Cab Over any day of the week...... theres a reason theyre still on the road ....
It's more about what happens during an accident I believe. New trucks are safer making it cheaper for the insurance company. Plus repairs are easier.
And he proving it
I just hate getting dressed then getting up but i drove enough miles in one started driving for mnx and back then if you were a company driver you drove cabovers eccept cfi
He ain't no old guy. Hes just a young man. He's pulling your leg with that old guy stuff.
@@dominick253 repairs are not eaiser on newer trucks lol, there more complicated with all the computers
I'm so used to seeing footage from inside the cab it's a refreshing change to view from outside especially with the go pro mounted on the trailer! Great video and hi there from the u.k🇬🇧🇺🇸
Camera on trailer has a good view
one of the best views on YT
@@HokeeFi I agree. A very commanding view of what is going on around the truck.
Who in the hell thought it'd be a good idea to ship 5 gallon pails on a flatbed? I could understand if they were in crates, but those looked like stretch wrapped pallets.
Ole cabover doing a hell of a good job. Liking the camera work and content,Thanks for the videos.
Thanks for all the great videos. I drove a cabover Pete back in the 70s. Coast to coast & border to border; loved every minute of it.
Thanks for the memories. I forgot how beautiful the Delaware water gap was in the fall. I can still remember having to use old route 46 before I-80 was built. There was a place called Hot Dog Johnnies not far from the gap in NJ on 46 that had the best deep fried dogs and frosted mugs of birch beer. All the trucks used to stop there until 80 came through.
Cool story. Thank you!
@JAG I know just where you are talking about. I used to lease to Vanguard before they sold out to NuBulk (a Chemical Leaman Co). I bought more hotdogs then I could eat because of her.
I love the sound of the j-breaking 😍
Love listening to jamming gears, the engine, and the Jake Brake!!! Miss it!!!! Thank you! Stay safe, and healthy.
It doesn't make you a truck driver
Then what does it make u then
@@robertthompson944 who asked you?
I miss it too.Its y were here!!
New paint slogan: "It goes the extra mile!" or "Coverage from state to state!"
17:40 Buttzville??? Bahahahaha!
Oh yeah...that area of PA has some good names...Intercourse, Bird in Hand, Mount Joy.
Man, driving a COE!! You don't see those bad boys on the road much anymore. Love the sound of that Jake Brake!!! What year is your truck? Hope it didn't get too splattered with paint when you drove through it. What a mess. Keep on Trucking and God Bless you in your travels!! God bless ALL you truckers out there!!. Stay safe and thank you for your dedication to your job!!!
Funny how I just looked at the surroundings and remember just where you were. Traveled that road for 30 years. Safe travels!
Keep on. Trucking Steve that truck u own is a beautiful truck she is running like a charm keep trucking Steve she is a star to the road
This truck remind me of the good old days when Trucking was fun when there was chauffeur's license no CDL not even a logbook
@James Wright I didn't know they come out with log books that early I started in the 70s my bad
@James Wright you wanted to be truthful about it it started in 1938 I started driving trucks in the early seventies it wasn't enforced like that PS and I don't give a f***
@James Wright I don't have no logbook troubles I don't want to drive no damn truck now no more than four or five hours a day I don't care how you drive it all day all night all week call me when you get rich at the s*** it ain't going to happen peace
@James Wright let me put this in there make sure you get it I can't see it I don't give a f*** about the local government I don't give a f*** about the union I don't give a f*** about the local Authority I don't give a f*** about your drivers in the past I've got mine peace
@James Wright if you had that many trucks you would have enough business not to be fussing with me on this phone over some petty s*** you be somewhere handling your damn business
I really enjoy your videos. It's good to see there are still drivers out there that have an abundance of common sense. It's a trait that is sorely lacking out there.
Your observation is not limited to truckers....
My dad used to say the H stood for Hallelujah!🤣. And I love that cab over Pete!
Lmfao makes sense
Harold. “Harold be thy name.” 😉
Yup.. it’s Harold.
I thought it was "Howard"!
@@edwatts9890 😂
Jesus Holly Christ or Jesus Hallelujah Christ
*Herald (Messenger or Prophet)
The two drivers in the beginning that almost missed the exits are saying.." I'M not from around here" 😁
Not from this planet, I guess. I'm not going to pretend I never missed an exit but you take the next one, damn it.
Doesn't matter where your from. Your number one responsibility is to pay attention. This goes for everyone driving anything. Pay attention.
Yeah but they are saying it in a foreign language and that’s no joke like their driving was
When I see big rigs, reminds of my childhood when my father drove truck back in the 1970’s. The best times of my life revolved around my father and that truck.
As a retired truck driver, I find that half the drivers out on the roads today, shouldn’t be! No courtesy, and very little skill! I used to be proud to tell people I was a Professional truck driver, now I am embarrassed to admit it!
I’m no trucker, but the ‘shit, Im gonna miss my exit’ two lane crossover had to have been learned here in Utah.
I laughed because I'm in Utah and see this on the regular but can't understand why in the hell people do it.
@@steveeab2364 Because the drivers here are brain dead. The second they get behind the wheel, their brains fall out of their asses, plain and simple. It seems like that on a daily basis, and I'm sure it's not just here, that people love to cut off the big rigs at most given chances, or hurry and cut in front of them with little room to spare. The truckers aren't without fault (neither am I) and I've seen some dumb ass driving on all parts.
To all truckers out there, please be safe.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@craigjensen789 texas drivers are the worst ive ever seen lol. I swear you have to force yourself to drive like a dumbass so you dont get into a wreck.
@@z0ffi928 I45 a great place to play bumper cars
Thank you for letting us ride along, AWESOME we get to get out through you guys. This is our only way of traveling... my brother and I were in an accident, we are wheelchair bound, in our minds we are co-driver and it's a beautiful feeling for us to join you... Thank you for accepting us to travel with y'all... AWESOME.
Hii. So sorry for what happened! I feel like I was there too watching the video! I love this channel!
Nice cabover bud. Always liked the older trucks. 😀👍
One of the best trucking videos out their...multiple views mixed with commentary.....freaking love the sound of your badazz cab over driver....could listen to that all day....
Almost got a free paint job on that rusty ass rim!! It's going to be a long winter 😆
So thats where all that paint came from saw that the other week
A little music for a passage of time kind of thing is ok, but I love listening to the wind and the engine. I feel like I'm there along for the ride!
Exactly what I was thinking
Yea want to hear the Jake break sing
Same here!!
It’s a new breed of drivers out there. I can’t believe the stuff these guys do but yet, they think they are in a 4 wheeler. I’m glad I retired before all the electronics kicked in and drove with the best years ago.
The top view is really cool , love this
Finally a truly good trucker, holding the rig strait 100% of the time! 👏👏🍻
I'm surprised all that paint didn't cause others to lose control and wreck. Love the older cabover!!!
What are the odds, I drove through that paint spill about six weeks ago going to PA from NH to pick up a truck. And here I see it on RUclips, now I know the story!!!
I remember coming out of Jersey that day and seeing that paint spill on the eastbound side. What a mess!
Yeah, and I bet the people that wanted to paint there houses are really bitching.
You picked up my subscription on the view alone!!! Good job man!!
Just found this channel through the home page. Epic video. Simple but awesome footage. Could a listen to your truck growl away all day long! Respect from the UK ✊🏻
Love watching your truck cruising down the highway. Awesomely mesmerising camera angle up on the fire truck. Love your work.
I think you should be in the right lane a minimum of 1 mile prior to the exit. Backing up because you missed an exit should be permanent license revocation. That shit is so dangerous to traffic behind. Somebody’s gonna get killed pulling that bonehead move.
Good candidate for "Bonehead Truckers" channel?
Welcome to the northeast where most trailer drivers licenses are from Guatemala lmao!
Steve please don’t come to California then because I think idiot drivers breed here
Aw man, that truck provides a beautiful soundtrack. 😋
Nice footage!. Brought back some good old memories from all that area... thank you.
Really great work putting this together.
Some great scenery on this route. Watch out for those crazy careless drivers!
I love that cabover man. She sounds great. Stay safe driver
I feel your pain man
Some of these drivers man
Keep on keepin' on man
When I got my CDL cb radio and headset was out of the question. So glad I have them both and use them to make a safe trip. Never realized how important these items are until I need them for traffic and some company pick up locations.
I’ve always said Jesus H Christ I’ve decided H stands for hector. Pisses my wife off every time I say it lol
It's weird how I was just thinking that his middle name is Hector
I believe it stands for Holy. His actual last name, if they had them back then, is unknown. He’s just known as Jesus of Nazareth. Christ is his title, not his last name. He is The Christ.
That is one good lookin cabover
Those were some nice trucks overtaking around 8:30 - 10:30, mind.
Great job. I am retired (70) now from long haul but I still miss it everyday. I know you boys put up with a lot but there's nothing like being a driver.
i prefer the inside the cab shot/angle
Same here along with commentary.
I like how he does it now, multiple shots. Bit of commentary, bit of the great scenery.
Thank you for taking the time and uploading the videos. Thank you for running a cabover; as you know they are rare these days. .I prefer the interior shots with views from the cabover. Not a fan of the music; would rather hear what you have to say about what you see and the challenges / benefits of running a cabover.
@@Scotsborn1314 the only thing I didn't like was the music. I assume the wind noise was nuts on the trailer video at highway speeds.
The outside view and rear view is rare on other channels
Good looking truck. Old school rule.
Ooo love the sound of that downshifting at 3:30 ish 👍🏻👍🏻 love watching your vids from this side of the pond sir, keep em coming
A bad batch of rookies out there 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Loved the views when I drove through pa in the mountains! Keep on trucking brother thanks for the amazing content an remember stay humble
Love the growl of them stacks could listen to them all day
The “H” stands for holy!
Thanks Phil very cool 😎
I thought it was herbert
Nah! It's Harlan.
Henry.
Actually his Hebrew name is yehoshu’s ! Look it up those that say I am wrong.
For an ugly old cabin over, that's a good looking old cabin over. Hard to believe I drove one of those when it was new. Changed companies and they gave me a cabover Cornbinder with a 444 Cummins. That was THE motor back in the day. Thanks for the memories brother.
Great one hero! Beautiful scenery this time of year. Thanks for the ride. Truckem safe! Later😎
I'm a retired driver and my son rolls a portable skateboard for a company out of Saginaw, MI (Big purple freights). You have some really great videos. Thank you for sharing. Keep the rubber on the road and stay safe out there
Work right off exit 310 did know till a few minutes ago where the paint came from. Lol love the truck stay safe out there
I live about minutes from exit 310
Love that Cat’s purr!
Just subscribed , absolutely cracking truck sounds sweet easy to recognise your a class one driver, no messing around just crack on with your job, good on you bud 🇬🇧
Hello mate, the lack of a head board on flat beds in the states always puzzles me, would that paint incident have happened if it was loaded up to a head board? I couldn’t tell if it was loaded to the front of the deck. Thanks for another enjoyable trip along with you.👍🇬🇧 all the best from Liverpool 🇬🇧
It could have pushed out of the side as well, but not as bad I'm sure. Loads like this need to be packaged better or not shipped on open trailers.
And these people are the reasons why truckers are called “professionals”
My dad 55 years. Grandpa too
@@jglaboratory yeah my dad and grandpa too but atleast they knew where the exit was before they got there
Like your truck. My Grandfather owned a roadservice repair for years back in the 70's before he got too sick to work it anymore. I worked for him when I was 15 during the summer. I respect you professional drivers.
Camera in the cab and in the trailer! Your shots are great!
Beautiful video of autumn in Pennsylvania. Nice cinematography as usual. I never get tired of watching.
Jake brakes are just
Perfect
Nice truck BTW
Notice how when you got to PA they got whipped into shape. Uh huh. That's right. That's cuz we keep ours in line 🤣
If Schugal management see's that video, that driver will be fired.
Safe travels sir.
That’s right by my house. Tons of idiots traveling that corridor from stroudsburg to Columbia. Stay safe
Like the sound a the wind, and exhaust, only thing missin is the smell.😉👍 nice rig too.
I really enjoy you videos. I think you do a great job overall. I like seeing the loading and unloading of the cargo as well as the journey to your destinations. Fuelling and eating is always good to have so you can comment on it.
Great truck, love the cabover. It is hardcore compared to the Cadillac trucks out there. Keep it up and look forward to the next one.
I got an idea let's hear some Jake brakes I want to hear this cabover purr!! I know that 3406-B can do it
Great camera localization with the fire truck. Felt like a live action video game.
I can’t believe that you think they. Actually have a cb or even know how. To operate one.
I was thinking the same thing Driver...... Its A Thing of the Past. Ahhhh the good old Days when Truckin was Fun.
Thanks for the ride steve, enjoyed as always
Definitely some drivers from the ding-a-ling department. As for the paint; much of that is on the shipper. Not packed properly to ship on a flatbed.
It would be more on the person who loaded it not doing it correctly
Man I had to subscribe because this guy has a bad ass Cab Over. Hopefully we get to see him extend the frame for an even better looking rig. Nice jobs sir!
Don’t be miserable shout the old girl a new set of shiney dive rims she is an amazing old truck
This is the best trucking channel, The camera angles are fantastic, Great to see the other trucks passing, The black smoke coming out the twin stacks on gear changes, Looking forward to the next video.
thats freakin halarious that someone dragged one all that way xD
I think that driver should have gotten 10% of the load for “hauling it” that far!
Absolutely love your truck the old cab overs look so much better then the new ones and you can actually see where your going
Hope you have a great turkey day Steve !
I like the camera view from the top of the skateboard. New looks.
