Stephen Sanchez is just 19 year's old ...shocker he recorded this song last year .I want him to succeed he is the nearest thing what we have close to all the old musician not just Elvis...
It was recorded in 2021. I hope he succeeds as well. I had the privilege of meeting him in person one time before he had all this fame. The funny thing was he recognized me first. I guess he remembered me from social media or something. Anyway I am just as much of a fan as some of his newer fans but it still makes me feel special that I am somewhat of an OG fan and I’m super proud to see the well earned success he’s gotten
It's great to see a vocal coach who actually explains the music / singing techniques, instead of saying "OMG that is soooooo good" every 5 seconds. You also have an amazing voice !
@@Tarasimonstudioshey tara loved the video btw when you showed the cherry guitar could you say the brand because I’m going to buy a guitar and love that design so could you please tell me
I first heard this song about 4 months ago or more purely by chance on you tube. No sooner than I heard it I thought what a voice! I'm 72 years old and the way he articulates the lyrics I found very nostalgic song to me IMO. I've listened many times since then. I hope he keeps his style along this path, will go far for sure.
I feel the same way! I'm 70 and was blown away when I first heard this song. The nostalgia is phenomenal. Have you heard him and his band sing the Beatles "This Boy"? Pure goosebumps! Takes me back to simpler days.
I never heard him do it live and tears came to my eyes when I heard those first notes 😂 he's an incredibly talented artist and deserves all the success and respect in the music world
He does NOT sound like Elvis... He sounds like Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens and Ricky Nelson all in one. His voice is remarkable and I hope he makes it big time. He is so much better than the music we have to listen to now. They have real instruments and don't use any auto tune.Brilliant!
He's by far the best we have today. Amazing songwriter and singer. His voice is out of this world. And, by the way, you also have a very beautiful voice, Tara! Besides being an excellent vocal coach!
Saw Stephen Sanchez last night in Tampa. What an absolutely incredible talent. I saw a remark that he could be the child of Roy Orbison and Elvis :) I've been too many concerts, Bowie, Queen, lots, even Live Aid, but his performance last night really moved me and it's up there as one of the best concerts I have ever seen.
I wondered badly why I liked this song so much. It's blissful when you find someone, verbalizing exactly why and how you feel, when you hear this song. What a lovely video!
I fell in love with Stephen the first time I heard his voice, used in a tic toc video and quickly asked my son to find out who he was and became a fan for life. Stephen has a few songs out now and I love them all. I heard his song on the radio for the first time today while I was shopping and stopped dead in my tracks and stated very loudly, finally he is on the radio.
The artist Stephen, perfect! The song & melody, awesome perfect! But what i love most is how Tara, the vocal coach came perfect with all points of characterizing the artist' talent. And for this, i would say.. "i was lost in the dark until i found her, i found you.. ooohh.." ❤ i love you 🥰
True, Im 58yrs old and I support the statement about there being a void in the industry for old classic style music like this, hence he has the support fan base of the whole old generation coming from that era too, wow.
Judging from the dozens of RUclips comments I've read, it seems he appeals to people from age 14-80. Also, according to various comments, many seem happy that his lyrics are simple and clean...no swearing/vulgarity.
His vibrato reminds me of chanson actually. And when I first heard it I thought it was an old song that I'd never heard before. On searching for the song I was very surprised to learn that it was a modern one (since honestly I'd given up on modern music) and then his age! Instant fan and regained my faith in modern music and musicians. But yes I agree there's a void for real storytelling and beautiful lyrics in music these days.
What you're recapturing I totally AGREED with you coach. His voice is in the 50's vibes... His music brings classic romantic rhythm as well Elvis 1968 special❤️❤️❤️💯👍
I had never heard of him when I saw this last year but I was really impressed. A real throwback retro style. Elvis also has a very fast vibrato, although Stephen's voice doesn't sound like Elvis's, and this song itself doesn't remind me of an Elvis song--more like one of the teen idol crooners of the early 60s. Update: I just heard an older song a day or two ago that was very much like this song but I can't remember what is.
Sans your music professionalism against my lack there of , I feel like I'm watching myself and how I first reacted when I heard Stephen for the first time !!
NO ONE WILL EVER REPLACE ELVIS. The guy has a beautiful voice and loads of talent also a beautiful song performed perfectly I really enjoyed listening to it.
Wow, this was great. Never heard of Stephen Sanchez before but thanks to you, Tara, now I have. Tara, PLEASE react to Dimash's new Spanish song El Amor En Ti. PLEASSSSEEEEEE. You'll love it, I promise :)
@@joshuamarshall6932 Absolutely right. People say Elvis but Sanchez reminds me much more of the harmonies of the Everly Brothers. This would have been a big hit if released in 1960!

Hearing your voice I can only think of Josephine Baker. Can't think of any other singer that has that short vibrato singing in the top of my head. I enjoy hearing more voice like that it's distinctive at least for me. The cover song like Ocean and you are the reason with Kris Klafford which he also does the Vibrato which he killed it singing Imagine.

Elvis Presley is so big in name, he kind of eclipses others, but they still need recognition. Buddy Holly was the og king.
Little bit like Phil or Don Everly

Absolutely I agree 1000%
He's the new Ritchie Valens. He's goig for that
I'm a huge Elvis fan and Stephen is actually playing the same guitar as Elvis in his 68' comeback special. It's called a Hagstrom '67 Viking II
Stephen is undeniably a great singer and composer.
