The music in this game was fantastic.. klepacki made a masterpiece recognized only by few people. And the game was also one of the best in its type. Played it as a kid in 2000-2002, then forgot but again started playing (multi) 2 years ago and played for several months. So nostalgic feeling... great. Music is still in my playlists. PS as a kid never completed mission with 3 hovers) it was like a riddle for me:)

The new computer had 64MB of RAM and my father got it as it could run more games. One day when my father came back home, he gave me this and said "here kid". He didn't really know much about computer games. By sheer luck he had bought this game for me. I played it for a few years but could not finish the last mission of either campaign. The mission where we take the mutants and save Tratos and the one where we have to capture the hammerfest base are the most memorable ones. A lot of memories. I did buy a computer with Windows 98 and played this game all the way to the end in 2015.
I was 8 when I got my first computer and I remember my father taking me to a store and buying a 3 in 1 bundle with Fifa 2000, Tiberian Sun and NBA 2001. As a child I was blown away by how good it looks, the atmosphere was amazing and hearing songs in FIFA2000 instead of midi ones was just insane. I fondly remember that time, me and my brother watching each other play these games, it felt magical and these cutscenes in Tiberian Sun looked photorealistic to me. Now I'm 29 and my father passed away in 2018. Miss him and those days of pure wonder just playing computer games, ordering my first pizzas in my life... Brings tears to my eyes.
Starcraft was all about tactic and speed and also a great game. But C&C was more about the ambiance, i think the whole feel of the maps and missions was incredible here

I loved this game, atmosphere, music, playability, perfect and timeless play. If someone made it in 3D and up to 4K, I would like to play it again and I would spend all the night to play it.
I never beat this game back in the day. I'm pretty sure I got stuck on GDI-08 and never got past that. So, when I saw that you were having trouble with GDI-17 I looked up a couple other videos to see how people were doing it. RC1985 rushed to the blue tib in the north-west and used that income to spam infantry, then used his titans as a meat shield to rush down the closes Nod artillery. With the artillery cleared, you can harvest the nearby green tib fields and spam titans. Hopefully OpenRA will have their Tib Sun mod available soon, and I can get back to playing this amazing game. Damn I miss this game!!! I used to build massive bases with both NOD & GDI in Skirmish. Favorites were Cyborg Commander followed by a GDI Titan army & a NOD artillery fleet.

I'm triggered by the unnecessary uncovering of the whole map and endless barracks building. Me: yo there's a SAM site in the middle of your base and you gotta destroy those laser fence posts... Player: nah fam I'ma build another Barracks
I have a really vague memory of playing this when I was 6 or 7 maybe. The pictures and text on the right hand side of the screen are familiar, as well as the little rovers/vehicles that collect resources like @1:31:06 , the green lines showing unit paths, the general sound effects, and the way the fog is uncovered. I'm glad I found out what game this memory is from.
21:50 I was 9 when I played this mission. I remember that day, because it was 9/11/2001 and I didn't understand at a time what happened in USA(I live in Europe), but I remember it was one of my first times thinking about serious matters(even if just for a moment). Such a weird memory...
@@santeri9149 Dont even mention that burning garbage pile. Netflix couldn't have fucked it up worse if they tried. Then again, the vast majority of original netflix programming is atrocious. When netflix came about, they praised it as a new form of tv, free from the heavy handed propaganda so prevalent in television. For some reason, it ended up being way worse. Besides, C&C is pretty much a sci-fi political drama as long as you only watch the cutscenes. I doubt there's enough good actors in the world to fill up the boots of these guys anyway.

Cman1O1Dalek 2.0 honestly I really love command and conquer 3: Kane’s wrath. And the story of tiberium twilight was a good end from what I’ve seen of the cutscenes.
I remember all the really cool map modding tools you could get for C&C TS. The scaling was so pleasing. I think I had gotten a bit addicted to the tiberium myself.
Love this game, when they changed the franchise to the whole Red Alert nonsense the CC genre took a whacky turn. It was like going backwards instead of forwards.
Once you get used to it though, the whackiness is the major draw of the Red Alert series. It culminated with Tim Curry in RA3 escaping to one place not corruped by capitalism... Space!

@Taramafor Haikido i think mammoth tank was replaced with distruptor and mammoth walker ( albeit the latter can only be build once). Orca haulier is a favor but medic grenadiers combo does work well.

This game might have the most unique and fleshed out atmosphere ive ever seen in video game.

29 used to play with my father when I was a lad with his clan. He died in 2003
