The Ben Ezra Synagogue, or the Ben Ezra Temple, or the synogague of Genizah, as some like to call it, is one of the oldest and most important synagogues of the Jewish community in Egypt. In one of its rooms, researchers found hundreds of thousands of ancient Geniza documents, which chronicle the Jews and their conditions in Egypt since The ninth century AD. سلام الله عليكم ورحمته وبركاته نشكر الدكتور طارق الشافعي على اطروحاته التاريخية ونتمنى ان يتوافق مع اقوال المؤرخين فمثلا العبرانيين جاءت هذه التسمية لانهم ينتسبون الى عابر وهو نبي الله هود واسم عابر هي باللغة السريانية كما ان الحميريين تسموا باليهود وهو ايضا نبي الله هود مضاف لها الياء اليمنية الكلاعية . فاليهود اصلا هم فرقة من النسيج الاجتماعي لليمن القديم واللغة العبرية هي لغة المعبد الديني الذي ظلت الكهنة محتفظة فيه الى الوقت الحاضر .
