This is one of the best teaching videos I've ever watched. You went straight to the point, provided analogies where needed and went into just the right amount of details on how signals are split with FFT. You sir are a great teacher!
You're such a great teacher dude. Sooo good. I've been trying to wrap my head around DSP for so long. The way you just summarized Fourier transforms and then used that summary to explain capacitors so effortlessly is seriously impressive. You have a gift...Thank you.
@@hrvstmusic Right!? I've watched hour long videos on that subject, and he just casually summarized it in a completely understandable way, in order to explain something else! He's got no right to be this concise! I came to learn about one thing, and he taught me two.
You got a talent. Came here for voltage regulator stuff specifically. For some reason I thought caps in data sheets are there to do timing like 555 does but in mysterious way. Now I got it. Thank you.
Wow your format and style is brilliant. I never felt like tuning out at any point which is a first for me. I left this video with a good understanding of decoupling capacitors and their role in the cicuit. Fourier transforms are now something to be studied, not feared
Man....I wish I had you in my Electrical Engineering classes 30 years ago. We STARTED with formulas, not practical conversation, understanding, and application. Good teachers make a difference.
Maaaaaan...i cant believe it. Im understanding more what you are teaching in english than what i learnt from my teachers in spanish, fancy that they are great. But you are clear and go to the point...AWESOME !!!! You got a subscriber my friend...BLESS!!
Just adding another note that you're an excellent teacher. Just what I need to understand some of these rando electronics projects that I'm working on as a hobbyist. Thank ya my dude.
I am 4 minutes in, and you my man are a blessing. I hope you are doing phenomenal in life because you deserve it ! Unmatched explanation and expression of yourself, a true genius is a man who can explain it so all can understand.
You are amazing! It's a shame when society puts people in boxes and devalues those who do so much. I am a physicist (although I currently steam clothes in a charity shop) but all that means is I have a certificate to prove what I can do. You are a bus driver and you can do the stuff also. Taking away the fear of being unable to learn and teaching so well. We were always told in physics that the best demonstration of understand something is the ability to teach it to others. You are a master at learning and teaching and video editing as well as an inspiration. Well done and hoping you are well!
Man you are so GOOD I bet your superiors always talk about you as the 'practical guy', the 'electrician' just to cover up the fact that you are worth 10000 times more the money they earn, and that you should run their entire development section of the business if the want to get things done outside of meeting rooms.
Very good job sir. What I find excellent is that you don't act cool when expaining things by doing analogies, moves and sounds. You're naturally cool and funny, but still getting my full attention, which deserves respect ! Not many like you for sure :)
I LOVE HOW YOU TEACH! So glad I found your video's, well explained! Quality pictures of just what your speaking about and not to much at once while explaining! Love it! Can't wait to explore more of your work! Thanks for the videos!
best explanation video ever. After watching this I learned more than my Engineering college course where you only have to vomit answers on exam paper to get good marks. I really mean it man thanks for such cool explanations.
Oh, I like this guy. "Interesting and informative", as they say, with little gems thrown in like how this is the same principle for filters and why. Definite keeper!
Bahaha, you tube just sent me this as a suggestion. Loved it as always, but totes made me smile at the end when you said "eventually I'll have my oscilloscope" ...... I've learnt much of what I know from looking at your silly scope. Thanks again for all your efforts with these vids over the last couple of years.....👍
When I posted a comment the other day, I didn't read any other post before I did and I'm glad that other people feel the same way. It made me think deeper into it and I have to say you have a unique teaching talent. 1 out of 100 educators (not 1 out or 100 people) have this blessing. I would say 80% of it comes from the heart not the brain. I tell teachers all the time that what they do is a calling, and if it's all about the paycheck do something else.
Thanks for your effort man !!! This is exactlynwhat MAKES A DIFFERENCE ...as you Didn't just throw arround bunch of Highly technical JARGON words : Defibriltiv oscilativ cincilations .... but you took 1 = decoupling and put detailed explanation WHAT THIS REALY MEANS !!! Reminds me of a one particular book ; ... from many decades ago ...
I agree with Fahad Ghenaim this guys is fantastic. I learnt more in his few minutes tutorial than what I spent learning about capacitors during my whole life!!! Do more on other components. Who need schools when you have him Thanks.
From my wheelhouse (level of experience and knowledge) of the basic principles, I was taken to a tad or more over my head and yet, somehow not out of my league in a very strange way. I got lost for a second by trying to figure out what you were NOT explaining. Suddenly..."BAM!" I am with you again and the "over my head" bits were a part of new information with which I began the hardest part of gaining an education...understanding. I am so very much impressed. Thank you!
If only all tutors were as good at conveying complex things in such easily comprehensible terms and language the world would be a much smarter place. Thanks for helping me to understand properly.
This is the best video on the subject I have seen. Simple and detailed explanation. I think this is exactly how it should be taught in universities. All the formulas and other theoretical bullshit can be learned right when your jump onto circuit design. Man, you just make everyone realize how the modern education is fucked up.
Hey dude, i dont usually comment on videos, but you should know these videos are really great and a +1 view/thumb doesnt cut it. Liked and subbed great job.
..largely "unmolested"....hahaha...but I really need to thank you, cuz I am an Autodiadact trying to expand my horizon of knowledge, as my recent profession seem not to be as rewarding as I had anticipated, the region of the world where I am, and I have drenched myself without any form of shortcut but learn everything I feel to give me the "principle of how other things work" so I can confidently equip myself for computer and engineering and mathematics, I stumbled on your video and best by far seem to give me eureka moments as to how many things seeming difficult now simpler and I can intuitively understand and even teach it to a 5year old... Thank you for being a lumination to my journey, however I am also open to other opportunities to make this journey equally financially rewarding...thank you sir
Dude, this is magnificent! It would've been a great explanation even without the sound effects but seriously, the sound effects just drives it home 😀 "let's say your current goes like doo do doo do doo bwoop", "That's why I like batteries. It has a voltage and over time it just goes ngeeeeeooooouuw", "at the beginning you're gonna be down here and then go voooonyeaau because the capacitor is charging." All video explanations should be like this!
Really well explained in an enjoyable way. Love the analogy of flow with a cement truck delivery (14:15)! 😆 You seem to have stopped making videos 2 years ago, I hope all is well and we will see some more soon. Thank-you. 👍👍
This just popped up in my recommended videos and I'm glad I clicked. Excellent explanation! I'm digging through the rest of your videos now and am enjoying them a lot. You've got a new sub here and I hope you get many more!
Interesting fact: the cochlea / basilar membrane in your inner ear basically performs a fourier decomposition of the incoming sound waves, where each part vibrates at it own characteristic frequency.
This stuff is cool, rebuilt a power supply for a radiola 60, gotta get rid o that a.c. ripple filter choke coils also used, and eelctro-dynmic speakers used an electro-magnet instead of a magnet and that lectro-magnet was used to smooth out the ripple.
Great video. You have a talent for speaking in layman's where needed, which is refreshing. If you're not a professional teacher of some sort, you should be ... but I guess you are, on RUclips :)
I understood that the term bypass capacitor is not interchangeable with the term decoupling capacitor as bypass capacitors are used to remove the effects of inductance from impeding current demand, whereas decoupling capacitors would be for removing the dc components on an otherwise and wanted AC signal
Really, man, I don't care what you're gonna teach, I'm into it. Come back, already.
You haven’t made a new video in three years, but people (me) are still getting value from your videos. Thank you!
Very much agreed!!!!
I just hope he's okay... He's one of the best teachers I've ever had.
this channel is an undiscovered gem
You just explained what my professor can't in a two-hour lecture! THANKS!
@G E T R E K T lol that s mean
this guy is pretty good too ruclips.net/video/ARwBwHZESOY/видео.html&ab_channel=RobertFeranec
And he explained it for free and in a much better way than professors do
This is one of the best teaching videos I've ever watched. You went straight to the point, provided analogies where needed and went into just the right amount of details on how signals are split with FFT. You sir are a great teacher!

The FFT explanation is not what I was expecting when I clicked on this video but holy shit I’ve been looking for that explanation for a while too.
@@hrvstmusic Right!? I've watched hour long videos on that subject, and he just casually summarized it in a completely understandable way, in order to explain something else! He's got no right to be this concise! I came to learn about one thing, and he taught me two.
@@camerondavis731 straight up tho. got my subscription and now going over some of his other videos. I hope he's doing alright.

Man....I wish I had you in my Electrical Engineering classes 30 years ago. We STARTED with formulas, not practical conversation, understanding, and application. Good teachers make a difference.
I think you have done a great job in educating the basics. The Basics are the most important elements to understand the physics in the real world.
Maaaaaan...i cant believe it. Im understanding more what you are teaching in english than what i learnt from my teachers in spanish, fancy that they are great. But you are clear and go to the point...AWESOME !!!!

This guy is amazing, I actually watch his videos from start to finish.
The sound effects took this lecture from perfect to legendary. Your content is the best sir.
Hey...i was brought here by searching and trying to understand the term ... decoupling cap.
I hope you keep this channle going for a long time.
I am 4 minutes in, and you my man are a blessing.
I hope you are doing phenomenal in life because you deserve it !
Unmatched explanation and expression of yourself, a true genius is a man who can explain it so all can understand.
I have a rudimentary knowledge about FFT. It is so great to hear your analogies. It makes my fragments of knowledge jive...
You are such a great teacher. Sad that you don't post videos any more. But hope you are doing well in life

I was impressed with the high pitches attained in addition to how excellently all of this was explained. Cheers.

What !!? Only 300 views ?? This should have a million views. Everything is well explained and very informative.
Says there will be no math and then gives a really quite excellent pure math lesson to beyond what most people ever hear about.

Now I understand capacitors approximately 3.2x better than before. Thank you!
Can't stop watching.. no words, just loved it, best technical video with interesting example..!!

Loved this, really wish our professors back at uni explained this stuff so intuitively and clearly as you did!
hope you are doing well man! cheers
What a great lecture… my dude! you deserve every praise possible for this video!
Your explanations are amazingly compact! Well done!
Simply put you explained capacitor's function in a dc circuit clearly. Thanks
Glad to hear it, friend.
This just popped up in my recommended videos and I'm glad I clicked. Excellent explanation! I'm digging through the rest of your videos now and am enjoying them a lot. You've got a new sub here and I hope you get many more!
Dude just got himself a subscriber. That's really well explained!
video so irresistible ... love it ... you are a master teacher ... A+
Please do more videos. Very informative, and excellent audio and luminosity.
You explained everything clearly and talked theory, practice and applications. Very rich video. Keep up the good content. Subscribed.
I have many years of electronics schooling. If you had been my instructor I would have had a much easier time understanding this stuff.
New subscriber here, your teaching style really syncs with how I learn 👍
thank you for that extremely good explanation
i descovered your channel yesterday!!
Dude i've been binge watching your chanel! Amazing tutorials and explanations. Hope you get some more recognition in future👍 thank you!
I know all this by heart, but I still couldn't resist watching :D
I seriously love your lessons.
This video convinced me to start putting decoupling capacitors on my custom development boards.
Awesome video! Subscribed, l like the way you explain things. Keep up the great work, you help a lot of people out there to grasp essential things.
Great explanation, you have a gift for this please keep using it!
This is the solution to all my problems! Thanks for your great videos :)

this explanation is pure gold, thank you sir!

Thank you!!!! Great explanation with just enough detail to expand our minds.
A master ! In one take i understood everything.
I really like your instruction! Well done! Subscribed.
You sir need to make more videos.... Holly shit you'd be a good teacher.
Simply Amazing!! Thank you for sharing your talents..
Sir your videos are insane, thank you very much !
Love your approach… math without math is much better for me.
