the difference 되 vs 돼

돼 is contracted form of 되어
just remember only one Verb, "되다 become/ok/works"
Verb 되다 (O) : only verb
Verb 돼다 (X) : 돼다 does NOT exist
That means we are going to check only 2 things
1. we use only 되
2.
if the following syllable is 어 : 되어 = 돼
if the following syllable is NOT 어 : 되 nothing change

되 + 고
will be a hot summer
더운 여름이 될 거예요

Very very good lesson, I instantly understood the difference! I can't believe I have a book who says they're the same thing 😮. Ah, the entire time, I was thinking " isn't the second part of the third sentence on the left a mistake? I was so proud when you "corrected" it. It meant I really got it. Thank you 😊
