Thanks for the review, Christopher. I've wondered about this one (being relatively new to the Sony lineup). I've just started my review of the Sigma 16mm f/1.4 DN lens, and early impressions (very early) are favorable.
Excellent review as always Chris, thanks!! I'm so happy you have started playing with the Sony a6300 and lenses for it. Once I got my a6500 I sold off my Canon cameras. If Sony could only just up the game on their lens lineup a tiny bit, I could stop using adapted Canon EF mount lenses so much...
I bought this lens in 2015 for 210€ from French Amazon for my old Sony NEX-3 camera. Afterwards the price was increased. It is one of the most popular lenses for APS-C e-mount cameras. It proved really sharp and excellent for its money. It can't be compared with the full frame nifty fifty 50mm f/1.8 for full frame Canon, Nikon or Sony cameras because its angle of view is much narrower. The minimum ISO of my Sony NEX-3 camera is 200 and the fastest shutter speed is 1/4000sec. That is two stops above the usual ISO 100 and 1/8000sec. So with this lens under daylight at f/1.8 I need an ND filter otherwise I can't have shallow depth of field. The optical stabilization of the sony 50mm f/1.8 isn't impressive. It has a 49mm filter thread which is typical of nearly all small e-mount lenses by Sony. It is affordable and a great choice after the typical retractable power zoom 16-50mm f/3.5-6 OSS kit lens by Sony. It is much sharper and above all it offer good shallow depth of field which is impossible with kit lenses. It has an aluminum exterior but in reality everything inside except the elements is plastic.
@@Merinox I did buy the 50mm f1.8 OSS. The performance is way beyond the kit zooms (55-210 and 16-50) According to DXOmark this is as best you can get for low CA and distortion. It never goes on sale though.... which might tell us something too.
Funny, how your review on this lens just came in. I just closed a deal to get a used copy of the 50 f1.8 OSS last Sunday. I'll pick it up this coming Saturday locally. This lens cost U$300 in our country. Got it for less than U$200. I already know about this lens from other reviews and was debating of getting this or the FE 50 f1.8 so that I can still use that if I switch to 35FF bodies later on. But this seems to fit tailor made for aps-c. It's optical qualities if used in aps-c sensors make it lead a bit vs the FE version. The E version seems to be slightly sharper especially at the corners. The AF is also snappier vs the FE version. And it has OSS too which the FE does not have. With the price of the A7R iii still beyond my reach, I would be best serve getting the proper lenses for my a5100. The A7R iii is a bit too pricey in our country in introduction at U$3,500 (with an extra batt + 64gb sd card). I think I'll just wait for the A7 iii or better, till 2020, when the price of the A7R iii goes down to U$2,400 just prior to the release of the A7R iv. Add to the fact that such 42mp camera requires good lenses too, so that is another problem to solve. I can always shoot at crop mode and get about 18-19mp, still good for the 50 f1.8 OSS when the time comes. With that long wait, and the money involved, I think I best just concentrate on aps-c for now. Right now, I also have the 16-50 kit (which is a fine lens though slow). I also have the 55-210 for range, though I hardly use this. And the excellent 18-105 f4 OSS PZ. I don't have a fast lens, so the 50 f1.8 OSS will just fit the bill. It solve my low light or fast lens handicap, and give me a decent portrait lens too (75mm equiv). I'm well covered now, except maybe getting a 35 f1.8 OSS as well later (I should have taken that one for U$250 when it was offered to me) or a sigma 30 f1.4 DN DC. That should complete my semi-wide angle/normal and fast lens . And this leads me to think that this 50 f1.8 OSS and the 35 f1.8 OSS complement each other well. Maybe put a fast 12mm too if one wants the wider focal length. Thanks, Christopher for another fine review! :)
This lends hands down is a must-buy for any aps-c user Sony shooter. For what you get and a cheap price this is a must-buy it will be the sharpest lens in your first line of lenses and is a great starter point. Disciplines is incredibly sharp you can find it for under $300.
this lens is from 2012 and was designed for the first NEX devices with a 16 Mpix sensor. I've since switched to FF, but still keep APS-C for secondary use. I have already replaced all the lenses (mostly APS-C Sigma F1.4 lenses), but this Sony 50/1.8 OSS is the only one I still keep even on the 24 Mpix a6300. OSS does a great job and even the much better Sigma 56/1.4 didn't make me sell this Sony 50 :-)
Bro can you please reply me--- Iam using the Sony ZV e10 cam with Lense sony 50mm 1.8 OSS. Photo graphy is Fine with Full screen, but when we take videos its getting cropped. I want videos in full screen , please let me know if there is any other settings to get videos without crop
I have sigma 30mm f1.4 dc dn lens. And this one. Sony 50mm oss is slightly more snappier and accurate than sigma 30mm f1.4 dc dn And Cristopher, I agree with you %100 about sharpness. In other reviews comparison with Sigma 56mm, They claim this lens is way softer. Such bad photos i've seen in reviews even worse than the kit lens. But yeah, this lens is sharp. And accurate. I loved it on my a6000 And i shoot portrait video without distortion and without hand shake. This is sth. I agree with you again.
I really like this lens on my A6000. In fact, it's probably the sharpest lens I own. I love the bokeh it makes. I've seen busy bokeh some of my legacy lenses make. Now, I have an A7ii, this lens works amazingly well on it in APS-C mode. I will eventually get the SEL50F18F lens, but maybe I don't need it.
Thanks for the review . I have been looking at these, though I have many other lenses in this range including the Sigma 60mm F2.8 Art, but I am sure the OSS and better AF might make this one worth the premium.
Hi Matthew, I have both lenses and...may I say: the Sigma is a killer in sharpness. I'm not really convinced with that Sony. For my taste it is too soft (by the way the bokeh is really nice, better than the Sigma). Also a bit warmer look (camera jpg) as the Sigma. But if I want to take picture (mostly portrait) in this focal lenght range...I take always the Sigma. Also than the Sony price is maybe relatively low, it is (IMHO) not a premium category. Regards
Hi Csaba, i had both lenses too a few months ago. I sold the sigma because at f2.8, the image quality is really the same. Impossible to get a big winner. Too close even if the Sigma is a little bit sharper. BUT, the Sony have OSS and a better AF, and can go f1.8. So this is a really better choice for sure at this price ! For proxy pictures, it was the same results. But the stabilisation really help a lot. Now, i have the 30mm and 16mm dc dn f1.4 from Sigma. And this is just some awesome lenses ! Here some pictures from my collection with theses lenses : www.flickr.com/photos/romainchaffin/collections/72157691270681785/ Best Regards.
Excellent lens! Quite distracting bokeh imo, but not a big deal, and it's really so neat to have OSS in a small, fast prime like this. More APS-C primes like this, Sony!
Hi I have this lens for my a6000. I also bought an A7ii and the full frame FE 50m F1.8 recently. I am hoping to get the 55mm zeiss lens at some point (read that it is one of the best) . I am now wondering whether I should return the full frame 50 mm lens and just save up for the 55 zeiss? What are your thoughts? Is that worth it. Also could I use my aps-c 50mm lens on the full frame A7ii? Or is it worth keeping the full frame 50mm as well?
Hello there, Christopher! I love your videos, you've helped me a lot with lots of lenses. Will you create a video about Sigma's 24-70 lens? I'm extremely curious about it's quality and optical stabilization. Thank you for what you're doing! Cheers.
Excellent review!...just bought this a few days ago for my olf mirrorless NEX and not sure whether to keep it or swap for 35mm (comment left on your review of Sony 35mm OSS lens). Anyway, I almost bought the Sony 50mm without the OSS which is cheaper and the guy at the store told me even tho it does not have OSS, it does in fact have "better glass"...is this true or was he just pulling my leg?
maybe a good value lens to try in the e mount system is the Sigma 2.8 30mm art. Extremely sharp lens. It was even discounted at 119£ a year ago when I bought it
Would you recommend this over the Sony FE 50mm for the a7ii? Seen both your reviews on the two lens, and it seems to me this one is miles better than the FE one, despite it having being a 75mm equivalent.
Good review! My findings from shooting with this lens are the same. I have a Sony a6500 with Sigma 16mm 1.4, Sigma 30mm 1.4, and this Sony 50mm 1.8 lens. This lens is by far the weakest of the three. I agree that it starts getting sharp at about f4. When aperture is wide open, sharpness is similar to a better phone camera which fakes the sharpness with raised clarity, but when you zoom in it's not really sharp. This is of course a problem in low light when I need to open the aperture, or if I want really really shallow depth of field, cause in that case, even the part of the image that is in focus is not really in focus, it's just the least blurry. Like you said, it doesn't really have the character, and bokeh is so so. If Sigma made 50mm lens in the same class as 16mm and 30mm lenses(which are similar price range as the sony 50mm 1.8), that lens would've been much better than this Sony lens.
I have had this lens for nearly 2 years. Just like you, I find the little niggles to be distracting (like the nervous bokeh). I am keeping it, for now, until I upgrade to my next camera (I primarily use Canon).
I have a question on a remark you mentioned about autofocus being slow. If a lens auto focuses slower it can actually effect the video capabilities in tracking a subject? (I don't do video and when I do it's not something that usually moves much anyways)
Ah yes the nifty fifty. A worthy lens to own at a pretty decent price. Though, at 75mm effective you have to accept its limitations. As in use limitations. It is not a great group portrait lens ;) Good to see that they offer a good quality E mount model. And didn't skimp out cheapening it out.
Hi Christopher, have you reviewed the Sony 50mm F2.8 Macro lens? I can't find it in your channel. If you are bored and want a lens to test, please add it to your list. Thanks for all the awesome videos!
Loads of lenses will work. If you're a complete beginner then start with the normal 16-50mm zoom lens, and see what you want from there: a good start would be this 50mm lens
Hi pls pls respond to my question. I need help deciding on the lens to buy. I started blogging and take a lot of pictures of my makeup look for Ig . I JUST bought canon Eos 70d and i don't like the kit lens... also I take my pictures so the 50mm gets only a part of my face. Pls which lens should I buy.. and something sharp and affordable.. Pls give me better options to consider...
I want to use this lens for music videos, low light is mainly the reason i need this lens for, close up and long distance as you know how music videos are these days, i have the sony 6300 and will be filming in 4k of course, is this lens for me? It will be my first ever lens i will be purchasing on a camera, will i be happy with this lens for music videis in day light and low light, will this do the perfect job comparing to the kit lens for sony a6300 which i purchased 2 days ago but do not agree with low light conditions? Please help
I’m new to photography and I recently bought the Sony a6000, I see that there are two different Sony f/1.8 50mm camera, the cheaper one being $250 and the other priced at $300, what’s the difference? Is it because one has a manual focus and the other doesn’t?
Hey Shay, so he has another video on the FE 50mm f/1.8 which is $250 that I think you are most likely talking about. The difference in this one is you are paying for the image stabilization (OSS feature), which is what the $50 difference is and I think it's well worth it. I say that because OSS adds extra versatility in what you can shoot, and a big plus if you shoot any video. I shoot a lot of moving subjects, and I don't always have a tripod, so I went with the $300 in this video. I shoot also with an a6000, and this was the third lens I got for it and I'm very pleased. Take a look at the other video he posted, but I recommend the 50mm f/1.8 OSS two thumbs up, especially if you are starting out and looking to upgrade from kit lens.
Howard Shin and I actually bought the FE lens today! I’m very impressed with it, me being a beginner, the loud focus noise doesn’t really bother me at all. And I will most likely just shoot portraits or just pictures in general, I(probably) won’t be shooting any videos at all.
Did you try it on a fullframe to see how well it performs, even if it´s actually just an APS-C lens? I remember sometimes you can find a steal on these APS-C lenses working on a FF quite well. I´d really like you to do these tests too :)
Hi everybody : is this good for object photography ? I need to take photos for my website, fihing items. I have a sony a6000 and need pictures for the items * fishing reels, squid jigs, hooks " for the website . I use a photo studio for this purpose. I need some good not that expensive lenses. Any advice would be much appreciated . Thank you !
Wow Makes me want one now. IDK if you saw my comment on your other video But I borrowed one a wile back and it had realy bad red fringing even at F/3.5. I must have used a bad copy.
how about Sony SEL50 °F18 full frame e mount vs. Sony 50mm F1.8 E-Mount Lens e mount?( both are on Sony a6000) Can you give me a tip of which i should buy? Thank you!!
You're confused. This lens is only for APS-C cameras, where its equivalent full-frame focal length will be 75mm. On a full-frame camera you'll just see lots of vignetting around the edges
Thanks very much for this informative video. I also have a sony a6300 camera. I want to ask you a question. Which 50 mm lens would you recommend or would you prefer to use with this camera? 👍👍👍
I own this lens, using with a6000. I'm not getting sharper photos. I own Rokinon 12mm F2.0 too, using with same a6000. I get very sharp pictures from Rokinon. I was thinking that I got faulty sony 50mm. It seems, we can get sharper pictures at f4.
Thanks for the review, Christopher. I've wondered about this one (being relatively new to the Sony lineup). I've just started my review of the Sigma 16mm f/1.4 DN lens, and early impressions (very early) are favorable.
I'd love to test that one! Things are a bit busy with Christmas at the moment though hehe
Tis the season...
i never actually comment on tech videos, but your review of the unit is absolutely phenomenal. very professional! liked and subbed. keep it up!
I love this lens. Also love the Sony 35mm f1.8. Two great lenses with OSS. Thanks for the review.
After watching this video, I bought the lens right away. And I am completely satisfied with it. Use it almost every day. Thank you!
Stefan Kobald so after a year how are you liking the lens still?
Thank you, Christopher. This is truly a great review with just enough details, plus the perfect voice tone.

A great review, Will buy this lens for my A6000 to improve picture quality. Now using kitlens 16-50 and 55-210.

john hazel is the bokeh really good with this lens?
How does it compare to sigma counterpart?
I can't wait to see your review of the sigma 30mm f1.4 dc dn and the new sigma 16mm f1.4 dc dn.

You got a great deal, and you'll enjoy the lens :-)
you covered everything well Chris; would have liked even more video footage
haha I bought a used one and I noticed it makes photos a bit cool, what could that be? is it the coating of the lens?
Have this lens and it’s fantastic. Couldn’t ask more from a 50mm prime
This lends hands down is a must-buy for any aps-c user Sony shooter. For what you get and a cheap price this is a must-buy it will be the sharpest lens in your first line of lenses and is a great starter point. Disciplines is incredibly sharp you can find it for under $300.

Very great review, so nice to watch and listen and really informative ! Thank you for your work !
glad you made this review, it inspired me to purchase one.
Great review as always. I hope you get the chance to review the sony 35mm 1.8 for APSC.
i wish they would have added oss to the full frame version :(

excellent review! very objective and takes into account the things that matter when it comes to choosing lenses
Very informative, even for beginners~ thank you for the review!
straightforward review. i like it.
Hi Chris! Great video as always. Would you recommend this lens on the Sony a6400?
Super review Chris. I’m new to Sony, and this review has proven very useful thanks. Diolch
Thanks for the review . I have been looking at these, though I have many other lenses in this range including the Sigma 60mm F2.8 Art, but I am sure the OSS and better AF might make this one worth the premium.

Do you think the poor performance of the autofocus on stills is a result of the camera or the lens? I thought of buying this for the Sony EV-Z10.
Hi , can I use this lens for shooting Movies on my SONY A6600 ?
It's the best lens I have in my arsenal.
Hi I have this lens for my a6000. I also bought an A7ii and the full frame FE 50m F1.8 recently. I am hoping to get the 55mm zeiss lens at some point (read that it is one of the best) . Great review, as always, Christopher. Did you have the opportunity to test the centering quality of the lens?
Hello there, Christopher! I love your videos, you've helped me a lot with lots of lenses. Will you create a video about Sigma's 24-70 lens? I'm extremely curious about it's quality and optical stabilization. Thank you for what you're doing! Cheers.
One day, yes
Excellent review!...just bought this a few days ago for my olf mirrorless NEX and not sure whether to keep it or swap for 35mm (comment left on your review of Sony 35mm OSS lens). He's been smoking crack or something. Take a look at my reviews to see how both lenses compare on APS-C
How does this lens perform in difficult low light conditions?
I just received this lens today and mounted to my 6400. I can't seem to get the autofocus to work. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.
maybe a good value lens to try in the e mount system is the Sigma 2.8 30mm art.
Yup. This one also has OSS
Thank you for answering, appreciate it 😄
Does this lens zoom in and out.
This is of course a problem in low light when I need to open the aperture, or if I want really really shallow depth of field,
cause in that case, even the part of the image that is in focus is not really in focus, it's just the least blurry.
Like you said, it doesn't really have the character, and bokeh is so so.
If Sigma made 50mm lens in the same class as 16mm and 30mm lenses(which are similar price range as the sony 50mm 1.8), that lens
would've been much better than this Sony lens.
is the sigma 56mm 1.4 better?
Will there be a review of that voigtlander lens?
ToXiCRising 99 Maybe hehe
I have had this lens for nearly 2 years. Just like you, I find the little niggles to be distracting (like the nervous bokeh). I am keeping it, for now, until I upgrade to my next camera (I primarily use Canon).
Can you compare sigma's 30 1.4 to sony's E 35 1.8?
I can tell you.. sigma 30 1.4 more sharpest than sony 35 1.8 even at aperture 1.4. I used it in sony a6k.
How about AF speed, accuracy and noise?
AF speed sony a little bit more fast, accuracy sony better (sometimes sigma missfocused but rarely), and noise depends on your camera. cmiiw..
yes.. can't wait sigma's 30 1.4 and sony's E 35 1.8
35 1.8.. . OSS.
Which one do u think is better for sony zv e10. Sony E 50mm f/1.8 OSS or Sony FE 50mm f/1.8?
Go for E 50mm f/1.8 OSS. I think you won’t benefit more from the FE lens since it’s for full frame and it doesn’t have stabilisation.
Hi thanks for this review very helpful, I just wanted to make sure would it fit onto my Sony Alpha 5000 ?
Yup. It's an E-mount lens
Nice lightweight and relatively inexpensive portrait lens on the A6500!
awesome review!
What about for car photography, for shallow depth of field?
If you stand well back, then you will get a slightly out of focus background with a big subject like a car (only slightly, though)
Christopher Frost Photography what lens would you recommend for an extreme shallow depth of field when it comes to car photography?
A 135mm f/2 lens. Samyang make a very good manual focus one
How would the results look like on a cropped frame? Using a 135mm
testing this one out, it seems fairly good.
Hi there. Can this 50mm do a great job for macro photography? Or should I go for the 30mm macro instead?
If you watch the review, you'll find out about its close focusing ability
I have a question on a remark you mentioned about autofocus being slow. If a lens auto focuses slower it can actually effect the video capabilities in tracking a subject? (I don't do video and when I do it's not something that usually moves much anyways)
It can do but it's not usually a probably, unless something is coming towards you very, very fast.
Ah yes the nifty fifty. A worthy lens to own at a pretty decent price. Though, at 75mm effective you have to accept its limitations. As in use limitations. It is not a great group portrait lens ;)
Good to see that they offer a good quality E mount model. And didn't skimp out cheapening it out.
Masticina Akicta I think ‘group portrait lens’ is an oxymoron.......!
Hi Christopher, have you reviewed the Sony 50mm F2.8 Macro lens? I can't find it in your channel. If you are bored and want a lens to test, please add it to your list. Thanks for all the awesome videos!
Hi, i plan to buy sony a6400 could you please recomend me which lens will fit for this camera specially for potrait, cooking video and landscape?
Loads of lenses will work. If you're a complete beginner then start with the normal 16-50mm zoom lens, and see what you want from there: a good start would be this 50mm lens
Which lens is sharpest in a Sony Nex? This lens? (Sony SEL50, f1.8) or the vintage lens Meyer Goerlitz 50 mm, f 1.8? Thanks!
I've never even heard of the Meyer lens!
Is it worth to buy one while having SEL1855 and SEL55210?
Sure - you'll get lovely portrait pictures with the 1.8 lens
I recently bought this lens, how can I zoom on Sony A6000 ? when I rotate the ring it doesnt do any telephoto / zoom.
its a prime lens. not a zoom lens
Is it Prime lens?
I see you went to my home town burry port!!
Hi, thanks for your good video. I'm beginner and want know, Does this lens have zoom ability?
Nope. It's a 50mm lens. If it was zoomable it would be something like 18-50mm or 50-200mm etc.
hi. sorry for my newbies question. how to turn on/off OSS ?
In the camera's menu
is this lens gives a full frame for APS-C sensor? please answer
Watch the review, and you'll find out!

Adrian Gray thank you...i really appreciate
I want to use this lens for music videos, low light is mainly the reason i need this lens for, close up and long distance as you know how music videos are these days, i have the sony 6300 and will be filming in 4k of course, is this lens for me? It will be my first ever lens i will be purchasing on a camera, will i be happy with this lens for music videis in day light and low light, will this do the perfect job comparing to the kit lens for sony a6300 which i purchased 2 days ago but do not agree with low light conditions? Please help
Could be really good for you :-)
Fantastic lens..... far better than the Sony Full frame FE 50mm ...
Please can this lens works with Sony a6000 if not what adaptor can i use?..thanks
Yes it can. All Sony E-mount lenses can
I’m new to photography and I recently bought the Sony a6000, I see that there are two different Sony f/1.8 50mm camera, the cheaper one being $250 and the other priced at $300, what’s the difference?
Howard Shin Awesome! Thank you for your input and recommendation! God bless :)
Howard Shin and I actually bought the FE lens today! I’m very impressed with it, me being a beginner, the loud focus noise doesn’t really bother me at all. And I will most likely just shoot portraits or just pictures in general, I(probably) won’t be shooting any videos at all.
Can you compare this to the sigma 56
Watch my video of the Sigma lens and you will see how well it performs - all my tests are standardized :-)
@@christopherfrost which one is faster in autofocus between sigma 56 f1.4 and sony 50 f1.8? I need a lens to a child photography
Did you try it on a fullframe to see how well it performs, even if it´s actually just an APS-C lens? I remember sometimes you can find a steal on these APS-C lenses working on a FF quite well. I´d really like you to do these tests too :)
netmaster78 the issue with using apsc lenses on ff is the huge loss in mp. 24mp FF is reduced to about 10mp after the apsc crop is done.
Mine focuses fastly! Do you have your autofocus drive speed set to "fast"?
^^^^^ The one I borrowed was As speedy as the 16-50mm Kit
Maybe he hasn't updated the firmware of the lens as well?
Hi everybody : is this good for object photography ? I need to take photos for my website, fihing items. I have a sony a6000 and need pictures for the items * fishing reels, squid jigs, hooks " for the website . I use a photo studio for this purpose. I need some good not that expensive lenses. Any advice would be much appreciated . Thank you !
Wow Makes me want one now. IDK if you saw my comment on your other video But I borrowed one a wile back and it had realy bad red fringing even at F/3.5. I must have used a bad copy.
Really like this review
how about Sony SEL50 °F18 full frame e mount vs. Sony 50mm F1.8 E-Mount Lens e mount?( both are on Sony a6000) Can you give me a tip of which i should buy? Thank you!!
That's a confusing question. Just get this lens - it's great
how can i zoom on a subject if i get this lens? like if i want to focus on one guy instead of the whole team how can i do that?
It's not a zoom lens. Just 50mm
A question almost as daft as your name!
How to enable OSS in A6400 using this Sony 50mm f/1.8 OSS lens?
In your camera's menu
So this lens on a full frame sony cam will actually be 75 mm?
You're confused. This lens is only for APS-C cameras, where its equivalent full-frame focal length will be 75mm. On a full-frame camera you'll just see lots of vignetting around the edges
Tempted to get this lens so to compare with vintage lens.
Shamai paup? What is that you're saying at the beginning?
It's Welsh for 'Howdy' hehe
Oh cool! How do you spell it? I got as far as shwmae
um. is it good for landscape ?
If you want a 50mm prime lens for landscape work, then yes, it will be good
What will be it's focal length? 50mm Or 1.5x50mm =75mm on my a6000?
You own an APS-C camera. Therefore, you must always always multiply the focal length by 1.5x for the full-frame equivalent. So yes, 50mm x 1.5 = 75mm
Thank you ☺
So this works as a 50MM or 75mm on A6400?
75mm because apsc has 1.5x crop.
I'm also looking to buy the a6400 btw, looking for lenses rn.

Thanks for the review :)
Amazing review
Thanks very much for this informative video. I also have a sony a6300 camera. I want to ask you a question. Which 50 mm lens would you recommend or would you prefer to use with this camera?
👍👍👍
For the a6300, I would actually go for this lens
How do you afford all those lenses? Do you just buy them used, or...
Hornwiesel You think I buy them all?! That would be amazing he he. Watch my FAQs video :-)
Works on a6500 ??
It's Sony E-mount, so yes
Please please please review Sony 35mm f/1.8 E-mount, if you haven't already.
A review is coming one day :-)
Another subscriber! ur videos are awesome man!
a6500 owner from hungary :)
It could well be a faulty lens. My copy was very sharp at wide aperture, as you can see in this review
Thanks!
This or Kamlan 50mm 1.1? I have problem to pick one :/ for portraits, need some sharpness and bokeh
