Got on a plane for the first time for this and flew across the country, met my internet best friend of 7 years for the first time, and took her to her first Excision sets. We're now moving in together next month :) I'll never forget the feeling of hugging her for the first time and seeing her face when those lasers popped out. Holy fuck...I haven't been dabbling in dubstep for a long time, but I can see that Excision still knows how to throw a sick ass party! Hats off to the team responsible for this amazing lightshow as well!
After making it into the show enough to have an analysis, levels are definitely off in some spots. Distorted sounds a tad much to say and I like to think I'm an audiophile. The production of his shows never ceases to amaze.

Working in the world of Broadcast/Film this has to be one of the most well produced concert productions I’ve ever seen! Breaks all the rules in video and I love it so much! Notes have been taken.
I am scratching my head at how they achieved those floaty/shaky camera effects. It has that VR/fisheye lens look to it but the camera movement is insane!
I swear, the shot at 1:56 goes so hard, with the girl shouting and raising her fist. I could rewatch this a billion times I believe it must have been crazy at 35:20 59:28, another banger drop Raise cameramans, it transmits emotions so well!
Being an old school raver/dj/record shop owner, I can say I've had my reservations about Dubstep. The sounds are intense, but the beat was like a broken, drunk DnB. As a techno and tech trance dj, it just seemed too gangsta style for me, if that makes sense. HOWEVER, this show is one giant, soul changing orgasm. Forget the absolutely stunning laser and light show, which is the best I've ever seen. The track selection, the drops, the flow, the smooth smooth transistions...even with my eyes closed this set moves my body out of my own control. Absolutely one of the top 5 sets I've een, and I've been raving since 1994. I've seen Frankie Bones lift a stadium of 50,000 from their feet into a jumping mass of madness. I've seen Micro mesmerize the crowd at 6 am, while the sun was rising, with a techno remix of Riders on the Storm, people coming down but still losing their minds, I've seen Lenny Dee absolutely control a crowd into craze at Randall's Island. You probably don't know those names. Trust me. You young ones, you need to treasure this guy and support him. He is not anything but extraordinary.

Damn, seeing Excision live is now on my bucketlist! He was my favorite back in 2011-2013 when dubstep really exploded, haven't listend to anything new but this show and the songs are fucking killer!
I nor anyone in my house was ready for this. At one point, I left my physical body and started moshing with it. The ottoman never stood a chance. Grandpas ashes began to levitate and he was reborn as some sort of Cyborg Dinosaur and moshed a hole through the wall, there is an ongoing Police search. Windows throughout the house were vaporized by the bass. I now have multiple broken pieces of furniture, 2 blown speakers, a missing goldfish, a hybrid ghost on the loose, 37 noise complaints, a long meeting with the insurance company and HOA, and I lost my pants. 15/10 would recommend watching.

There’s a lot of sets I’ve seen of excision but I always keep coming back to this one in particular. Just too fucking good
I nor anyone in my house was ready for this. At one point, I left my physical body and started moshing with it. The ottoman never stood a chance. Grandpas ashes began to levitate and he was reborn as some sort of Cyborg Dinosaur and moshed a hole through the wall, there is an ongoing Police search. Windows throughout the house were vaporized by the bass. I now have multiple broken pieces of furniture, 2 blown speakers, a missing goldfish, a hybrid ghost on the loose, 37 noise complaints, a long meeting with the insurance company and HOA, and I lost my pants. 15/10 would recommend watching.
Also, whoever did the videos for this is a GOD. this was AMAZING.
